Customer had the vehicle towed to us and requested that we fix the timing belt, we proceeded with the work Upon completion the vehicle was running rough, we had no prior dealing with the vehicle before that, so we are not aware of how it was running before the timing belt broke We replaced the spark plugs to see if this would help with the rough idle, but car still ran rough Often times when timing belts break, it can cause internal damage to motor Customer was not happy, so they took it to a so called friend mechanic, he claimed that we never change the spark plugs which was absolutely not true After this, they continued to take the vehicle to one mechanic after another, each claiming they could fix what we had done wrong, we asked them to bring the vehicle back numerous times which they never would do Standard in the industry, that once you take your car that has been worked on to others, you void any kind of labor claim We almost never have problems with our customer, and if we do have a misunderstanding we are prompt to fix it and make it right for them These folks have threatened nearly from the minute they took the car We would have been more that happy to look at the car again, but they would never bring it back As far as the tires and alignment are concerned, they will continue to wear the rear tires out because they need shims in the rear to correct the camber, we did the alignment, but shims are extra labor and are not included in an alignment They neglected to tell you that we gave, yes gave them two rear tires to try and calm them down But these rear tires will wear out also if they do not put shims in the rear of vehicle To end the story they have threatened to cancel the credit card, request money from us, and have gone to you to get this resolved, when all they had to do was bring the car back to us so we could fix it if there was a problem I wonder if the car is still running rough?
