Lexington Plastic Surgeons Reviews (%countItem)

I was seen at the Oxon Hill,MD location. I had a consultation with Syretta and Dr. Giorgis. I was quoted a price of $4,200 for an arm lift and $2,200 to extend my arm lift down to my sides. This was discussed in detail before I ever paid a dime. Then I went in for surgery was marked for the entire surgery, but when I woke up only half of it was done. The doctor explained to me he would have to finish the second part at a later date because of the way I had to be positioned on the operating table. He explained to me once I was fully healed from the first part, that he would finish the second half of my surgery. After my surgery I had problems healing, because of the type of suture that was used. My body started rejecting it. I went to the doctor concerned that my arm was infected and he assured me it wasn’t, then just two days later my arm completely burst open due the fact that it was indeed infected. I went back in and him, and then he admitted it was infected. So, he cleaned it up and closed the huge open wound. Around this time one if the nurses reveals to me that the Dr. is leaving and moving to Miami. I talked to the manager of the office at the time Amy, and she assured me that my surgery that I paid in full for would be completed by the incoming surgeon. Recently I went into the office and the entire staff is new. I discussed my situation confident that everything would be taken care of instead. I am quoted a price for liposuction and skin tightening for $3,000. I explained I have already paid for my surgery it just was not completed and the portion that was completed was poorly done. I was given no resolve. The lady told me I need to try to find my surgeon in Miami so he can finish the surgery, but I paid Lexington Plastic Surgeons and he was not a doctor working in a private practice. I can’t believe that after they had no problem getting my full payment of $6,400 that I would have a problem receiving the services I paid for. I went through a surgery to lift my hanging arm skin and now I am still left with hanging arm skin and scars. My surgical results were not what was promised to me and also I’m left with one half of the surgery never performed. I told the lady before I left the office I felt robbed, but of course she did not care, and gave me a paper with how much they would charge me for the services they were offering.

On July *** 2019, I sought consultation at the Lexington Plastic Surgeon (LPS) franchise in New York City. I did so to learn primarily about skin procedures and to inquire what new technologies might be best in the area of correcting facial scars. Additionally, I came to learn more about the office's Medi-Slim program, to which I had previously inquired about at this same location with the same consultant three years earlier. In meeting with the ***, the conversation further progressed into curiosity and finally an agreement to have a liposuction procedure performed pending approval of financing through a company by the name of Alpheon Credit, which is utilized by LPS to approve purchases for procedures. Alpheon immediately approved me for a $7,300.00 credit line and a pre-surgery bill was drawn up for $5,600.00 with $1000.00 of that charged immediately without service being rendered (Consultations are free). There was never an explanation for this charge and the agreement during the following week with *** was to reverse that charge back into what was expected to be the entire cost of $5,600 for the procedure to avoid my receipt of what would end up being two seperate bills. Approval for the procedure involved an off-site clinic which was designated as a pre-surgical medical facility used to clear the surgery at a rate of $175.00, also not included in the surgery fees.

Prior to making a decision, there was an agreement to first speak with the Surgeon, Dr. Charlie C. During the August *** consult with Dr. C, he recommended a more invasive *** as well as the "360 Lipo procedure." I phoned Ms. C and told her of his recommendation and plan and several days went by before receiving what was to be the additional and final costs for the two procedures by phone. Ms. C informed me without providing an updated bill that the final cost of the surgery would be $9,600.00 . She advised me to call Alpheon and request more credit for which I was granted a total credit line of $9800.00. On August ***, LPS charged the Alpheon credit line for $9,597.50, prior to what would have been a surgery date of August *** without my approval or signature.

Both Dr. C and Ms. C were aware of my plans to travel outside of the country from August -***. During this time, I developed sun poisoning and on August *** called Lexington Plastic Surgery to inform them of this. Ms. C agreed to send pictures of my affliction to Dr. C and another office co-worker by the name of GiGi, who indicated that she would ask Dr. C to phone me. Dr. C was to be performing the last of his New York surgeries that week of August ***, as he was to be opening the new Beverly Hills Office of this franchise the following week. Dr. C phoned on the morning of August 21st and told me that he looked at the pictures I had sent of the ravaged skin on my chest and forearms and felt that there was no issue in proceeding forward if the scars were not oozing, but advised that I go to Urgi Care to have the illness assessed. He also stated that the decision to move forward was certainly my own and that he would understand my decision. On the evening of August *** after going to Urgi Care at Westmed in Yonkers, the decision was made by me, due to unexpected discomfort resulting from the residual affect of sun-posioning, that I would not move forward with the August *** surgery. Unable to reach Ms. C after trying to no avail, I phoned GiGi and informed her that due to my condition, I would rather opt to continue with my initial desire to participate in the Medi-slim program under the medical care of the LPS facility instead of having surgery. I asked that Ms. C phone to discuss this with me, but we did not speak until she returned my phone call on the afternoon of August ***.
She asked when I wanted to begin and confirmed once again that the cost of this program was $2,000.00. I wanted to begin immediately and an appointment was made for August ***.

I saw a Nurse Practioner on August *** who demanded to receive further blood panels and they were completed under my insurance at Montefiore in New Rochelle. I then went back to Lexington Plastic Surgeons with the completed panel and began the Medislim program on Sept ***. However, since then, the practice has refused to reverse the charges for the cancelled surgery of August ***, and in doing so, cannot effectively pay itself for the Medislim program. This has resulted in my second week of this time sensitive weight loss program, being unable to deliver mandatory medication which is to be picked up and injected in a timely fashion. I am to receive this medication today September ***, but the practice did not schedule me for an appointment to receive my injection or pick up the now mandatory daily injections the program requires.

Additionally, the staff is circumventing calls, office managers are said not to be present, and there is no one apparently accountable for billing concerns who was willing to speak with me. On September *** when last in the facility, I was assured by a woman named Wendy R that all charges were to be reversed with the exception of the $2000.00 for the Medi-slim program. She offered her phone number and extension, but Ms. R was not heard from again. I have only been able to reach receptionist and on call lines and the situation is said to becoming escalated to appropriate parties, but no one has had the couteosy thus far to not only call about my refund, but as well to note that I am in week two of a diet without the appropriate medication which still had not arrived as of September ***.

I find this medical establishment to be regretfully working beneath its reputation and the manner in which I have been treated egregious.

They took my money for services that they never provided to me!

I received an unsolicited and quasi-pornographic flyer through the mail, addressed to me by name, for 'vaginal rejuvenation' services offered by this business. The flyer included a photo of a woman clad only in skimpy lingerie caressing her breast on one side, and a photo of a woman pulling her skimpy underpants down off her hip on the other side. I resent very much this type of indecent mailing being sent to me, particularly with my name on it for my neighbors to see, and object strongly to its blatantly sexist, misogynistic demeaning imagery and message. Furthermore, I am skeptical as to the medical and ethical propriety of such a solicitation, and suspect they are making false claims in their advertising.
