Review: I went into the Lexus dealer to buy a RX350. I read good things about it in consumer reports. We sat in a car just like the one I was going to purchase, which I ended up leasing. He explained many things and it was very confusing, but 1 thing I was not confused about was the app to remotely start the car. He said, "you can remotely start the car and even tell if your windows are open from California, it is on the 2015". Then he showed me the button on his phone that looked just like the button on the dashboard. I purchased a brand new 2015, he said it was on the 2015's. He reviewed many things about the radio that I didn't really care about. I was so happy I would be able to remotely start my car because I am so tired of getting into a cold car - [redacted], PA.

After I had signed all the papers and when I was getting ready to leave I asked the guy who was showing me features in the car about setting up my garage door opener and the remote start. He said I should look at a uTube video on how to setup a garage door opener and for the Remote Start he said it doesn't have one but they could put in an after market for $236(?). I figured he didn't know how to setup the garage door he probably didn't know how to setup the remote start, I would figure these things out later.

I sent an email to the dealer that I didn't get the Encore Remote Starter that I was sure came with the 2015 RX350. Mark Entries called me back and said it was not part of what I purchased but he could get me one at cost. I wasn't really interested in buying what I was told I was getting.

Then I sent another email explaining that I was confident I was getting a remote started when I purchased the car, he said it wasn't in writing anywhere. I would be willing to bet there are a lot of things in the car that are not in writing. When I was told it comes in the RX350 2015 I didn't even question it.Desired Settlement: Put in the remote starter I was told I was getting in the car.
