Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I was never told that I needed rear brakes even though they had my car for over days Why would I drive my car out of town knowing I needed rear bakes and why would they replace the brake fluids knowing that if I were to come back for rear brakes they would have to flush the system again--Really, are they allowed to double charge the customers for the same service Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Initial service appointment was set for a 90,mile serviceThe service advisor went over in detail the contents of the 90K and its costVehicle came in for service on July 6, 2016, the service advisor once again discussed the contents of the 90K service and had the client sign next to the cost of the repairs directly on the Lexus repair order (RO# [redacted] )We believe the issue is that there was a lack of communication between the husband and the wife (owners of the vehicle)Sincerely,Lexus of Orland

I am rejecting this response because: They are lies. A 90,miles service was never mentioned to me or my husbandMy husband called the day before the service call for an oil change and was told to being the car in for service at 8:a.m.. A 90,miles service was never mentioned. The car did not have 90,miles on it and so I nor my husband knew nothing about a 90,miles service. My husband called me at work so I could speak directly to the service agent because the agent wanted to do some fluids and my husband would not approve it without speaking to me. So he allow the agent to speak with me on his phone and never, not once did the agent mention a 90,miles service that my car needed. He said the car needed more fluids and I told him I would take care of that when I would return from vacation. So he said you really need wipers, so I agreed to wipers, but nothing else. I was in shock when I got the bill by email and my colleagues asked me what type of wipers did they put on my car, gold? All my work colleagues heard me tell the man to only do the oil change and wipers. They said they would be available to testify in court if need be. Because he was talking to me on my husband's cell phone and not the company's phone which would have taped the conversation, he took it upon himself and went back to my husband and told him I had agreed to a 90,miles service so my husband signed the papers. If he did it to me, he has pull this trick on other customers. I would stake my life that he had gotten away with this fraudulent act before. NoI do not accept his response, he is a liar and I and my colleagues will go to court if need be. I reject this response and I reject Lexus for allowing these fraudulent acts made on their customers. This dealership needs to be reprimanded for their fraudulent practices.
Sincerely,

cost of the repairs directly on the Lexus repair order (RO#[redacted])We believe the issue is that there was a lack of communication between the husband and the wife (owners of the vehicle). Sincerely,Lexus of Orland

On September 2nd, 2016 the customer was advised by our Service department, through our Multi Point Inspection (performed by a Lexus technician), that the left rear brake lining measurement was 2 millimeters and the right rear brake lining measurement was 5 millimeters. The client was...

verbally, via email, and physically given a repair estimate for replacement of rear brake pads & rotors as well as a quote to attempt to free up the left rear brake caliper. Standard protocol is to try to unseize a brake caliper first. If the brake caliper cannot be unseized then replacement is necessary. The left rear caliper was seized and is why the brake pad measurements were not the same on the multipoint inspection.
