Thank you for addressing [redacted] inquiry about contact with our...

tech support
team.  In short, there were several attempted communications from our tech
support group prior to [redacted] Revdex.com INQUIRY.  A chat request from [redacted] was received at 12:32 PM on December [redacted].  This is a high volume
time of year for technical support and as such response times take longer than
usual.  Our technician entered the chat at 1:22PM and offered support, but
the customer was no longer there.  We sincerely apologize for the slight
delay on the initial response.   [redacted] then contacted our
Facebook team.   Technical support sent a responsive e-mail on January
**and received no response.  Technical support sent another e-mail on
January [redacted].  I then advised the Facebook team to have [redacted] check
the junk mail folder of her e-mail for a response.
Keep in mind that as the manufacturer, and not the retailer that sold the
product to the customer, we are not authorized to issue a refund.  
Refunds, if any, are up to the retailer.   We will continue to honor
valid warranty claims.   I trust this sufficiently responds to Revdex.com's
inquiry.   Feel free to contact if we can be of further assistance.

Review: We purchased a Kurio handheld tablet for $150. It stopped work the week of Christmas. Customer service has been contacted many times via chat and email. I waited for almost 4 hours on chat and then had a message conversation via Facebook Messaging where the customer service representative insisted they would again contact customer service. I've been contacted by no one. We can't use this product as it is defective. All the posts on the Kurio facebook page are complaints with no resolution. There is no Kurio phone number to actually speak with anyone. Kurio is owned by Techno Source which appears to be owned by LF Products. This is just a run-around. No one from any company can give me any answers.Desired Settlement: I would like the product refunded so that we may put it toward a different product.

Review: I purchased three of these products for Christmas last year in 2012 they worked well for 2 months 3 months after that they all stopped working I went back and forth replacing the products I got it bad going the same problems what happened they would black out and they would not turn on anymore I purchased these tablets for my children to use we went on a cruise the cruise coming went and they did not have the tablets for the cruise I replaced one of these tablets with your online service for technical support the day I got it back the sound was not working on the tablet I'm at the point with these tablets right don't want them anymore all I want is the money I spent in paying for this tablet it breaks my kids hearts to get the tablets back in after a couple weeks of use they no longer charge they burnt out over heat they do not turn on anymore they do not charge they do not work at all all three of them I only purchased one of them from Toys R Us with the placement guarantee and insurance so now I'm stuck with just two tablets that do not work and one of them that had been replaced with a gift card for me to purchase a different productI've gone on your [redacted] page many times for Coolio and ask them for assistance in all they do is replace you with the new tablet cause they have a1 year warranty so after this one year am I just spoke with tablets that are sitting in my drawer that I no longer workall I ask for is a replacement for these products I would love to send you guys back to tablet and receive the money back that I paid for them thank youDesired Settlement: I just want a refund for the value of the two tablets from when I purchased them December ** 2012 I will gladly send back the two defective tablets that just take up space in my cabinet because they no longer work I'm tired of getting a tablet that works for a couple weeks and then having to see my kids go to the disappointment of yet again the tablet not working again

[redacted] contacted both our [redacted] and technical support teams regarding her Kurio issues. Techno Source honored its 1 year limited manufacturer’s warranty and replaced the impacted products. As the manufacturer, and not the retailer that sold the product to the customer, we are not authorized to issue a refund. Refunds, if any, are up to the retailer. Review: I sent my defective tablet back to the company under a manufactures warranty, and I was told I would get it back in 10 days after they received the unit,today is now 11/**/2013 and I have yet to receive it and no one I contacted via kurio's live chat seems to be able to helpDesired Settlement: I just want the replacement tablet that the manufacture guaranteed I should have had back already

Review: I have purchased the Kurio 7 from [redacted] in Philadelphia in the [redacted] zip code. It was a defective device so I sent it to Kurio along with Rma number that they asked for and they said it would be back to me with in ten days of receiving the device only it has yet to get back to me. Every time I contact them I get a complete run around and they still have no clue where in the process they are to getting my child's device back to me. When I told them I would report this matter to the Revdex.com he instantly ended our chat session and there is absolutely no other way to contact someone on the matter besides emailing.Desired Settlement: Immediately send me my device or refund for the product I purchased and have a receipt for...the cost was $150 plus 8% sales tax
