I hesitate to submit such a raving review, but so far I have been extremely impressed with LG Jordan Oil Co. We recently decided to install a whole-house back-up generator at our home and needed to purchase & maintain a propane tank for the first time ever. I really prayed about who to contact and felt led to this company, which was also close to our location.
Their work is finished at our house for now. Every contact has been extremely pleasant. They have done everything they said they would do, including showing up at our home EARLY. Everything was thoroughly explained to us, and I have been very pleased. I readily recommend this company.","pos-1

Propane leaking from tank...seller refuses to repair tank or replace product unless at my expense.Propane purchased on 2/3/14...heat switched off for 8 days, during which time gauge on tank went from 10% of capacity to 0%, with heavy odor at tank. Appeared to be leaking as of 2/3...notified seller ([redacted]) who claimed it was not possible. Seller refuses to repair and replace unless I purchase 100 more gallons first. Tank is owned by seller, rendering it impossible for me to use another (lower cost) provider. Desired SettlementEither repair tank and replace the approximately 30 gallons of propane lost via leak at tank (within 3 days of complaint), or refund for lost product (purchased 100 gallons at $448.35...prorate for 30 gallons). Business Response /[redacted]/We believe that this customer does not have a leaking tank. The tank was tested previously the end of November 2013. When the customer called to complain of leak, I did offer to do a full system leak test but when the technician arrived, he found the tank empty which is not a surprise given the fact that the customer only purchased 100 gallons and it has been extremely cold. He detects no problems with the tank. The customer does not wish to purchase more gas at this time so the technician left. Propane does have an odor, and it will smell as the tank runs low to out. We are happy to pick up our tank, if the property owner makes the request(complaintant is the renter of the property not the owner) and they can get a tank and buy from whomever they wish. We have been in business since 1923 and pride ourselves on our customer service and integrity. Once a customer begins to make threats, accusations and question our integrity, the situation usually needs to cool down before a good resolution can be made. We are willing to perform another test and show her the pressure gauge but there must be gas in the tank to do this. We are not in the business of having tanks sitting around leaking, it is not safe. If we do detect a problem, it will be corrected and handled accordingly at that time. We have not nor do we ever refuse to correct a problem, but there are steps that must be followed. Final Consumer Response /[redacted]/As pointed out, the heat was switched off for eight days, during which time the tank lost approximately 10 gallons. Jordan Oil has failed to address this fact as evidenced by their response above. This still constitutes an outstanding issue which needs immediate attention.
