Agreed and paid in full to have a replacement window installed in the bedroom, a new vanity, shower and toilet to including necessary plumbing and associated fixtures in the bathroom, and lastly tile backsplash in the kitchenNone of the items mentioned above were installed to meet even minimum industry standards

We have copies of emails between *** and the owner of our company saying how happy she is with all the work we did.? Why did she wait days to file a complaint and why did she not contact us first? We believe the real issue is with a window we ordered for *** from a supplier and it came
in with the channels slightly off.? Th channels were immediately reordered.? When they came in, we had a problem trying to install as *** was traveling to England.? Also, she had numerous appointments with the animal shelter concerning her many cats.? By the time we called a second time for install, she said he could only come June 8th between 9am and noon.? He said he couldn’t make it June 8th but wanted to come out the very next day, June 9th.? She said forget it and denied him access to her property.? This was a simple minute fix*** gave you pictures of the shower surround.? The surround is fiberglass and is interlocking.? It does not get screwed or attached to the studs except at the very top.? Because it is interlocking, there is no reason to caulk because the channels shed water, eliminating the possibility of mold and mildewWhen we left the job site, the toilet was straight with the wall.? Someone apparently sat down and the tank moved ever so slightly.? The fix doesn’t require any tools, but just needs to be manually straightened.? You cannot tighten the tank any tighter as the toilet is made of porcelain and could crackRegarding the shower faucet, the homeowner was left the manufacturers instruction on adjusting the water temperature and she said she was fine with that.? It is simply a matter of turning a screw to increase or decrease the hot water.? There is a safety setting making out the temperature you choose.? This is called the “scald control”The faucet and handles on the bathroom sink were tight when we left the job.? They can easily be tightened at any timeThroughout the entire job she complimented everything.? She was so nice we did not charge her to replace the line by the toilet that had been rusted out due to cat urine.? We offered a quick fix with a plastic line as a favor, and it was not charged on her invoiceThere were several rotted areas of the subfloor, due to the quantity of cat urine, which we replaced free of charge.? Also, the odor from the cat urine had stained the walls and floors so badly, that we had to use more than twice the amount of Kilz and more than twice the amount of paint, which again, we did free of chargeThere was a faucet in another bedroom that wasn’t working correctly and we replaced all the inner workings to make it work correctly and this also, was free of charge Originally the time line for our work was 7-days,? however once we began removing items, she mentioned having water on the floor of her bedroom which was supposedly the result of another “bad contractor” that had been referred to her by her insurance company.? ? She then decided to have us reroof the area and install new flashing, which added more time to the jobThen, due to the water and excessive cat urine, she decided she wanted us to remove the first two foot of drywall throughout the bedroom and closet.? I then told her it would take an additional to days because the drywall putty would have to dry completely before we could sand and finish those areas.? Needless to say, again, this slowed us down on getting other areas of the project completed.? ? Then she sent us downstairs to the cat room to fix a lock, which we did free of chargeFinally she requested we change out her gutters and downspouts, which she said were installed incorrectly by yet another “bad contractor”.? She then begins to tell me about more horrible contractors she has had at her house.? She said this highly reputable cabinet contractor she hired to replace her kitchen cabinets left her job half done, so we puttied and sanded the wall area and installed a tile “backsplash.? To me, all these “bad contractors” she has had, seems like a pattern with herWe have gone out of our way to work with her and her busy time scheduleAs I said earlier, I she was unhappy why didn’t she contact us, and why did she wait days?

We have copies of emails between [redacted] and the owner of our company saying how happy she is with all the work we did.  Why did she wait 90 days to file a complaint and why did she not contact us first? We believe the real issue is with a window we ordered for [redacted] from a supplier and it came...

in with the channels slightly off.  Th channels were immediately reordered.  When they came in, we had a problem trying to install as [redacted] was traveling to England.  Also, she had numerous appointments with the animal shelter concerning her many cats.  By the time we called a second time for install, she said he could only come June 8th between 9am and noon.  He said he couldn’t make it June 8th but wanted to come out the very next day, June 9th.  She said forget it and denied him access to her property.  This was a simple 15 minute fix. [redacted] gave you pictures of the shower surround.  The surround is fiberglass and is interlocking.  It does not get screwed or attached to the studs except at the very top.  Because it is interlocking, there is no reason to caulk because the channels shed water, eliminating the possibility of mold and mildew. When we left the job site, the toilet was straight with the wall.  Someone apparently sat down and the tank moved ever so slightly.  The fix doesn’t require any tools, but just needs to be manually straightened.  You cannot tighten the tank any tighter as the toilet is made of porcelain and could crack. Regarding the shower faucet, the homeowner was left the manufacturers instruction on adjusting the water temperature and she said she was fine with that.  It is simply a matter of turning a screw to increase or decrease the hot water.  There is a safety setting making out the temperature you choose.  This is called the “scald control”. The faucet and handles on the bathroom sink were tight when we left the job.  They can easily be tightened at any time. Throughout the entire job she complimented everything.  She was so nice we did not charge her to replace the line by the toilet that had been rusted out due to cat urine.  We offered a quick fix with a plastic line as a favor, and it was not charged on her invoice. There were several rotted areas of the subfloor, due to the quantity of cat urine, which we replaced free of charge.  Also, the odor from the cat urine had stained the walls and floors so badly, that we had to use more than twice the amount of Kilz and more than twice the amount of paint, which again, we did free of charge. There was a faucet in another bedroom that wasn’t working correctly and we replaced all the inner workings to make it work correctly and this also, was free of charge Originally the time line for our work was 7-8 days,  however once we began removing items, she mentioned having water on the floor of her bedroom which was supposedly the result of another “bad contractor” that had been referred to her by her insurance company.   She then decided to have us reroof the area and install new flashing, which added more time to the job. Then, due to the water and excessive cat urine, she decided she wanted us to remove the first two foot of drywall throughout the bedroom and closet.  I then told her it would take an additional 2 to 3 days because the drywall putty would have to dry completely before we could sand and finish those areas.  Needless to say, again, this slowed us down on getting other areas of the project completed.   Then she sent us downstairs to the cat room to fix a lock, which we did free of charge. Finally she requested we change out her gutters and downspouts, which she said were installed incorrectly by yet another “bad contractor”.  She then begins to tell me about more horrible contractors she has had at her house.  She said this highly reputable cabinet contractor she hired to replace her kitchen cabinets left her job half done, so we puttied and sanded the wall area and installed a tile “backsplash.  To me, all these “bad contractors” she has had, seems like a pattern with her. We have gone out of our way to work with her and her busy time schedule. As I said earlier, I she was unhappy why didn’t she contact us, and why did she wait 90 days.
