unnecessary rudeness
the overall environment of this store is one of great product selection and variety - overshadowed, however, by the insulting nature of several employees currently in managerial positions. to insult a customer without cause simply because my own knowledge of products far exceeds that of the management at LGS is unwise and inhuman, and will only damage potential business opportunities for LGS. I hope you learn from your error, but that is an unlikely outcome given how erroneous the business practices appear at LGS and Lewis Games.

I have received a letter from you in regards to a [redacted] Well let me 1st start by saying we will not be authorizing a refund for this product for a few reasons starting with it is out side of our return windowSecondly it was not $for the phone but rather $for the phone 1st months bill activation and sim card it was a promotion that Tracfone was running, and he did use 100% of the services and came back for more months of the service it was a bundle deal but if broke down he paid $for the service for the activation fee and $for the sim card which would be like paying only $for the phoneHe also still has the phone even if he would have brought it back in the return window of days nothing would have been returnable you cant return prepaid service anywhereNot even Walmart would return a prepaid cell service The customer stated that he was told the phone was factory unlocked and he did a factory reset and the unlock was removedso the phone was not legally unlocked according to the August public Law 113-STAT 113th congress in Minnesota In response I just have to say that, that law pertains to kill-switch locks such as icloud lock or google lockyou cant legally sell a phone with any of those locks and we dont the phone We sold was a factory refurbished we get from out suppliers The phone that was sold to him was not sold as a carrier unlocked phone.it was as a t-mobile based phone and we put Simple Mobile service on itI explained this to the customer already the reason you can use Simple Mobile on a T-mobile phone is because Simple Mobile in a MVNO of T-mobile therefore authorized to use the T-mobile phone without unlocking the phone This is why I think the customer thought the phone would be unlocked but it was not The customer was trying to use the phone with Boost Mobile I told him that Boost Mobile wouldn't work on that Phone even if he had us unlockedT-Mobile is a GSM based phone and Boost Mobile is a CDMA based phoneMeaning that they physically have different antennas so even if the phone was unlocked it wouldn't work for him This phone cant be returned for $back because he didn't pay $ he paid $for services sim card and activation if he wants to bring back the phone and get $for the phone I would do that as long as he has his account password so we can remove the google account on the phone, when he 1st came back to the store he didn't know the password for the google account, that why we couldn't give him any money for the phone he himself has the very google lock on the phone that makes it illegal to sell the phone as mentioned in the law He provided you with Im sorry that the customer is upset with the phone but you cant buy a product and use it for months and when you get something newjust get all your money back for the 1st item - Josh [redacted]

I have received a letter from you in regards to a [redacted].  Well let me 1st start by saying we will not be authorizing a refund for this product for a few reasons starting with it is out side of our return window. Secondly it was not $99 for the phone but rather $99 for the phone 1st...

months bill activation and sim card.  it was a promotion that Tracfone was running, and he did use 100% of the services and came back for 2 more months of the service.  it was a bundle deal but if broke down he paid $50 for the service 20 for the activation fee and $10 for the sim card.  which would be like paying only $20 for the phone. He also still has the phone.  even if he would have brought it back in the return window of 7 days nothing would have been returnable you cant return prepaid service anywhere. Not even Walmart would return a prepaid cell service.       The customer stated that he was told the phone was factory unlocked and he did a factory reset and the unlock was removed. so the phone was not legally unlocked according to the August 2014 public Law 113-144 128 STAT 1751 113th congress in Minnesota.    In response I just have to say that, that law pertains to kill-switch locks such as icloud lock or google lock. you cant legally sell a phone with any of those locks and we dont the phone We sold  was a factory refurbished we get from out suppliers.  The phone that was sold to him was not sold as a carrier unlocked phone.it was as a t-mobile based phone and we put Simple Mobile service on it. I explained this to the customer already the reason you can use Simple Mobile on a T-mobile phone is because Simple Mobile in a MVNO of T-mobile therefore authorized to use the T-mobile phone.  without unlocking the phone.  This is why I think the customer thought the phone would be unlocked.  but it was not  The customer was trying to use the phone with Boost Mobile I told him that Boost Mobile wouldn't work on that Phone even if he had us unlocked. T-Mobile is a GSM based phone and Boost Mobile is a CDMA based phone. Meaning that they physically have different antennas so even if the phone was unlocked it wouldn't work for him.    This phone cant be returned for $99 back because he didn't pay $99  he paid $79 for services sim card and activation.  if he wants to bring back the phone and get $20 for the phone I would do that as long as he has his account password so we can remove the google account on the phone, when he 1st came back to the store he didn't know the password for the google account, that why we couldn't give him any money for the phone.  he himself has the very google lock on the phone that makes it illegal to sell the phone as mentioned in the law He provided you with.     Im sorry that the customer is upset with the phone but you cant buy a product and use it for months and when you get something new. just get all your money back for the 1st item.     - Josh [redacted]
