Tell us why DD Mechanical ServicesTACLB [redacted] *Tel281-579- Fax 281-579-6878Website DDMScool.com In regards to Mr[redacted] complaint # [redacted] Mr [redacted] did call the night 5:pm of 7/20/requesting serviceHe was told that no tech was available till the morningA call was scheduled for the next morningA technician did go outWe have a receipt that shows what we found wrong with Mr [redacted] ’s HVAC systemThere were multiple issuesWhat the technician found was as follows on his [redacted] and blower The fan motor was not working and bad $ Run cap would need to be replaced if motor was replaced $ Fan motor replay would also need to be replaces $ Thermostat was not securely attached to the wall(new Thermostat install price) $ Heat strips were burned out on Air HandlerStrips were not available being obsolete and would need to be “restrung” which is Labor intensive $ We broke down pricing for better understand and was documentedon the receiptNo price of $was ever mentionedMr [redacted] did call our office concerning on what the pricing wasHe was told this is at market rate or belowHe was told we would only do what he wantedHe did not have to do everythingWe told him at that time if he did not like our pricing he was more than happy to go and get a second opinionHe did not have to use usHe was charged $for the diagnostic He again called was agitated and abusive to the office staffThat the tech that came out was trying to rip him off And should not be working in the A.C business etc He got the motor working by using another”A.Cman”Stating that since he thought the $should be refundedHe was putting a Stop Payment on the Credit Card chargeHe did call later and was much more calm to discuss this issueHe said that he got the problem fixed by another A.CmanThat since it would cost him $to put a stop on a credit card charge, if we could refund his moneyWe do not keep any credit card information from customersHe was told at that time that his $was being returned to him by mailWhich he agreed Regardless, concerning the circumstances there did seem to be a miscommunication between him and DD Mechanical ServicesWe have returned the service and diagnostic fee of $by mail on 7/22/Check # DD Mechanical Services has 1000’s of satisfied customersWe are sorry Mr [redacted] is not one of those DD Mechanical Services here

Mr*** and other parties DD Mechanical Services did briefly discuss this with Mr***. The technician was coming back to do what the plumbers allegedly didMr*** opted to have a plumber do the work of capping the drain pipe. He said he would send us invoices and
documentation concerning this issue. This was done via telephoneWe have not to date received any supporting documentation concerning this at this timeWe have made a through search and show nothing has been received regarding this from the customer.It is our policy not to review any reimbursement issues with out supporting documentation such as invoices from said companiesIf Mr*** has such items (invoices) he needs to send them to us for review. If Mr*** did send this to us and did not received an answer with in a reasonable timeIt would have been better and faster to have made a phone call to see if we received the documentationDD Mechanical Services does not have issues upon paying reasonable repair cost on repair due to us upon being able to review documentationWe are not sure other than the drain line issue what was allegedly doneEven with that we do not know what that cost is.You can send the documents to the address below. Business claims that since repairs were not approved by them nor completed by their approved contractors, they will not reimburse any monies associated with repairs.

morning. A call was scheduled for the next morning. A technician did go out. We have a receipt that shows what we found wrong with Mr. [redacted]’s HVAC system. There were multiple issues. What the technician found was as follows on his [redacted] and blower 1.      The fan motor was not working and bad                                       $ 350.002.      Run cap would need to be replaced if motor was replaced              $ 250.003.      Fan motor replay would also need to be replaces                          $ 250.004.      Thermostat was not securely attached to the wall(new Thermostat install price)                                     ...        $ 200.005.      Heat strips were burned out on Air HandlerStrips were not available being obsolete and would need to be “restrung” which is Labor intensive.                                   ...                               $ 800.00 We broke down pricing for better understand and was documentedon the receipt. No price of $2500.00 was ever mentioned. Mr. [redacted] did call our office concerning on what the pricing was. He was told this is at market rate or below. He was told we would only do what he wanted. He did not have to do everything. We told him at that time if he did not like our pricing he was more than happy to go and get a second opinion. He did not have to use us. He was charged $80.00 for the diagnostic He again called was agitated and abusive to the office staff. That the tech that came out was trying to rip him off.  And should not be working in the A.C business etc… He got the motor working by using another”A.C. man”. Stating that since he thought the $80.00 should be refunded. He was putting a Stop Payment on the Credit Card charge. He did call later and was much more calm to discuss this issue. He said that he got the problem fixed by another A.C. man. That since it would cost him $50.00 to put a stop on a credit card charge, if we could refund his money. We do not keep any credit card information from customers. He was told at that time that his $80.00 was being returned to him by mail. Which he agreed.  Regardless, concerning the circumstances there did seem to be a miscommunication between him and DD Mechanical Services. We have returned the service and diagnostic fee of $80.00 by mail on 7/22/2016 Check # 7172. DD Mechanical Services has 1000’s of satisfied customers. We are sorry Mr. [redacted] is not one of those.  DD Mechanical Services   here...

Mr [redacted] refund was mail out certified mail with return receipt request 7/25/2016.Receipt #[redacted] 7/26/2016 Mr [redacted] came to my Home (office) to see wear the money was and that he had not received it. He was told that is was sent via mail. He wanted more information and conversation on why he filed the complaint and was asked politely to leave.Which he complied.
