We received your letter today regarding the customer that had a complaintThe customer has requested a specific stylist whom she sawWe clean our tools on a daily basisYes there was a dog in the salon at the time, with its owner, in which the customer complimentedWe have been in business for almost years and have never received a complaint of this caliberWe strive in having a comfortable environment for our customers and our stylist clean the salonThe client requested for a specific amount be cut and the stylist showed her the amount before she beganThe television was on because it was a Saturday and there was football game being aired The child was in the back of the salon with its parent watching a cartoon, so there was no sleep going onThere were no other customers waitingThe customer had a heat protectant applied to her hair and also had said she was going to go home and wash her hair anywayShe immediately called to complain, we apologized and asked her is she would like to be completely reimbursed, tip includedI also asked her if there was anything else we could offer her, and nothing was statedWhen the customer came in, I was able to look at her hair to see that her was absolutely not fried and several inches were not cutHer hair looked bouncy and healthyShe was fully reimbursed, and did not request any extra compensation, with that being said, we believe and our policy that extra compensation is not to be givenWe throughly enjoy our customers and appreciate each and everyone of themThe fact the she was referred to our salon, I'm assuming by a friend or colleague shows that our business isn't bad like she is portrayingOnce again my apologies to the customerI hope that she is one day happy with her hair again

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
Way more of my hair was cut off than what was shown to meInches were cut off the front of my hair, which was longer than the back of my hair and I specifically stated I didn't want it made evenThe hair brushes were not clean and I found a blonde hair in my hairThe hair brushes should be cleaned after every customer, not once a dayThat is not sanitaryThey put oil in my hair which permanently damaged my hair which is irreversible damageI do not want to get my hair fixed at their salon where they already burned and ruined itIt takes years for my hair to grow back and they didn't listenPutting oil in someone's hair before putting heat on it is completely unacceptableNot speaking to the customer at all throughout their time in the store is unacceptableThis is not about an acquaintance's experience at this business; this is about my experience and how my hair was burned and cut offThis is about how I witnessed unsanitary conditions, the mishandling of hair, and not listening to the customerMy hair is now ruined and I have to pay to go get it treated at another hair salon because it is dry and burned.
