It took Months to get an order of incontinence supplies started for my son On 9/24/2015, received a supply On October 20, 2015, I called in to re-order, they told me my insurance company doesn't cover incontinence supplies and that Medicaid is not in their network Asked them why they didn't notify me when they found out Kathy said, "I don't know" Told them they were incompetent on incontinence supplies and very unprofessional Never againI hung up the phone I have to go through the same process all over again The worst company I have ever experienced and I hope it's the last They do not know what the right arm is doing They do not communicate with each department and their customers This should be a smooth process for anyone that has to go through this It's disgusting the way I was treated in order to get supplies I needed for my son and then telling me months later that it wasn't covered They should be ashamed of themselves and all the departments should take a training course on processing orders, communication, and treating people with dignity
Used them once, discovered their supplies are not covered under our insurance and they continue to call us night and day after many attempts to tell them that we simply are not and never will be interested in their product
Is this harassment or what?
After calling us times do they think we will have an interest? Are the crazy?
I was looking at a few companies to order my supplies from after my emergency colostomy.Received all the usual samples from the potential suppliers.
I decided to go with Liberator Medical. Big mistake!!!! Don't do it!!!! The sales person told me that because I was covered by Medicare there would be no out of pocket costs.
So I placed my first order. Then my second one some time later, then a third and so on. About six months into this process I received a bill for over $500.00 !!!! I sent a message (of complaint) via the online link, no response.
I called via telephone and just couldn't seem to be put through to a viable person with the authority to discuss this, they were all salespeople? I wrote a physical letter. Still nothing. But I kept receiving calls from sales reps for a reorder.
I continued to explain myself to these callers, to no avail. I had sufficient supplies to sustain my needs so I shifted into neutral and let Liberator come to me. Finally, I received a "late" notice. On this document was a number to call, I did.
I explained the situation to somebody in billing. To no avail. I asked why did you wait 5 or 6 months to bill me some ridiculous overcharges? Why was I being billed in the first place?
Medicare was paying them thousands! I will spare all you potential customers a lot of frustration and anguish. It was one undesirable conversation. Turns out that this is a family owned business with enormous internal problems.
Nobody is on the same page. I severed my relations with Liberator and began paying off the gouging (overcharges) issue. I'm still being contacted by sales reps for a reorder! Just received a call yesterday, which prompted this review.
Save yourself a lot of mental anguish.Order your supplies from another supplier!!!
Liberator Medical has been furnishing me with catheters since Medicare began approving them. I have experienced total satisfaction and would rate Liberator's performance as "exceeds expectations". Liberator has made my life easier, more secure and helped me to manage my unfortunate condition.
