Complaint ID# [redacted] Liberty Air has not done any wrong in this complaintWe were sent to this residence last year for a Choice Home Warranty service call stating that her A/C was leaking causing damage to her sheetrockWhen the technician arrived he determined that the drain line was clogged up It was turned in to the warranty company and was denied due to the lack of maintenance in her systemClogged drain lines are never covered through this warranty companyAfter the claim was denied, the home owner wanted the technician to proceed with clearing out the drain line to stop the water from leaking into her homeIt was explained to her as it is explained to anyone with the denied claim, that if you would like us to move forward there will be additional charges added to that service feeIf the claim would have been covered by the warranty company, the service fee would have been $Since it was not covered, she was responsible for any charges incurred after thatLiberty Air normally charges $for clogged drain line to be cleared outShe was never overchargedShe was actually undercharged $as a good will gestureThe technician collected $that day instead of $just to be nice and show that she is appreciated and recognized as a retired veteranThere have not been any bad business practices by Liberty AirWe try our best to work with customers in every way to get them cooled off and have never had any complaintsWe have not ever ripped anyone off and are definately not in cahoots with any warranty companyWe do not appreciate this person slandering our company name as she hasI am sorry she feels like we have done her wrong in this matter, we have notThere will be no refund issued to her.Liberty Air [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Firstly, they did not know I was a Veteran until I filed the complaint with the Revdex.comSecondly, it was only a clogged drain and as a courtesy this is what they told meThey also told me that I could use bleach to keep the drain clearThank youBut they could have reported that same information to Choice and I would not have had to wait for the repaired from ChoiceIt's a simple as thatI don't expect any favors because I am a Veteran; all I expect is to be treated with respectThere are hundreds of companies in the Central Texas arena that over-charge and gauge Military or retired Military because they know that they are going to get itAll I ask is that we (I) am treated justly Regards, [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: Firstly, they did not know I was a Veteran until I filed the complaint with the Revdex.com. Secondly, it was only a clogged drain and as a courtesy this is what they told me. They also told me that I could use bleach to keep the drain clear. Thank you. But they could have reported that same information to Choice and I would not have had to wait for the repaired from Choice. It's a simple as that. I don't expect any favors because I am a Veteran; all I expect is to be treated with respect. There are hundreds of companies in the Central Texas arena that over-charge and gauge Military or retired Military because they know that they are going to get it. All I ask is that we (I) am treated justly.

We were sent to this residence last year for a Choice Home Warranty service call stating that her A/C was leaking causing damage to her sheetrock. When the technician arrived he determined that the drain line was clogged up....

It was turned in to the warranty company and was denied due to the lack of maintenance in her system. Clogged drain lines are never covered through this warranty company. After the claim was denied, the home owner wanted the technician to proceed with clearing out the drain line to stop the water from leaking into her home. It was explained to her as it is explained to anyone with the denied claim, that if you would like us to move forward there will be additional charges added to that service fee. If the claim would have been covered by the warranty company, the service fee would have been $45.00. Since it was not covered, she was responsible for any charges incurred after that. Liberty Air normally charges $112.50 for clogged drain line to be cleared out. She was never overcharged. She was actually undercharged $47.50 as a good will gesture. The technician collected $65.00 that day instead of $112.50 just to be nice and show that she is appreciated and recognized as a retired veteran. There have not been any bad business practices by Liberty Air. We try our best to work with customers in every way to get them cooled off and have never had any complaints. We have not ever ripped anyone off and are definately not in cahoots with any warranty company. We do not appreciate this person slandering our company name as she has. I am sorry she feels like we have done her wrong in this matter, we have not. There will be no refund issued to her.Liberty Air[redacted]
