We were unaware of Ms [redacted] name change after the vehicle purchase occurred in FebruaryWe apologize for the confusion as we attempted to find her file under her last name (as well as checking the phone number and email) as listed under the Revdex.com complaint with no luckWe were also unaware of these issues until receiving this complaint and finding her review on [redacted] The shop we referred her to confirmed that she had called regarding the air conditioning issueThey quoted a price far lower for out-of-warranty work than what Ms [redacted] ultimately paid at the shop of her choiceIf Ms [redacted] had spoken to management at the dealership, we would have tried to work with her, even though we are not obligated to fix the air conditioning at our cost when it breaks over 5-months after purchaseWe are committed to helping our customers when unforeseen issues arise, even if they did not purchase a extended warranty, when we are given the opportunityHowever, Ms [redacted] never contacted management at the dealership to discuss this issueAdditionally, we reviewed the repairs that are listed on the CarFax reportThey seem excessive based on our records of the vehicle’s condition at the time of saleWe cannot be responsible for the repairs that are recommended or the rates that are charged by another shopPlease let us know if there are further questions on this matter

when I bought the [redacted] back in February my last name was [redacted] This response from your company is rediculasI have all my paperwork from the suv I purchased from your companyThis is outrageous that you think I would think you were another company and goes to show the Revdex.com how your company should not have a high rating with themIn your records it would show how many times someone had to call for even the plate for the SUV unless you do this to a lot of your customers and can't remember what one you have done this toYou took advantage of a single mother looking for a safe vehicle for her children and herselfYou people have been no help with my A.Cgoing out and Don said "oh it worked for a week" when it went out in 120° weatherYour company is disrespectful to women and act like we don't know what we are talking aboutNow you can find my [redacted] I bought in February and refund me the it took for me to put in a new air compressor from black death and a new readiator that you had me talk to your mechanic about fixing that couldn't even get me in

Per our Discussion with MrCo [redacted] It is our company policy not to finalize title work until all down payments are made in fullMrC***l had a Differed down payment he agreed to that was to be paid on 02/11/and after several phone calls he stated he would not be able to make it then and was waiting on a bonus to appearTo date MrCorral still has not completed his down payment as agreed on the bill of sale and with a promissory note from the time of sale (He only had $of the $at the time of sale that was required to get the loan). At this time we have already completed all title work and sent proof of such to MrC [redacted] and are still currently seeking the remaining down payment to be paid as contractually agreed by MrCorral

I understand that at the time of auction they may not have kown about the mileage discrepancy, but I guarantee they knew about it upon the time I had purchased the truckFor a dealership to not know and not have run a car fax after having the truck a month is very unlikelyAnd that is not true that a bank will not finance a vehicle with high milesDavid C [redacted] had told me [redacted] specializes in work Trucks with higher miles, and is most likely to finance me because the Truck was older and had 178,milesI have already filed a title complaint and had a class inspection done and sent to the attorney generalFor a dealership with ‘professionals’ to let something this big go un noticed is not likely

In regards to this complaintWe apologize if this was associated with us, we have no record of this complaint We checked our records both by this customers name , phone number, and email address and have no record of any customer by this name or information ever purchasing a car from usWe often
get mistaken with other dealerships that were in our location prior to us or have a similar namePlease provide proof of purchase of a vehicle from us so we can accurately research and respond to this issue

you most know something I don't! I never said anything about a starterand make up your mind, was it passioncars and trucks that sold me the truck or was ut you? Cause it has your pathetic name all over the paperwork! You guys have been nothing but nasty and rud with meSaying I can take it to your mechanic, for what!! So they can tell what a piece of st isI spent dollars so I wouldn't have to worry about breaking down drove it for two and a half months and its been in the shop ever sinceWhy don't you come pick it up and work on it

Regarding Mr*** complaint, there are several details that should be providedAs stated, Mr*** purchased the truck on 1/11/at our Phoenix locationHe then immediately drove the truck to his home in *** ***, MexicoAt the time of sale, we explained to Mr*** that we warranty
the vehicle to be fit for drivability for days or miles, whichever comes firstThis is in accordance with the State of Arizona "Implied Warranty" on all used vehicles sold through a motor vehicle dealerMr*** also purchased an extended service contract that could be used to cover repair costs for up to years or 36,miles from the date of purchase for covered componentsFurther, Mr*** also agreed to pay a deferred down payment of $that was due on 2/11/in order to secure optimal financing through a credit unionWe have yet to receive that paymentWhen we received his first call on or around 03/26/2017, Mr*** claimed that we deceived him as to the condition of the vehicleOur warranty was long past expiration at that timeDespite this, we offered to have our shop look at it, but he must pay the balance due and transport it here from New MexicoHe refusedDuring later calls, Mr*** claimed that he spent over $2,replacing several parts including a starter, and the truck would still not startWe advised him to pursue a refund from his mechanic for misdiagnosing the issue. We also advised him to make use of the extended service contract he purchased and see if it would cover the repairsMr*** continues to claim we sold him a “lemon”We understand that some used vehicles may have unforeseen repair issuesWe have attempted to resolve this situation with our own resources, even in consideration of Mr*** refusal to pay the down payment owedWe have gone above and beyond what is required to satisfy this customerIn consideration of everything discussed, we do not believe that this complaint is valid

Per our Discussion with Mr. Co[redacted] It is our company policy not to finalize title work until all down payments are made in full. Mr. C[redacted]l had a Differed down payment he agreed to that was to be paid on 02/11/2017 and after several phone calls he stated he would not be able to make it then and was...

waiting on a bonus to appear. To date Mr. Corral still has not completed his down payment as agreed on the bill of sale and with a promissory note from the time of sale (He only had $200 of the $500 at the time of sale that was required to get the loan). At this time we have already completed all title work and sent proof of such to Mr. C[redacted] and are still currently seeking the remaining down payment to be paid as contractually agreed by Mr. Corral.

Hi [redacted], Below is our official response. In regards to the complaint by [redacted], to our knowledge the carfax did not show this mileage discrepancy at time of sale. We would never knowingly cover up something like this and a free car fax is available upon request on any car on our lot and always...

free on our website and has been that way for years with our company. As we speak you can select any car on our website and get the complete free carfax report. The title shows the correct miles from time of sale and previous owner as well as an Auction purchase inspection provided to us before we bought the truck used, all consistent with the miles we stated when [redacted] bought the truck. The bank would never have financed the loan if it was a TMU title. Attached are copies of the auction buy slip, pre purchase inspection from the auction that sold us the truck, and title all stating the Truck was at roughly the same miles as it was sold to [redacted] with. In our experience this is not the first time that Carfax has added data to a vehicle several months or several years after a transaction and while we always do our best to ensure the best cars, we can not be liable for Carfaxs policy's regarding when the add data etc. We understand [redacted]'s frustration as we are just as frustrated by the situation and explained all of this to him when he came to see us regarding this issue several weeks ago. As Always if there is any additional questions please free to contact us. Best Regards,Dana L[redacted]General ManagerLiberty Cars and TrucksGlendale Used Cars and Trucks[redacted]

when I bought the 2010 [redacted] back in February my last name was [redacted]. This response from your company is rediculas. I have all my paperwork from the suv I purchased from your company. This is outrageous that you think I would think you were another company and goes to show the Revdex.com how your company should not have a high rating with them. In your records it would show how many times someone had to call for even the plate for the SUV unless you do this to a lot of your customers and can't remember what one you have done this to. You took advantage of a single mother looking for a safe vehicle for her children and herself. You people have been no help with my A.C. going out and Don said "oh it worked for a week" when it went out in 120° weather. Your company is disrespectful to women and act like we don't know what we are talking about. Now you can find my 2010 [redacted] I bought in February and refund me the 1100 it took for me to put in a new air compressor from black death and a new readiator that you had me talk to your mechanic about fixing that couldn't even get me in.

We were unaware of Ms. [redacted] name change after the vehicle purchase occurred in February. We apologize for the confusion as we attempted to find her file under her last name (as well as checking the phone number and email) as listed under the Revdex.com complaint with no luck. We were also unaware of these issues until receiving this complaint and finding her review on [redacted]. The shop we referred her to confirmed that she had called regarding the air conditioning issue. They quoted a price far lower for out-of-warranty work than what Ms. [redacted] ultimately paid at the shop of her choice. If Ms. [redacted] had spoken to management at the dealership, we would have tried to work with her, even though we are not obligated to fix the air conditioning at our cost when it breaks over 5-6 months after purchase. We are committed to helping our customers when unforeseen issues arise, even if they did not purchase a extended warranty, when we are given the opportunity. However, Ms. [redacted] never contacted management at the dealership to discuss this issue. Additionally, we reviewed the repairs that are listed on the CarFax report. They seem excessive based on our records of the vehicle’s condition at the time of sale. We cannot be responsible for the repairs that are recommended or the rates that are charged by another shop. Please let us know if there are further questions on this matter.

I understand that at the time of auction they may not have kown about the mileage discrepancy, but I guarantee they knew about it upon the time I had purchased the truck. For a dealership to not know and not have run a car fax after having the truck a month is very unlikely. And that is not true that a bank will not finance a vehicle with high miles. David C[redacted] had told me [redacted] specializes in work Trucks with higher miles, and is most likely to finance me because the Truck was older and had 178,000 miles. I have already filed a title complaint and had a class 1 inspection done and sent to the attorney general. For a dealership with ‘professionals’ to let something this big go un noticed is not likely.

As mentioned before we strive to disclose as much as possible and always offer the carfax on every vehicle we sell. At this point we are not sure the data on the carfax showing this mileage discrepancy was on listed at the time of sale and we are investigating that.In regards to the claim regarding the bank financing the vehicle, it was stated in our previous response that the bank would have never financed the vehicle if the car was a "TMU" branded title as  [redacted]  stated it had in his original complaint. " This truck now has the title of 'True Miles Unknown' so this truck is not worth very much at all. I feel deceived, and had been greatly cheated and had advantage taken of." As shown in the previous response the truck does not have a TMU title, and [redacted] did in fact say that we had credit unions that would finance high miles, but never said we have credit unions that will finance a TMU title. In closing as stated before we always try and disclose a title issue any time we are aware of it, I have included a link below of a vehicle currently listed on our website that has a branded title, showing how it is clearly disclosed and carfax is available. We will continue to investigate with the State of arizona and carfax how this discrepancy occurred and will advise if any new info becomes available. http://www.libertycarsandtrucks.com/auto/used-2012-chevrolet-silvera... Had a great experience with Liberty Auto especially when compared to dealing initially with a franchise [redacted] dealership ([redacted]). Not shocking to probably anyone but the big-box dealerships still try to get sales through "deceptive and false leaders". [redacted] had a brand new 2015 [redacted] on sale for $16,000 (base model). We were perfectly fine with a base model and went in ready to buy with paperwork in-hand showing the EXACT car we were looking to purchase - right down to the VIN, advertised price and other vehicle info as provided on their very own online inventory. Long story short after hours of them trying to sell us other used cars and other new cars, they finally showed us the base vehicle we came in for. After test drive, we sat done ready to buy and her came the shock: $16,000 yes but tax is calculated on MSRP of $19,000, plus their “paint protection package” was another $3,000 plus their other dealer fees it came out to almost $23,000. BS and especially on this so called “paint protection package” that you cannot opt out of. After hours wasted at this dealership we stumbled upon Liberty Cars & Autos on [redacted] while looking for a [redacted]. When all was said and done, we ultimately bought the exact one we found online from Liberty and I cannot say it enough about how pleased and presently surprised we were with our dealings with Liberty – specifically with Bill over the phone and with Dana for the finalization of the buy. SOLID, UPFRONT and no hidden agendas during this purchase. Sorry for the long story but wanted to tell everyone WHY it was so refreshing to deal with Liberty who came at it with honesty and not hidden fees. Thanks again Liberty (Dana & Bill). [redacted]

I will never buy a car from anyone besides Liberty Cars. My experience was fast and easy. [redacted] helped me get in an amazing car that I love. I would highly reccomend Liberty Car to everyone. This place treats you like family and I really appreciate everything they did for me.

Service was professional, friendly, and honest. I would definitely recommend it.

These guys really worked with us and were extremely kind. We would refer them to anyone, anytime. Keep in mind when looking at the cars on their lot, they have not yet been detailed. Once you find the car that meets your needs and are ready to purchase, they will then detail it. Have an issue with a vehicle you like on the lot? Just tell them and they will work with you to get it fixed prior to sale. We went in skeptics and came out friends, with the perfect vehicle at a perfect price :o)

A pretty straight forward no nonsense buying experience.

In the course of 3 hours I looked at vehicles test drove, and financing was approved. Delivery was scheduled at a mutually agreed upon time.

Would definitely consider purchasing from Liberty Cars and Trucks again.

Very nice experience

I had a very good experience here at liberty cars and trucks. I was able to purchase a truck at a reasonable price. The sales people were very nice and financing was very easy. I truly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a used car or truck
