Liberty Crossing Apartments Reviews (3)

The office staff are lazy, asking for repairs in the apartment is just a waste of time, roof leaks, floors literally shift under your feet if you have a up stairs apartment, when I lived there they allowed for birds to live in the wall out side of the kitchen windowThe AC unit leaked and created mold which blew all over the apartmentThere were big stains on the ceiling where the leaks that I reported continued to grow due to neglectThis place is SLUMLORD living at its most expensiveYou hear every door shut in neighboring apartments, street lights have been out in the parking lots for almost a year now so the parking lot is darkMost importantly, not one person that works for *** cares about you as a residentThey prove that when you move out

Kingdom Strollers are amazing! We were at WDW and our stroller got a flat tire the morning of day of our 6-day trip They don't offer stroller repair services, but took pity on a family from Iowa staying on WDW property with no rental car or local knowledge of how to get it repaired I called at about 9:at night and by 6:the next morning they had not only found me a tire (they don't rent my style of stroller, so I have no idea how he found me one) but had installed it on my stroller That is customer service! I can't give them enough stars to justify how we feel about this company

multiple construction problems that were documented upon move in and not fixed, then got worse due to not being fixed leading to further damage. When moving into our current apartment at liberty crossing in Jacksonville on 11/23/2014, we documented multiple problems as instructed to do upon our arrival, nothing was taken care of. Our first problem being our kitchen flooding, due do pipe issues, maintenance came and poured acid down the drains we were then told it was fixed, a week later again our kitchen flooded and again the same thing was done, when the kitchen flooded a third time we called to complain because at this point the pipes behind the sink were flooding the carpet in the closet of our guest room, after complaining again plumbers were called to look at why our kitchen was flooding. The plumbers assessment was that acid was harmful to the pipes, they gained access to look at the pipes behind the sink from our guest room closet and upon inspection of the pipes behind the sink they saw that a pipe was completely broken allowing water to soak the wood and our carpet, after the plumbers left we heard nothing from our apartment complex until I called repeatedly for a week. At this point we were highly concerned with the linoleum kitchen flooring bubbling up and allowing water underneath creating a safety hazard. Then our apartment sent one of their maintenance men to replace the pipe and assess the floor, at this point when he came to replace the section of broken pipe I also asked him to look at the bubbling in our bathroom ceiling we noticed cracking and the bubbling in the ceiling which concerned us. We were told that there was previous water damage but it had been "sucked out, dried and patched" he then moved back into our guest closet to fix the broken pipe. He then cut out apart of the wall to gain "better access" then left the wall open and exposed and told us the floor would be taken care of, and that is how it was left and that is how it has remained for the past two weeks and how it is currently as of 2/09/2015. Upon review of the wall we noticed what appeared to be mold in the wood of the exposed wall. While trying to communicate with the property manager about our concerns and our anger we were insulted and hung up on. That being the last contact we had made with the property manager before filing this complaint.Desired SettlementThe settlement that we are seeking is an end to our current lease contract, along with a refund of the months rent we paid while issues were being improperly dealt with.Business Response Contact Name and Title: [redacted] Asst MgrContact Phone: [redacted]Contact Email: [redacted]After receiving the message I immediately called and set up and appointment with the resident, for that same day, to inspect their apartment. The broken pipe and access panel have already been repaired. As a precaution the wood prior to sealing up the wall was properly treated 2x. I did find the vinyl in kitchen needed to be replaced due to it curling up from the water damage however, there was no other further damage that we found. The vinyl was scheduled with the resident and is being installed on Monday 2/16/15 and her bathroom ceiling will be fixed tomorrow 2/13/15 (although there are no major issues with her bathroom ceiling); it had some previous water damage that caused the ceiling to bow out some. A contractor will be replacing the drywall, mudding and will texture when complete. I will continue to stay in contact with the residents to ensure all work has been completed. Consumer Response Yes, the manager did come and look at the apartment however in her response I have some discrepancies, first off, with the wall. Yes a panel was screwed over the hole and it was sprayed with a chemical to kill and treat the mold however that to me is a temporary fix, to me fixing it would be re patching to wall so there is no hole. Secondly the bathroom, when the manager responded with the bathroom will be fixed 2/13/15 is false. I was told a contractor would come to look at the ceiling on 2/13/15 but I was also told that it would be a 3-4 day job to fix the ceiling and in that time we would not be able to use our shower in the bathroom and to us with that being our only shower is unacceptable. So yes a contractor may be looking at our ceiling tomorrow it won't be "fixed" tomorrow, and to say there is no major damage to the bathroom ceiling is untrue The manager and maintanence man both told me that there was previous water damage but that the water damage was fixed, however if it had been fixed properly there should be no bowing in the ceiling and the ceiling should not be crumbling and cracking the way it is, so to me I am more concerned with the bathroom than she seems to be at this point.Final Business Response The statement that her ceiling was going to completed on 2/13/15 was not false. In fact her ceiling is now completed with the exception of it being painted. The wife was home and had told the contractor that painting the ceiling was not important and not needed therefore he left. I then advised him that if it was going to be fixed that all repairs needed to completed which included the ceiling. I then called her and let her know that he would be back out on Monday to paint her ceiling. She has full access to the entire apartment and bathroom. As for the access panel after seeing her concern about it, within the second written complaint. I called her and let her know that, that solution for the paneling was not a temporary fix and the access panel would have to stay incase there was any future problems with the piping. She said " ok that makes sense" I spoke to her while she was home this morning and her husband while he was on speaker phone and asked if they had any other issues that needed to be addressed. They said "no everything seems to be ok now the major concern was the bathroom". I said ok if you need anything please let me know she was ok and seemed to fine when I left.
