Theft by South Lake Tahoe linemans wife
Liberty Utilities was recently contacted regarding South Lake Tahoe lineman, Martin Radekin's wife, Patricia Radekin stealing valuable items which are now in their home. Liberty Utilities and Martin Radekin were informed of this and chose to ignore it.
El Dorado County Sheriff's Department is now investigating the theft.

I am rejecting this response because:
Since the incident we have moved out of state and have lost more than $worth of food in our refrigerator due to the liberty energy making a billing error and shutting off our services for entire day even though we paid the amount in question the customer service representative did not believe me that I had paid the bill and made me drive all the way to their office while our power was off and our food was spoilingI am not going to agree to anything less than a $compensation

We will not be able to provide any compensation for the customer's losses without the claim form completed to detail the items lostI attached the claim form here and I've mailed a claim form to the customer via certified mail

Review: On Tuesday, August 19th, 2014 I stopped by the Main Liberty Utilities Office In South Lake Tahoe, CA and paid $112.39 with my debit card for the past due amount and received a stamped receipt from the customer service representative.On Monday, August 25th, 2014 when I returned home at 3:20 PM after being away for an entire day I noticed that all of the power in my house had been turned off. I called the Main Liberty Utilities Telephone Number 1800-782-2506 and spoke to [redacted] or [redacted] (Not sure of the spelling)she never identified herself but I believe that she was an office Manager at the South Lake Tahoe Liberty Utilities Office933 Eloise Ave South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150 Phone number (530) 543-5235. I explained to [redacted] that I have paid the past due amount of $112.39 on August 19th and was really not sure why all of the electricity was turned off. [redacted]s response was that she would have to verify her records and check receipts. I provided [redacted] with the receipt number since I was holding it I my hands but she did not believe me and still insisted that I needed to stop by the office. When I stopped by the office 20 minutes later and presented her with the receipt [redacted]e simply apologized and stated that the service would be restored in approximately one hours and that I would get a $25.00 credit for their (Liberty Utilities Error and inconvenience). I explained to [redacted] that I had a lot of food in the refrigerator which spoiled during the service interruption and would need to be replaced and she simply stated that I needed to fill out more forms if I wanted any further compensatin. I am requesting that I am to be compensated $250.00 for the erroneous service interruption which was caused by Liberty Utilities which caused all of my food, which included a lot of seafood to spoil.Desired Settlement: I am requesting that I am to be compensated $250.00 for the erroneous service interruption which was caused by Liberty Utilities which caused all of my food, which included a lot of seafood to spoil, therefore I will not accept anything less than $250.00 for compensation. Furthermore I would like an explanation why [redacted] Office Administrator did not believe me when I told her over the phone that I had the paid receipt in my hand and made me drive all the way to their main office.
