Broken drawer pull, manufacturer won't help me find a replacement part....
After six years of use, one of my Liberty Furniture dresser drawer pulls broke at the hinge point. I was not terribly upset at this, as the drawer pulls are actually "pot metal" in appearance. And, they do get a lot of use. So metal fatigue was not out of the ordinary over time.

The furniture is obviously out of warranty, so I spent a lot of time looking locally and on the internet, to try and find a replacement. As I was unsuccessful, I contacted Liberty Furniture (via E-mail) to ask where I could find one. They suggested that I source the part locally (didn't I already try that?). And they also told me that they only supply parts for furniture under warranty. I wasn't looking for a free part, I just wanted to know where I could buy one !

After several useless E-mail communications from them, I received no help in finding out where they source their parts. So-I phoned them directly, and left a message at the contact number noted in their E-mails. Nothing but dead silence from their end...and they obviously won't give up any of their replacement parts on hand in the US. I suspect I will have to call their Vietnam factory, to try and track down a replacement drawer pull !

Obviously, they have blown me off, and they are completely oblivious to customer support and satisfaction. Telling me where I could get a replacement part would have been a simple act of courtesy. They got my money once, but will not have me as a customer again.

Review: On June [redacted] I went to Liberty furniture (license # [redacted]) and ordered a sofa & loveseat model Unity which was for 4 recliners with cup holder, the 2 furniture pieces were $899, I paid an extra $100 to have them in leather instead of fabric. On June [redacted] they made a delivery for boxes marked Elegance, I immediately opened the boxes and found out that the wrong furniture had been delivered. I walker over to the furniture store and spoke to [redacted], I explained what happened and showed him what I ordered and showed him a picture of what was delivered. I showed him my receipt and he said the sales person had made a mistake and that the furniture I wanted would cost me an extra $500. I told him to send the delivery guy to pick up the pieces they delivered and he refused, stating I was stuck with the furniture and if I wanted they would give 20% off next purchase.

I asked to speak to [redacted] of the store and he was called on his cell phone and he basically told me that I had to keep the furniture I had at home or pay him $500 to switch to the pieces I originally paid for. I asked for a refund and he refused, saying that if I wanted I could take him to court.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive the furniture I ordered or receive a refund of my $999.99 I paid cash for the Unity set with cup holders. I do not see this as being my mistake and have to get stuck with furniture I do not like or paid for because [redacted] refuses to exchange or refund my money. please help me resolve this problem as promptly as possible since I have the unwanted furniture sitting in my living room, thank you in advance for the help you will provide regarding this matter.

Review: We (me and my wife) bought some pieces of furniture from Liberty Furniture and after payment has been made, they told us the furniture will be delivered on thursday of the following week. They call us on Tuesday of the delivery week telling us that the furnitures we picked are not in stock and the store has no cash refund policy so we should pick something else which I did not agreed to but my wife did. After talking to my wife, we came back the next day which was Wednesday to pick a different set. We did pick something else and they told us that it will take 8 weeks to be delivered so wee should pick a different color which they have in stock. We agreed to it and they then asked us to pay $150 which I said no. I then asked them to give me my money back and they said no, and I can take them to whoever, wherever I want to take them. All I want is my money back.Desired Settlement: I think the business should refund me my money since it was their mistake not mine.
