Review: The aforementioned business, now located at L G Collectables (aka, Liberty Gold) , [redacted], took payment of $4125.00 for the purchase of 3 ounces of certified pure gold bullion the past August **, 2013. After numerous contacts with them to include our Bank (Chase) getting involved, they were unable to provide the gold as advertised . They attempted to suggest they would substitute other forms of gold, none of which met the value or criteria initially agreed upon. Although the salesman ([redacted]) that handled the phone purchase he initiated, has openly attempted to have his [redacted] return our funds , the [redacted]) has stalled the refund process, To include his recent excuses that "the check is in the mail", "he is short of funds and would only be able to make a partial refund of $1,125.00 at this time and the balance of $3000.00 at the end of the following week", "He sent the $1,125 .00 check, but it was returned to him because he had put the wrong zip code on the envelope", "he recently tied up all his money purchasing/placing a large order for the new 2014 certified gold and silver, for resale, that is just coming out", "he just took in some checks and credit card payments and was going to the bank to see about sending out the full refund and would call us back", and now this past Saturday wherein he stated that he had been in Albany, NY all week and thought that a check had been mailed out and he would go into his office and check out what happened and would call us right back".

Suffice to say they never return the calls as promised and we are forced to call them again and again every week ( over 80 times in all over the past six months). Attempts by boyhood Chase Bank Customer Service /Security and my wife and I, have met with stall after stall . A certified letter requesting payment that was generated on October **, 2013 has only generated the aforementioned verbal responses and admissions of their debt to us, but nothing in the way of money or a written response stating the plan for refunding of our funds .

Note: Although LG Collectables (Liberty Gold) is listed at their old address in your search options, It has been and remains at the East Meadow Address for at least a year or more and obviously during my entire transaction with them . I was forced to use the search results you provided because your records need to be updated and it was apparently the only way to file this complaint. The salesman identified that they moved from the old address because they needed more space, so your records should reflect that it is the same business but at a new address and listed with LG Collectables (gold and silver sales and [redacted] Shop). Further note that the salesman ([redacted]) called me to offer the pure solid gold bullion due to his knowledge of me through a prior sale to me, when he was working for Eastern Numismatics and we never received the gold nor an invoice in return for our check (funds) being sent to them using their "white glove" FedEx pickup service and prepaid mail service/account .Desired Settlement: Return our funds as repeatedly promised and to do so in a timely manner, which is obviously now.
