I was disappointed with the service from Liberty Helicopters on 5/31/18 as we waiting from 9.30am-11.30am on the off chance we could still do it and fair enough it was not safe. We provisionally booked for 2pm and went to 9/11 museum. We were told to ring back at 1.30pm to clarify the situation. We rang at 1pm as we were conscious of getting there in time as we were still at the museum and were told to ring back at 1.30pm. We did several times but no one picked up. We then got a taxi there as we were pushed for time to check and were told it was shut and everyone had gone home. We wasted 65 dollars in total on the cab and readmittance to the 9/11 museum when if we had been given a straight answer at 1.00pm or someone had phoned us at 1.30pm to inform us (we left our number), we would have stayed in the museum. Also, I have still not been refunded for this (2 people) but this is because I had to go back to Times Square to get the refund and have been chasing this up with them since I got back. It would be much easier to be refunded at the helicopter office for customers. Gutted as I am sure the ride would have been fantastic.

Review: Other passengers who were sitting in the same helicopter like us paid less than we did (we paid for the more expensive tour called "New York - New York). Right after the ride, I talked to the [redacted] about this unfair issue. He simply said to us that he can upgrade anybody he wants and that he fulfilled his duty to us. I agree that he fulfilled his duty to us in terms of time spent in the air, but the other guests had to pay far less than we. That said, we paid for the other guests.I can not accept this cheating attempt. Liberty Helicopter should refund us the money we paid too much because they did not mention to us that we could get upgraded (as the other passengers got. If an upgrade is possible, they should have told us when we bought the ticket at the tour counter in our Hotel (Holiday Inn). Instead, they just hope that some passengers pay more, and that passengers do not talk with each other when taking the ride. Above all, we did not even get the front seats (we had to sit in the back).This is a fraud and is misleading to passengers who pay more by expecting a longer tour than less paying passengers. I herewith request a refund and that you can take action.Desired Settlement: US$ 150,-- (2 persons, paying US$ 65,-- each for the better tour). Because this is the amount we paid more than the other passengers in the same Helicopter.
