Our Customer Service department has spoken with this customer to determine exactly what service is needed on his windows. Two IGU glass panels need to be replaced, and the customer would like assistance removing screens. Liberty Home Product’s warranty information was emailed to him as well. Just a...

note, our customer was very pleasant and easy to work with. Our customer’s windows were installed in 2003. As was discussed with our customer, based on the warranty for product installed over ten years ago, labor or costs to remove or install replacement components are not covered. However, Liberty will reimburse the customer for half the cost of the two IGU glass panel replacements. Liberty contacted a glass repair company for an estimate for the work needed, and gave our customer this information and the contact name. Per the estimate, the measure is at no charge, both IGU panels should cost less than $160. Liberty would reimburse half of that cost. Labor and install charges were quoted at $250; the customer understands he is responsible for labor and install charges. The screen issues can be addressed with the installer, as well. Our customer may research other avenues for repair. Once the work is complete, he will email a copy of the invoice to Liberty Home Products, so Liberty can mail him a check for half the cost of the IGU glass panels.
