In [redacted] asked a HVAC contractor for a price to put in air conditioning for her attic room in her houseHe came back with a $6,priceShe said she couldn't afford thatShe asked if there was another way to get air up there and I told her I could try running a existing hose off the a/c unit that was there alreadyI told her it would run off the thermostat downstairs and I wasn't sure it would cool it off sufficiently for the atticShe said "lets try it"when we tested it it blew pretty good, but it was winter and very cold up thereWhen summer came it didn't cool off the room nearly enoughI tried to save her thousands of dollars and it did not workI only charged her $for the job which I have no problem paying her backThe room is still set up so the original A/C contractor can come back and do the job neededAs for the thermostat, I was sending a electrician over with the man to look at the A/C unit to fixWhile the guy was looking at the A/C the electrician was going to switch out the thermostatOn his way there [redacted] sent him a message saying she wanted some paper work but he already left his house so he called her to tell her he would come the next day with the paper work and she got mad at him and told him not to comeI will gladly fix or pay for thermostat to be replaced

I just had an electrician here and he said the wiring with thermostat is a fire hazard and my house could have burnt down it You need to get someone here by the end of the week or else I will defiantly have my attorney get in touch with youThis is extremely dangerous and my son and I could have been seriously injured if something happened here.

***, as I explained to you on the phone, There was no danger with the thermostat wire because the breaker in the electrical panel was turned offWhen I went out to look at the thermostat and a/c I took the thermostat out of wall and turned off breaker because an electrician and a/c man were coming in daysI gave the workers $and was giving them the balance when they finished but *** told them not to come last minuteThey got mad at me for losing the days pay and kept the $I have not heard anything since and figured she got it fixed since it was a small job***

I tried to save her thousands of dollars and it did not work. I only charged her $350 for the job which I have no problem paying her back. The room is still set up so the original A/C contractor can come back and do the job needed. As for the thermostat, I was sending a electrician over with the man to look at the A/C unit to fix.
