Review: A relocation manager came to my home to see the items to be sent from NJ to AZ he promise me that I will receive my items same time that I arrived in AZ but they have to take them 2 weeks before my traveling. I accepted payment was made by credit card (50%) and other 50% upon delivery (credit card). Their workers arrived to my home they told me they were from Egypt, they force me to pay $100 in tips. My items arrived 30 days after I moved to AZ. I called them many times and explaining my situation I was living in a hotel, eating outside, sleeping in the floor, no TV, Internet, no chair to sit, my parrot pet was standing in a broom (no cage) When they arrived my items were completly wet and my boxes opened completely, many items were missing, expensive pictures frames scratched, my new desk in pieces. I found out later that my American Citizenship Certificate LOST I only found its envelope. I complained to Derrick Strus (according to [redacted], the owner ,who also is Egyptian, Derrick is not working anymore) Derrick told me that the truck had a leaking ????. I had to file a report with their insurance which ask to send pictures of the damage file papers which I did and expend as $100 in pictures because they were many items and had to take the pictures in different angles. I had 5 wittness who help me to put the items inside my home. After the workers left my items they demand me that I must to pay them only in cash ??? and they never give me a receipt I called the AZ police who told me that they can not handle that cases.

Their insurance send me a letter explaining me that only they can pay me $114!!!! and plus I have to notarized a letter which describes I can not complain in the media, Revdex.com, internet, etc against their company. I call [redacted] by phone complaining about the ridiculous settlement and at least to give me my forced $100 dollars tip he insisted that he only can give me $50 dollars. I told him that I never used the media, internet to complain about incident.Desired Settlement: To apply for a new American Naturalization Certificate is only $350 plus two pictures. Hotel stay, eating outside for one month, emotional stress. I 'm a 62 years old woman with physical disabilities. I'm worry about my certificate missing not to say that was stolen, as my information in my computer.

I want total refund of my money: $1,500 dollars

Thank you forforwarding this consumers complaint to our attention. We would like to offerthe following response. [redacted] wasadvised that the delivery time frame from New Jersey to Arizona would up to 21business days from the 1st date she would be available to receivedelivery of her shipment which Ms [redacted] indicated was September 8, 2014. [redacted] received delivery of her shipmenton September 18th, 2014 or within 8 business days of her firstavailable date and well within the 21 business day window stipulated in thecontract. As delivery occurred within the agreed upon time frame [redacted] isnot eligible for compensation for delayed delivery. The paperwork[redacted] signed clearly identified the forms of payment accepted at delivery. The Bill of Lading / contract serves as the receipt for services rendered anddocuments the payments made on the account. [redacted]submitted a claim which was reviewed by a qualified claim analyst, certified bythe American Moving & Storage Association (AMSA). Compensation is basedupon federal law, the terms of the contract and the level of valuation coveragechosen by the shipper. In the present case it was determined that [redacted]had chosen the free valuation coverage which limits carrier liability to $0.60per pound for eligible items. The amountof compensation offered to [redacted] is consistent with applicable federal lawand with the level of valuation coverage chosen on the contract. As theservices contracted for were provided in full by Liberty Moving Group, Ms.[redacted] is not entitled to or eligible for a full refund of her moving costs. Finally, wefail to see why someone’s ethnicity or background is in anyway relevant to theissue at hand and strongly deny that [redacted] was forced to provide a tip.Any gratuity tendered by [redacted], was done of her own choosing and freewill. [redacted]’sshipment was delivered within the 21 business day delivery window. Her claimwas reviewed by a certified analyst and compensation was consistent with theterms of her contract. Thank you.

I am rejecting this response because:

They didn't count the two weeks prior the Sept 8 date when they took my items.Mr Derrick Strus (relocation manager) promise me to deliver it on September 8 upon my insistence of take or no deal this happened at my home meanwhile the owner Mr [redacted] didn't have the courtesy to stay in this negotiation he opted to wait outside. If I mentioned the ethnicity is due that they keep speaking in their language 90% of the visit and I think that was rude. I was forced to pay the demanded $100 dollars no matter that I explained that I'm retired, older and broke and started to cry because I was alone at home and these people keep insisting that I must to pay the $100 dollars. I had to pay because otherwise they will not take good care of my belong and this ether help me because how can you explained me that my items were completly wet so wet that the boxes were completly open many items missing. My Naturalization Citizenship Document lost. I only found its empty envelope. The application cost $345 plus 2 pictures.I was in the hotel expending in room/shelter . I have a parrot pet who was standing in a broom stick all day.The cost of many pictures sent to the their insurance Company is almost the same amount of the money they are offering me plus be notarized prohibit me to complaint to the media, internet, Revdex.com,etc.We agree that I will pay through my credit card in 2 parts, 50% when they take my items away and the 50% remain upon delivery. When they were in their way to my home they (Zack and the driver of the moving track to pay the other 50% in cash, they declined to give a formal receipt upon paying him.The emotional distress that this company created me.

Review: Contracted with this vendor for a move on 12/30/14. I was quoted an hourly price of $100/hour x 5 hours for an EXPERIENCED three-man crew. The crew I got was a driver with moving experience and two extremely inexperienced teenage guys. The driver/mover said the second experienced mover assigned to my move called out last minute leaving me with the two inexperienced young guys. I believe one of the young guys is the owner Amir's son and the other guy his friend. In retrospect, I should have immediately cancelled the job. Five hours turned into NINE hours. My furniture was damaged -- wood chipped, gouged and broken. My pristine white mattress was delivered dirty and greasy. I requested my mattress, box springs and furniture be wrapped prior to moving it down two flights of stairs, but the inexperienced movers refused to accommodate my request. A wire clothing rack which the movers dismantled was delivered with parts missing. Additionally, I incurred an additional $135 parking ticket due to the movers not putting $7.00 into the parking meter and charging me the $7.00. My daughter attempted to negotiate with the owner Amir for a deeplyreduced fee based upon the damage and my not the experienced crew I for which I contracted. Even after viewing photos of the damages his movers caused, the owner Amir would only agree to waive the $135 parking ticket and demanded that $900 be paid before the inexperienced movers completed moving furniture and boxes from the truck. I became aware of the significant damages after paying the outrageous fee.Desired Settlement: Based upon the foregoing explanation, Liberty Movers should be required to significantly adjust the $900 fee as I most certainly did NOT receive the services I contracted for. Due to the inexperience of these two young guys, my furniture was very damaged and time was wasted unnecessarily because they had now idea what to do and would stand around waiting for the more experienced person to advise them. Example, one of the inexperienced young guys could not figure out to stack split queen box springs (two pieces) on top of each other and spent 35 minutes on this project before I noticed him and showed him what to do. The other inexperienced mover did NOT tape the plastic case I had purchased for my mattress which resulted in the mattress becoming dirty and greasy. He also did not wrap these items in blankets as I had requested.

as the Revdex.com knows each story has 2 sides, here is our side:the reason we took this job cause she was reefer from previous customer, but we should know that something is wrong about the job, from day one when she called to reserve the truck she refuse to leave deposit ,she said ill pay everything on the move day, when we send her the email.its says that he estimate $700 including $40 tools+$60 fuel and the payment is cash or postal money order, the customer is moving from new York city so she is responsible to reserve parking for the truck its not the moving company responsibility +she has 2 flight of stairs never mention them when she called and the driver has to park a little far all that and it wen over with $70 only + the parking ticket which its not our responsibility.responding to the ugly story that the customer mention that one of the worker amir's son,he doesn't have kids the driver didn't pay the meter ,we attache the receipt for the meter,so please don't say something you not sure of,and next time you want to move do not call moving company.

I am rejecting this response because:

The response is grossly inaccurate. I've attached email correspondence between Amir and myself, together with the moving estimate Amir supplied to me. Estimated cost of the move was $600 including travel time, fuel and tolls. (Note, I had added an extra stop, but when we saw the inexperienced crew, we cancelled the extra stop.) When I placed the order, Amir asked me if there were stairs and I told him yes, two flights of stairs. In my email to Amir on 11/24/2014 where I gave him the complete addresses, I clearly indicated the "Moving From" address is on the second floor. At NO time did Amir mention the extra cost for a second flight of stairs. I was unaware of the necessity of my procuring a parking permit for the move and Amir most certainly did not inform me that one would be needed. I have moved in NYC many times and have never been required to procure a parking permit or received a ticket. I had no problem paying the $100 reservation fee or paying the movers with cash, however, when I mentioned this to their customer, [redacted], the person who referred me to this outfit, she contacted Amir and reminded him that he did not require her to pay the $100 reservation fee and she was able to use her credit card to pay for the move. Amir agreed to extend this courtesy to me. If I am mistaken about the relationship of one of the inexperienced, "teenage" movers to Amir, I apologize. My daughter, [redacted], was speaking with Amir on my behalf on the day of the move and I may have misunderstood her. Both [redacted] and [redacted] were speaking with Amir on the day of the move informing him of all the broken/damaged furniture and ineptitude of the crew he assigned for my move. I am still waiting for Amir to contact me about having a furniture repair person come and repair the furniture broken by the inexperienced young men, as Amir had assured [redacted] he would do. Both [redacted] and [redacted] sent Amir photos of the broken/damaged furniture and soiled mattress on 12/30/14. One more example of the ineptness of inexperienced young "teenage" movers...when one of the "teenage" movers broke the leg off my cedar chest, he just tossed the broken piece into the decorative fireplace and stood the chest up on end. When I questioned him about the broken leg after finding it in the fireplace, his response was "I didn't do it. It was already like that. I promise." That piece was just fine until these inexperienced people entered my apartment. In retrospect, I should have read the [redacted] reviews (ALL NEGATIVE) about this firm, rather than relying on my friend's recommendation. If necessary, I can supply notarized statements from [redacted] and [redacted] regarding their conversations with Amir on 12/30/14, as well as their witnessing the ineptitude of the "movers" and broken and damaged furniture. Regards,

as we all know estimate means(price can go up or down) its not flat price in your case it went up with$ 70 + $ 130 ticket ,it doesn't give you the right to complain.what if the move was less than the estimate ,is that give the company to complain about the customer????????,regarding the damage you have to contact the claim department [redacted]

Review: moving company delivered my household goods and they were missing my 42" flat screen tv and there was broken items by careless handling of my items. Have made 6 phone calls to the company since delivery and my calls are being ignored and not returned to get my tv delivered to me. Also was lied to since the pick-up and have made over 8 other calls since pick-up on December 26th to get a delivery day and those calls all have been ignored alsoDesired Settlement: want tv either delivered or a replacement tv

I am rejecting this response because:

First off Marico the delivery driver who dropped off my items noted the tv was not on the delivery and also called me the next day after he made his final 2 deliveries to let me know this wasn't mixed in the other deliveries and he would drop this off if found the next time he was heading this way. Also Amir from Liberty moving corp called my wife on 01/22/15 at 2:48 EST stating that the tv was found in the warehouse in New Jeresy as it was left there instead of it being sent with my delivery and he would have it sent on the next delivery to this area. So these lies have to stop my tv wasn't delivered as proof and can be backed up by Marico from the company that delivered. This company has lied since day 1 they said they were not brokers which Marico stated he didn't work for Liberty Moving 2nd they stated if picked up by December 27th they would have it to me on 1/6 which they called on December 24th at 5pm and stated if wanted this delivery on time they would now have to pick up on December 26th and then when called on January 5th to see if the delivery was going to make it on the 6th was told it left on Saturday January 3rd and would be here between Thursday and Saturday but when I finally got the number of the driver Marico he told me he didn't even leave until Tuesday 01/06/15 and it wouldn't be delivered until the weekend of the 17th which was the first thing I was told that had any truth to it. I have called this company at least 8 times and have left messages for them to call me back and nothing not 1 call back but before I booked them someone answered the phone all 4 times I called kinda funny. I want my tv delivered as you stated you have it and I am finished with the lies and deceitfulness this company does.

Response:

first we need to apologize about the missing T.V because we found it in the warehouse and we will be sending it to you. but its your fault instead of just write complain for missing t .v you should of called the company first and let them know, because when you complain about the t.v we didn't have any idea, but Amir said let me check and as soon as he found it he called the wife and inform her.we are not broker we are moving company ,when we use carriers to deliver he shipment it doesn't mean we broker. we will call you as soon as we ship the T.V

Review: We hired this moving company (Liberty Moving Group) to move our furniture from Fresno, California to Hanover, Maryland. They sub-contracted the services to another company called Giant X-Press without informing us who showed up (on 07/07/2013) with a Penske truck promosing delivery at time and lying to us that they will move the furniture to Los Angeles and then transfer to their larger (Tractor-trailer) to transport to Hanover, Maryland. At the time of pick up the moving company charged us 716$ for packaging materials without first informing us how much packaging materials they are going to use or how much it will cost at the time of arriva.

They asked for a delivery date and we informed them that since we were arriving on 07/19/2013, to please deliver on that date. Upon arrival in Hanover to our shock we learned that they did not even move our furniture from California. After several calls and many voice messages over a peroid of 1 month, the furniture was finally delivered on 08/20/2013 after 32 days delay and 44 days of pick up which is unacceptable.

To make matters worse, a wardrobe box with expensive coats and sweaters was missing along with 2 expensive night stands. All glassware, fragile glass items and 2 wood stands were damaged (Pictures available).

We have experienced a very bad time sleeping on the floor, not having clothes, utensils and basic neccisities avaibable for 32 days (this voids the contract where delivery is promised no later than 21 days from first day of availability of 07/19/2013). The moving company had no remorse and were very rude to my wife who accepted the delivery and also demanded excess payment since the distance from the truck to my doorstep was too far. Actually, we have a loading dock in our apartment which makes it very easy to deliver goods and was booked from 8-10 AM but the movers did not show up at the promised time and the apartment gave the slot to the next tenant per appointment.Desired Settlement: THIS IS NEGLIGENCE AND AS IN ANY PROFESSION NEGLIGENCE SHOULD BE PUNISHED. WE REQUEST Revdex.com TO PLEASE REMOVE THIS COMPANY FROM YOUR LIST TO AVOID FUTURE SCAMS TO INNOCENT CONSUMERS.

Review: Numerous problems with this company from a stolen 50 inch flat screen tv, broken 6 foot antique gold dressing mirror , broken door on tv console, broken misc. pieces ie. candle holders, missing box with my wife;s chidren memorabila. Also promise of a delivery date that was not honored causing us to have pay a friend to house sit because we had a vacation scheduled.. The general disrespect from the company's owner and sales people was a disgrace. This company lied about almost everything that the said they would do.ie. the delivery date, the cost of the move , the refund process, the total cubic feet of your goods, the storage facilities, the delivery truck with no markings of the company or license info, to laughing at me on the phone, the extortion of money once they have your stuff on the truck and the delivery process.Desired Settlement: To have the owner of this company pay me for my inconviences and dollar amount of the broken or missing stuff, and to apologize for the behavior of his company and himself.

Response:

I am responding to the complaint made by this customer and we understand and are willing to help him out in regards to his damage these things do happen sometimes and we are willing to submit a claim for him on the damaged items in question to our insurance company so he will be compensated for the damages. After reading his complaint according to our contract that was signed by him we have 1 to 7 days to deliver his items and we did he was picked up on 11/15 and delivered on 11/20 we honored our time on that also the move was from NJ to FL 5 days is a fast time for delivery. He is also complaining about an over charge of about $800.00 dollars the reason for the increase was because on his original estimate he gave us a total of 28 items and 70 pieces when we arrived there the customer added things to his move increasing the items to 80 which is why we had an increase if he had not added anything to the pick up he would have not had any increase at all. ANd finally the 50 Inch stolen TV is nonsense we delivered his stuff 3 weeks before he claimed he was missing a TV that is something he would have noticed at the time of delivery on 11/20 not 3 weeks later we can offer no help for the TV because that is not accurate information.

Response:

I am rejecting this response because:The owner lied about our conversation on Dec. 3 .That is the day I came home from the vacation that I left on Nov 20 for 2 weeks ..he knows that because I was constantly calling him about the delivery date of Nov.19. He lied again because the truck did not get to my home until the 22nd. I had a friend stay here from the 20th until the furniture arrived. So his response of me not getting back to him for three weeks is a lie.He also gave me the truck driver phone number so I could make sure someone was here because they were not making the 19th which is the date they gave in the estimate.Furthermore he make no mention of the other items, I wonder why. I called the truck driver also and he said he did not work for LIberty and I was told all pick up and delivery people were employees of Liberty. Another LIE! The driver also told me that there was no box marked television or anything marked as such on the truck but I was there when they packed it. No mention of broken mirror which I have pictures of . I guess that is ok.No mention of the broken door on the television stand which I also have pictures of and no mention of the missing box of my wife's children's memorabilia. Thank you for this chance to tell my story of the worst move EVER!!!

Review: The [redacted] Frances School of Performing Arts contracted The Liberty Moving Group to transport props and costumes to The [redacted] Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas Nevada. The date given to us from Global Moving Group to pick the items up was Wednesday, July 3rd, 2013 to be delivered to the Hotel NO LATER THAN Sunday July 14th, 2013. These props and costumes were needed for Monday July 15th, 2013. Twelve families incurred both airfare and hotel to be at the [redacted] on Sunday July 14th ,2013 for the week to compete in the National competition for Dance Educators of America. Liberty Moving never sent the truck with our props and costumes. We contacted them several times prior to Sunday July 14th to ensure there were no problems in transporting our items. On Wed july 10th we were told the truck with our items was in Kansas City, KS and we would be contacted one hour when they were outside of Las Vegas. This was false. After trying to reach the moving company to find out where our things were we were finally told by the owner they never left the warehouse in Jersey City, NJ. They did not fulfill their end of our agreement nor did the company let us know there would not be any delivery. Not only did this cause distress and trauma for our performing group for they had invested so much money up to this point to get to the National competition but chaos because they would had to perform with no costumes or props. We had to take taxis to a costume house in downtown Las Vegas and rent costumes for days which incurred more costs to our families. We also had to use Federal Express Overnight shipping to get certain items to the [redacted] for the girls to perform on Wednesday, July 17th. To have these items shipped overnight was extremely costly. The Global Moving Group did not hold up its end of our contract and deliver our goods to Las Vegas and failed to alert us that there were any problems. We had to contact them in order for us to let them know of their wrong doingDesired Settlement: We are looking to be completely reimbursed for our 50% deposit to them to transport our goods to Las Vegas which was never done. Also we are looking for them to fully reimburse the [redacted] Frances School of Performing Arts the cost of renting the costumes for the performance, reimbursement for the overnight shipping costs from Federal Express to get the additional costumes to the [redacted] Hotel in Las Vegas.

Response:

[redacted] contacted us to ship some items to NV. He requested a delivery date of July 14th. Two days prior to the 14th, the customer called our long distance dispatch and stated that he needs his items in two days. That was not possible, because our contract stated that delivery will be 1-14 business days. However, we contacted DHL (express delivery) to have some of the items that he needed delivered within two days. The remaining items were kept in our storage and we charged him as a local move which was a total of $400 for pick-up and delivery back to his home as well as storage fees. We refunded him $600 from the $1000 total that he paid.

I am rejecting this response because:We are rejecting this response because the information Liberty Moving Group has provided is COMPLETETLY INACCURATE. We had a contract signed with a deposit of $100 on May 2nd 2013. In this contract it is stated Liberty Moving Company will pick up the items needed to be transported to the [redacted] Hotel Las Vegas Nevada on Wed, July 3rd 2013. The delivery was to be on or before Sunday July 14th 2013. Thy did pick up all of our items on July 3rd as contracted. We we called the Liberty moving Group on Wed July 10 to make sure our items were on their way to Las Vegas. They stated their moving van "broke down" in Kansas City but not to worry our things will be in Las Vegas by Sunday. On Sun. July 14th we when we arrived at the hotel our things were not delivered so we called Liberty Moving group. It was late in the evening when the manager [redacted] finally called us back and told us the truck NEVER LEFT JERSEY CITY, NJ. We NEVER asked them to store ANYTHING in their warehouse for any reason we needed our things in Las Vegas. On Monday July 15 we needed our wardrobe boxes Federal Expressed to Las Vegas so we could perform. It was Liberty Moving Group who gave us the original pick up day of July 3rd to have enough time to get the items transported to Las Vegas by July 14th. The failed to follow through on their contract. It was extremely costly to our studio to have our items federal expressed NOT DHL (as they noted in their response) on top of the $1100.00 we had already given Liberty Moving Group to transport our items. They did give us a portion of our deposit back however the check has not been cashed because we are justly trying to hold them responsible for "theif and deceit" not holding up their end of the contract. Their reponse is perposterous and without merit. I hope they understand we are not going to stop until our deposit of $1100.00 is completely refunded and they are held responsible for the additional fees of us having to ship some of our thing through Federal Express and rent costumes in order to perform.

We are in the process of refunding the customer $500.

I hired Liberty Moving Group in order to move from NY to Indiana. I was very well impressed with how professional they're along with them showing up on time and actually being ready to work. The listened to all my request and when I didn't understand something they was doing all I had to do was ask and they answered me. They delivered everything safe and sound to my new home without damaging anything I own, altogether from the initial phone call all the way up to the courtesy call a week later every thing about Liberty Moving Group was superb

Review: - THEY CAME OVER 9 HOURS LATE. They first said they would be at my place between 9-10. Then they called to say between 12-2. Then they called and said around 5 PM. Then they said 7. They finally got to my place at 7:30 PM.

- THEY ALMOST DIDN'T COME AT ALL! After calling me throughout the day, telling me that they were moving back the time, they finally called me to say that they weren't going to come at all. They would come tomorrow. The only problem was (besides totally wasting my day and not following the contract) that it was the 31st and my stuff would have been thrown out on the street by my ex-landlord. Only after yelling at them, yelling at their boss, threatening to sue and finally bargaining with them, did they finally agree to come.

- MY ELDERLY FATHER AND I DID MUCH OF THE WORK OURSELVES. The movers came only after I promised them that we would help with the move. The movers said they were tired from a previous move that day, and it was the only way they would come. So, me and my father, who is in his 60s, moved as much as we could ourselves.

- THE MOVERS BILKED ME OUT OF MY MONEY! The movers tricked me into giving them an extra $, which they pocketed for themselves. They raised the price by $50, stating it was for gas and tolls. My contract was in my computer, which was packed, so I couldn't check it. Later, I found out that gas and tolls were included.

- THEY SCRATCHED MY FURNITURE! They used absolutely no packing blankets at all, and when I looked at my kitchen table, I found it was scratched.

- THEY REFUSED TO PUT MY FURNITURE BACK TOGETHER WHEN IT WAS UNLOADED!

- THE MOVERS FORCED US TO GIVE THEM A BIGGER TIP! Despite everything that happened, I decided to tip them. When I gave When I gave them their $, they insisted I give them more. My mom obliged with the words, "they know where you live."

- WHEN I CALLED MANAGEMENT TO TELL THEM ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE, THEY WERE INCREDIBLY RUDE AND WOULD NOT RETURN MY CALLS.Desired Settlement: Note: Although I put "late delivery of services" as my primary nature of complaint, I obviously have multiple complaints in multiple categories.

My desired outcome is:

- A complete refund, including the $50 the mover bilked from me and the tip I gave the movers, under duress. It totals to $820.

- A sincere, public apology.

- Proof of a working system in place by Liberty Moving Group to see that nobody else has to experience what I went through.

- Disciplinary action against the movers.

- A criminal investigation.

Response:

To Whom It May Concern,

In response to the complaint from Daniel R Friedman (Complaint ID: [redacted])

Concerning the issue with time, we gave the customer a

courtesy call stating that due to time problems with a previous mover and

traffic our truck was delayed in getting to them. There is nothing we could do

about that, but we did in fact come through and complete the move as promised. This

was a local job and the customer was only charged for the hourly rate. The $50

he is referring to is strictly for tolls which we had receipts for and showed

to the customer. Again this is an issue completely out of our control, and

instead should be taken with Gov. Christie.

If for instance you bought an airplane ticket to California and your

flight was delayed for weather or whatever reason, your ticket would still be

honored, but unfortunately the time of your flight might be pushed back. We

treat our customers’ belongings with the utmost of care as if it was our own,

and are in no way responsible for any damages that we are aware of. If the customer would like they can go mymoveclaim.com

and file a claim for damage since their belongings were insured with the basic

liability insurance of 60 cents per pound.

Review: This company was hired by me over a month ago and given a deposit of 759.00. I was assured by the 'owner' that I would receive a contract by email. All I ever received was an estimate. Then I noticed other charges on my credit card, totaling over $2200.00 dollars. Again, when I spoke to the owner, he told me that it was a mistake, and all would be corrected. the day before the move, I had still not received a contract. and after many attempts to correct this situation with the owner, he never did correct it or send me a contract. I do believe he was trying to scam me. Thank youDesired Settlement: I have disputed the charges on my credit card, and will not be paying for service and contract that I did not receive. Thank you
