Review: I purchased a [redacted] Kit from a seller on [redacted]

On the website description it was stated that the product is new in box. Since the price was the best I could find online I decided to purchase it as it also had a [redacted] payment option.I normally don't purchase products from new places but since I was like good price plus [redacted] so I purchased it. The item came badly packed in a flimsy box. It was not in it's original [redacted] box. The bag was just on the side with drills lying around it wrapped in just a transparent bag. When we looked the drills did not look new. The rubber was coming off and it had scratches on it. We did not want to keep a mislead product , I contacted the main website ([redacted]) . They said I can talk to the seller directly and they will also look in to it. I called them directly. I talked to someone explaining the products condition and it was not as it was stated on the website.I asked them for a pre paid mailing label. They said they don't make those. I can just mail them the item back and email the the postage receipt so they could refund me the price of the kit and the shipping charges I had paid. I also confirmed this with them. After I mailed the parcel which can only be mailed my [redacted] and not [redacted] as they don't mail batteries. My shipping cost was around $70 something. I emailed them the postage receipt and After a few days I did get the refund for the Kit through my [redacted]. But not for my shipping charges. So I called them up . I asked them if they got my email and I didn't get my shipping payment . The first guy I talked to he started denying that no he didn't say that and he checked the item and it was new and they checked and all the drills worked. I said it was stated they are all new in box which was untrue plus they were damaged so it was different from website description and misleading information. After just denying he told me to hold on and then a different man came on the phone who was extremely rude. He started talking very loudly and did not was not even letting me speak. He said we will not pay you any shipping cost and slammed the phone on my face. I was really shocked , I've never had this kind of customer service or even anyone talk to me like that . This whole incident left me emotionally traumatized . I'm an extremely busy mom of 4 small children and it's really hard to even place an order. Let alone call someone over issues. After an hour or two of trying to feel better I called up the main website [redacted]. I talked to their customer service telling them all that had happened. I think I talked to someone known as [redacted]. told him why I would just go return an item I had wanted at such a good price. He assured me he will look into the matter. I was a bit at ease. A week passed by and I had heard nothing from them so I called them up again. There was some other guy . Who at first didn't seem too interested to talk . And I didn't want to go over the WHOLE thing again . He looked into my issue and said that [redacted] had emailed me. I said I haven't received any email and I've been especially keeping an eye out. He asked me to give him my email again and I did. So again he said they'll try to contact the seller about this.

After a while I did get an email.

A week went by and I emailed them to check what's going on with my issue.

They emailed back a day later and told me they don't handle issues and that I should try contacting the seller again.

I was in shock again. I emailed them back saying how they could expect me to call them again after how they treated me. I told them you guys assured me you will take care of the issue and now this. I also said that I'm going to make a complaint with the Revdex.com regarding this issue. They gave me false hope.

Again a day later they emailed me saying they contacted the seller and he said he won't be paying for the shipping. And that they are closing my ticket now.

Apparently they don't seem to care about it.

Do I have to file a separate complaint for [redacted]?

They are featuring a seller who treated their customer extremely badly.

I literally can't get it out of my head how I was insulted and humiliated I feel whenever I think about it.

I really hope you guys look into my matter and help me out with my issue. I've never been talked to like this by any customer service. And I paid a good over $70 of shipping charges which are a lot!

Oh I also like to add that after I had returned the item. It was online for sale again. And the description was same new in box and it also said fully tested and functional. ( I think it's still there).

Apparently, we all know, once you use an item or take it out from it's box. It's not to be described as new in box.

I would like to add the I gave my husband's name in the consumer info. As that's the name we purchased through. But all the issue happened with me

Not describe items incorrectly and mislead people.

And please don't treat some one extremely badly. You have no idea how that person is feeling on the other end ,how his/her day was, or if he or she is stressed.
