Review: I was contacted by Liberty Student Relief via phone call in March 2015. They promised to help with my student loans: that they could get them cancelled out for me because I am disabled and am under certain income limits. All I had to do was pay $600: spread out into 4 payments of $150 that were to be paid out of my account each month around the 26th of the month. I explained to them during the whole process that I did not have a printer, so they were supposed to mail me some paperwork to finish the formalities. No papers were ever sent to me. Two payments were taken from my account before I realized that they had not been honest with me. I have tried to contact this company over and over again via phone and e-mail and do not ever get a response. They did send one impersonal e-mail explaining, themselves, that they were having legal issues with their use of funds and would not be taking any more payments out of my account at this time. I have since been to my bank to close my account to prevent further fund removal. However, I am upset at the loss of $300 when money is so very tight for my family already. I would like to contact them to cancel my account with them and get a refund, but have no way to get into contact with them My bank suggested that I go through the Revdex.com.Desired Settlement: I would like a total refund of my $300 and a cancelation of my account with Liberty Student Relief. I have no further desire to do business with them. I would also hope others would investigate them more than I did before choosing to work with them.

Review: In April, I received a phone call from a representative at this company stating that they could consolidate my federal student loans. They sent me paperwork to complete, which was completed and faxed back to them. On May 5, a payment of $151 should have been deducted from my checking account, and my student loans were to have been deferred from the other lenders and transferred to them. No deduction had happened, no deferment has happened, and when I call their phone lines, I cannot get through.... to ANYONE! I have tried all 5 options on the phone tree, for several hours, on multiple days, emailing the 2 representatives who initially were in contact with me, with zero response. I have left voice message for both of those members as well. I reached out to Navient who holds majority of my student loans to see if they had been contacted, and they have not. They have never heard of this company, nor have done any work with them. I've had student loans for almost 10 years, with any of the lenders, I have been able to reach someone 100% of the time. It is very unsettled by this.Desired Settlement: I want Liberty Student Relief to cancel my consolidation, and shred any of my documentation. I feel this is fraudulent. I have put alerts out on all of my accounts as with the credit bureau.

Review: I have asked them several times to stop calling my home in regards to my student loans. I have had my number placed on the 'National Do Not Call' list and personally asked them not to call anymore. Each time they state they will remove my number from their list. Since April 1, they have called my home 38 times.Desired Settlement: No more calls to my home

Review: I was contacted by Liberty Student Relief after looking for a debt relief program involving loan forgiveness. I was initially in contact with someone named "[redacted]", who coached me through a "process" to place an extended forbearance on my loans until his company could get me enrolled through the U.S. Department of Education into a program with lower monthly payments. That was about 2-3 months ago. Since then, when I attempt to call for updates, it is rare that anyone answers the phone. Often, the number I am calling goes to a fax machine call, or I am placed on hold with background music, with no one picking up after several minutes of waiting. Almost $1000 has been deducted from my checking account presumable for signing up and allowing the company to complete necessary paperwork. I have never received paper work in the mail, and correspondence, has only taken place over the phone (on 3-4 occasions when I was able to get through to someone who only 'reassures' me that things are moving along. When I called the company with whom I previously consolidated my loan, they are only aware of a request for forbearance, but state they are expected a payment soon. At this point, I have no idea who I should be paying, and seems impossible to get through to Liberty Student Relief. I am wondering if this is a scam. I would like to know what to do at this point. The numbers I have been calling are [redacted]. No answer or goes to "[redacted]'s" voice mail.(goes to generic voicemail or often fax noise). If you choose to press "zero" to be connected to an operator, the phone produces a fax noise. If there is anyone with a similar experience or can offer clarification as to how this company does business, please comment.Desired Settlement: If this is not a legitimate company that can follow through on their claim to get me enrolled in a program through the Department of Education for lower loan payment, I would certainly like a refund of the funds which have already been paid. I would also like the Revdex.com to further investigate this company and warn other's that their tactics and not honest and forthcoming. I especially have an issue with not being able to contact anyone at the agency.

Review: I was contacted by Liberty Student Relief in regards to consolidating my student loan. I was told that in order for the application to begin I would need to pay $899.00. After the collection of the payment I would then have my loan consolidated and my new loan would begin. The representative assured me that I would need to pay only 120 months with the new loan and then because I work in the public school system I would have my loan forgiven. For three months $299.66 was debited from my bank account. I then spoke with a representative from the government agency that would be taking over my student loan and they told me that I would not qualify for the loan forgiveness program. I cancelled my application for the loan consolidation and immediately contacted Liberty Student Relief. I tried to contact someone using their toll free number but no one would answer the phone or once I was placed on hold, the call would disconnect after only 5 to 6 minutes. I finally was able to speak with someone using their regular number and explained my problem and they assured me that my money would be returned. They gave me a time frame of 1 to 2 weeks. It has now been three weeks since my conversation and I have not received any money back from Liberty Student Relief. I have attempted to contact them several times using both the toll free number and their regular number but no one ever answers the phone. I have called throughout the day and even in the evening but no one ever seems to answer the phone. I have left messages, but again no one has ever returned my call. In speaking with Liberty Student Relief I have given them information regarding my banking institution and social security number in order to assure that I would receive the product that they promised. Unfortunately this has not been the case with this company and I have only lost money with them instead of receiving any type of aid.Desired Settlement: I would like for Liberty Student Relief to fulfill their promise to return my money. However at this point in time I would like for them to send me a check because I have shared too much personal information with them that I am concerned for my own privacy and identity.

Review: We signed a contract with this company to help us out with Student Load Debt payback with Income based payments. They charged our account $299.50 and we heard nothing more from them. Upon calling them back it took several attempts before getting through. Once we got through the company was unable to put us back through to our original contact and they continued to talk in circles. We were later sent an email stating that we were supposed to send some tax documents, in which we were never informed and that if we do not send said documents we would not be able to get our full money back GUARANTEED. At that point we decided to cancel our services and tried to get refunded to no avail. They now have $300 of our money and we have nothing to show for it.Desired Settlement: I would like to get the $299.50 back and just go our separate ways.

Review: This company did not provide the services promised. Further investigation shows this company is fradulant and is a scam. They contacted me regarding providing assistanc with lowering Student Loan debt. They promised to lower my monthly payment to an affordable amount and in 10 years no more debt. I paid $700 up front for the services and have not heard anything else from the company. I have talked to [redacted] the number to contact her is [redacted] The other number is [redacted] Also [redacted] at [redacted] is a head processor. 4 months later my student loan comany is calling saying they have not recevied a payment and was informed that this company was a scam.Desired Settlement: I want my $700 dollars back from these criminals
