I have looked to insure that the IRS has received his file and they have acknowledged receipt. At the time of service we gave Mr. [redacted] a payment voucher and informed him that he is required...
to send his payment to the IRS. Having spoken with Mr. [redacted], he indicates that he did in fact send in his payment but that the IRS has not chased his check. I have no way of knowing whether he sent in his payment or whether the IRS has received his payment. He indicates that he has spoken with the IRS and they have not processed his payment. I am not in a position to dispute that. I believe the issue is between him and the IRS. I cannot process a payment for the IRS nor can I state whether or not he sent in the required.amountI am always willing to try and assist where I can, but in this case I feel there is not a whole lot I can do. Mr. [redacted] can certainly cancel the previous check and write a new one, or simply wait for a reply from the IRS. In either case, we have done nothing wrong or inept concerning Mr. [redacted]'s taxes. They were filed. accepted and the file complete with the IRS. The fact that Mr. [redacted] has not received any correspondence from the IRS leads me to believe that there is certainly no issue on our side of the equation. If Mr. [redacted] receives any letters or anything from the IRS we will of course react appropriately.I believe Mr [redacted] needs to be a little clearer on what he would like for us to do. Simply calling the IRS to ask if they have his check is not a productive exercise as they cannot provide that information. The record currently shows that they have not received payment so it is incumbent upon Mr. [redacted] to make the adjustment.[redacted]
