Complaint ID: Date of Complaint: 3/7/2018Dear Revdex.com:Thank you for the opportunity to address the concerns of my client A short narrative of the situation is as follows:My client first came to my business last year to complete her taxes At the time, when asked if she had insurance she stated she did When asked if the insurance was through the Marketplace, she indicated it was not Because it was not she was not obligated to provide a for issued to her from the Marketplace indicating where she has purchased it We filed her return which was rejected by the IRS because she needed to provide a form we did not have She came back into the office and submitted the form some time later In the meantime neither she nor me was getting paid, she her refund and me my prep fees Some time later she was issued her refund by IRS and we both got paid.She came back this year for us to complete her refund Through an oversight, the form we waited on last year, was omitted with her filed return and was thus rejected Like last year, she will receive her refund, but the refund, like my fees, will be delayed.I spoke with the client and told her that she would be receiving her refund, just delayed as it was last year I further told her I would be happy to do her refund next year "free" but could not make her return this year free I further explained that like last year, she will be getting her refund, just later than she expected If the error caused her to not expect her refund, or even if the refund was reduced, I would have not charged her But as it stands, the refund is just delayed, not eliminated or ever reduced.That is not acceptable to her obviously.Thank you again for the opportunity to address her concerns I'm sorry she is not satisfied with my attempt to resolve this issue[redacted] ***
