Hello,I have had numerous contact with Mr [redacted] We did prepare his taxes and he owed federal income taxesI have looked to insure that the IRS has received his file and they have acknowledged receiptAt the time of service we gave Mr [redacted] a payment voucher and informed him that he is required to send his payment to the IRSHaving spoken with Mr***, he indicates that he did in fact send in his payment but that the IRS has not chased his checkI have no way of knowing whether he sent in his payment or whether the IRS has received his paymentHe indicates that he has spoken with the IRS and they have not processed his paymentI am not in a position to dispute thatI believe the issue is between him and the IRSI cannot process a payment for the IRS nor can I state whether or not he sent in the required.amountI am always willing to try and assist where I can, but in this case I feel there is not a whole lot I can doMr [redacted] can certainly cancel the previous check and write a new one, or simply wait for a reply from the IRSIn either case, we have done nothing wrong or inept concerning Mr***'s taxesThey were filedaccepted and the file complete with the IRSThe fact that Mr [redacted] has not received any correspondence from the IRS leads me to believe that there is certainly no issue on our side of the equationIf Mr [redacted] receives any letters or anything from the IRS we will of course react appropriately.I believe Mr [redacted] needs to be a little clearer on what he would like for us to doSimply calling the IRS to ask if they have his check is not a productive exercise as they cannot provide that informationThe record currently shows that they have not received payment so it is incumbent upon Mr [redacted] to make the adjustment.***
