I am rejecting this response because:We do not know who Lisa is. Our officiant was supposed to be Evelyn R***. Furthermore, Anastasia should have personally contacted us as soon as possible to apologize, instead of apologizing six months later through the Revdex.com

[redacted] was immediately refunded for the ceremony. [redacted] was unable to perform the ceremony due to a severe family emergency out of state on the day of the wedding. She was not responsible for depositing the check and she was unaware of what was to happen later that day, and an immediate...
family member suffered a fatal heart attack. The refund check was returned to sender due to it be damaged in the mail, which she can provide proof of, if necessary. This is why Liberty Weddings believes this Revdex.com statement was written, because of the lag in sending a refund. A replacement check was immediately issued and [redacted] should at this time received this at this point in full.

I am rejecting this response because: I would like to see the said "contract" in which [redacted] and myself signed to verify this information. The only piece of paper [redacted] and I received was a receipt with a signature of "Stacy L[redacted]" on the back of a business card with a written amount of $150. I still have not received my promised non-stop communication as stated on her website which I have a screen shot of in case of court proceedings to follow. It took 6 months to receive a facebook message.

Kevin did not contact us until 6 months after Stacy had moved without one word. All e-mails were sent to not only Stacy but to the Liberty Wedding official e-mail as well. Had she contacted us regarding Kevin's e-mail we would have freely discussed our wedding; however, without a number or e-mail to contact Kevin directly during those 6 months we had no idea that Kevin even existed.

According to our contract form that [redacted] and [redacted], if the officiant hired for your wedding date and time becomes unable to perform the services, another officiant of equal abilities will be assigned to the couple. We have three officiants at Liberty Weddings available in case of...
situations such as this one. Kevin G[redacted], one of our two lead officiants, reached out to [redacted] and [redacted], ready to officiate their wedding and take over all ceremony preparation for them, which is usually done around this time, three months prior to the ceremony. All contracted liabilities of Liberty Weddings has been met, and only after Kevin reached out to them did they then let us know that they did not want our services. Regardless, Liberty Weddings is saving their date and time as contracted and Kevin is still awaiting to hear from them regarding performing their ceremony on September 13th, 2014.
