I let this company handle my home insurance because of my lack of experience.
Their customer service was horrible Agent Jimmy is very unprofesional and rude and provided me wrong information about my property He told me that my roof was never recorded with the county and If I ever want to purchase or replace my roof I was going to be penalized by the county I knew it was a lie I was able to obtain my roof permits from orange county clerk after that conversation. The price of my insurance was doble it and he never told it can be reduce by doing a mitigation inspection he talked to me in a very disrespectful and intimidating way. Im glad on that day I called the insurance and they provided to me a list of profesional agents in my area and now I am in the switching process this guy earned his comision on my policy for years without doing any work that was the worst customer experience I ever had.

Searching my records I don't fine Marcela V in our agency records. Most of the time clients call agency's to asked claims questions rather to reading policy jackets (that we strongly recommend) and to call company claims departments, consumer's needs to understand that as an insurance agents we are not licensing claims adjuster and that the best way to get answers all of theirs claim question should be the claims representatives, claims adjusters, or claims department, I need her name as appear in her homeowners policy.

Mrs. V had insurance through us since 2013, our office has provided to her the best customers service and to all of our office clients for over 16 years.
Mrs. V called and spoked to me about her neighbors changing their roof and why Universal Property & Casualty denied her roof claim according to her, I did reviewed her claims experience and find out she file a Hurricane (Irma) back on 09/13/17 directly to Universal Property & Casualty with claim #:***, she get paid for the roof in the amount of $6154.00.
She mentioned to me that she was very disappointed because Universal Property denied her roof claim, I said Universal pay you $6154.00 for you roof damaged on 09/13/17 Hurricane Irma, then she was getting angry at me and started to ask me many claims questions saying why her neighbors are getting their roof replace and she's not I said I don't know but the best way is to call company and file the claim, she cont., to asking me more and more questions about claim procedures so I advised her that I was not a claim adjuster (license) the best way is call claim dept., and file the claim or call them and ask all the claims questions she have, that's when she get angry and rude, then she hang up.
At this time I do not understand why she feels so frustrated with me and agency when we have provided her the best service for over 5 years. If she still feel that she needs to file a claim and the incident occurs before she requested to cancel her Home Insurance, she needs to call Universal Property & Casualty at 1-800-425-9111 and file the claim.

Mr Jimmy you are the most dishonest person I ever meet I have a copy of my claim paid during hurracaine Irma in 2017 the damages covered were not related to roof dammage I will like for you to provide a proof of my insurance stating that a roof claim was denied to me that is false I never submitted such a claim I was not upset about a denied claim I called you my agent to ask you how roof claims work with an insurance when you have a likage and also to find ways to reduce insurance prices. I was checking around to undestand how roof replacement works you started to talk to me about FBI and frauds wich I dont undestand why you also told my current roof wich came with the house was illegaly installed and if I ever purchase a new one the county was going to penalized me I knew you were lying that was a red flag to me after that conversation I called the insurance to help me to find a new agent and went to Orange county clerk to request a print out of my current roof permit and I got it. You never told me to do a wind mittigation inspection it save me $700 thanks to my new agent. You never provided any good service to me since 2013 I only called you once and it was such bad experince it made me remeber When I first got my insurance back in 2013 and you were rude and intimidating to me at that time too. I loved universal casualty insurance that was the reason why I I kept you because I never research to find out up to now that I can change agents so my recomendation is be profesional, honest and dont undestimate you customers thinking that you can lie and intimidate them because people will do their research. thanks to this situation overrall I end up leaving universal casualty wich I really liked but my new agent found a better coverage for me with a lower deductible and Im saving about $ 700. And again I will like proof of something stating that my insurance company denied my claim and also I will like to provide proof of Irma claim to show that you are giving false information.
My insurance covered the $ 6000 That you mentioned for damages not related to
Roof replacement I have a copy that I can present to business bureau and liberty cooporation because you are lying.

Working with Agent Jimmy was not a pleasant experience he does not know how to talk to people in a respectful way. He is sarcastic and will make feel ignorant instead of try to guide you. so I am just finding a new agent at this time.

I was involved in a car accident with ones of their clients (***). I was stopped waiting to turn right when their long transportation van was turning into the the road I was on and side swiped me. I called Liberty Insurance agency several times and spoked to Jimmy. He has been one of the most rude agents I've ever encounter he tries to talk down to you and speaks to people in a demeaning way. He did not want to give me any information on the case and then finished by stating that he will not talk to me and that they will not cover me.

Other (requires explanation) I would like for them to pay for the damages to my car and a repair shop of my choosing . a personal apology from Jimmy.

In response *** son whom refused to provide his name was asking for information without any written consent from *** about this claim, at the end of our conversation this man told me you have been recording without my permission and consent or even asked me for it, I told him after I do NOT gave him authorization to record me because he should ask me first, I told him *** claim dept., and Nat'l Ins co Claims will handed over this incident and they will contact *** & Vict Transportation if they have any question, all claims was reported to both company's in fact I did spoked to *** and Nat'l Ins claims departments. *** does not speak English, *** claim ***, Nat'l claim ***, claims still under investigation by both carrier because there was no Citation issue neither drivers. The gentleman complaining most understand due to privacy protection we cannot just revealed information to anyone stated I am... if we do not hear from all party's involved we will never violate the Privacy Law.
