I do not accept the response from the business because [redacted] the general manager, nor anyone at Libertyville Chevrolet, DID NOT do anything or work with me to rectify Here is what I recieved: 1) A call from another manager saying sorry, nothing we can do for you but if you want to pick another car, go ahead 2) [redacted] telling me how he is from Wisconsin and how he needs to get his staff properly trained on how to handle situations like these, that it was not the way he "did things" in [redacted] This call happened from his cell phone after conference in Schaumburg he had the day I spoke to him 3) days after the incident, the same pricing was listed (I went back in and verified)- it was not changed So again, please send this back that I am not satisified with their response as there was NOTHING DONE to find the car I want and my budgetI have the call logs/time stamps to provide proof of the calls Final Business Response / [redacted] (4000, 13, 2014/05/16) */ I had attempted to contact Ms [redacted] since April 29th, 2014, but we were not able to get in contact with each other until the late afternoon of May 6th, We provided her with some options via email later that night (with the assistance of the Sales Manager, [redacted] and have not yet heard anything in returnI know Ms [redacted] stated that she would probably not actually make a purchase until the end of this month (May) and maybe this is why is she has not yet responded to our email Thank you [redacted] Director of Operations ***@libchevy.com (XXX)XXX-XXXX

I was looking for a used car, and noticed a [redacted] advertised by Libertyville Chevrolet on ***.com for $2, The active link is below: https:// [redacted] I called the dealership on 11/to express interest, letting them know I am 50+ miles away, and scheduled an appointment on 11/in the morning to view the car I got an email confirmation early in the morning and left work to drive to the dealershipHe asked where I saw the ad, and the price, and I told him on ***.com, the price ($2,995) and that I was knowledgeable about the retail value of this particular carI was impressed with the car and went inside with the salesman to "make the deal"He had scribbled on a blank sheet of paper the amount of $2,995, then below it was $and another amount $(no decimals or anything) and a blank line for me to sign I asked what those other amounts were and he said they were fees and registration I thought it was $and $ We negotiated the $2,down to $2,as I mentioned my target was close to $3,in total He went away to do the paperwork as I called my insurance company, assuming we had a sale for somewhere in the mid-$3k range after taxes and fees He returns with a bill of sale totaling nearly $7, I was incredulous, and asked what comprised that total The salesman said the $was actually $1,for the "certification" of this car There was also mention of some other fees that didn't really make sense I was outraged, explaining their advertising was for the car as is for $2,995, with no mention of any certification fee Total advertising - the ad price was $2, He then went back and forth to the manager to lower the price, first in the $5k range, then a few more lower amounts, finally to $4.5k to see if I'd agree I insisted the price they had advertised was $2,and I was willing to pay that, plus the taxes and fees He said $4.5K was the lowest the "corporate office" would allow I explained I cannot do that, asked for my credit card back and walked out, after wasting half of my day and driving over miles to view a car that was falsely advertised

If you have a complaint, you write a review Well I don't have a complaint !! I have had very good service, twice, with my salesman (Keith) and with Libertyville Chevrolet

I went to dealership for their "Everyday Value Price" oil change which includes tire rotation and multi-point vehicle inspectionI was told by service adviser that since I own a Camaro, the tires can't be rotated thus I didn't qualify for this offer (bait and switch)I guess they felt it was okay to charge more for lessI was informed that my oil change would be approximately I have purchased several new vehicles from them and they lost my Camaro purchase to The Chevy ExchangeI do like getting service here since it is closest to my house and I have given them all service on this vehicle to date! I will never go back here as I am not a fool with my money.....Shoppers and those in need of service don't let them waste your time and money here! I drove from here to another dealership and received synthetic oil for less than they were going to charge me for conventional oil!

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Met with [redacted] after he asked me to come to the dealership on Friday, May 5, They brought in another vehicle from hours away to satisfy me? His understanding was I wanted a Midnight Edition, long bed truck? I had never requested that of anyone We then walked out to the lot, looked at a random Colorado vehicle, which was in stock and printed out his deal I could buy a the new truck for $36,The same truck is currently listed for $31,on website His deal was to give me a trade for of $19, KBB quote was $26,Edmunds was $24, He claimed my vehicle was in and accident, according to [redacted] (Minor) bodywork was completed to repair a dent from another vehicle, while that vehicle was in an accident Report filed with Lincolnshire Police and State of Illinois Metal part stuck my vehicle during their accident-bystander damage I would then finance $30,at 2.9% for months I currently owe $14,on the vehicle As you can see, not only did Libertyville Chevrolet wanted to cheat on the trade value somewhere between ($5,175-$7,872) They offered to sell me a new truck for +$4,higher than their advertised price on the website.I offered to throw $3,into the deal to make this happen That would mean I would finance $18, [redacted] would not move from his $30, If I do the math Libertyville Chevrolet gives me a fair value of my truck, sells a new truck as an advertised price and we are now between $10,101-$12,798-Subtract that from $30K and I calculate between $17,and $19,to finance.Beyond that I have contacted an attorney and later today, I will know if we are filing a lawsuit against Libertyville Chevrolet and General Motors Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Sincerely, [redacted] This is how the company attempted to contact meas stated before, I have bought several cars through themNo I don't get my car serviced through them most of the time, why, because for instance the charge for checking out my vihicle can be done for free at any autozonethey over charge youThe fix that they placed on my car was less than and they charged my I would not have taken it to them then other than it literally started acting up in front of their building The recited story is majorly untrueThey make the AGREED upon time difference for the fix to be my neglect Dear *** My name is [redacted] and I am your new contact at Libertyville Chevrolet Although the Sales Consultant who assisted you with your is no longer a member of the Libertyville Chevrolet family, we wanted to make sure you knew that someone is always here to assist you!I just wanted to take this time to introduce myself and let you know you can call or email me anytime with any questions, concerns or any other assistance you need here at the dealership.I look forward to working with you now and in the future.Sincerely, [redacted] Sales TeamLibertyville Chevrolet SMilwaukee Libertyville, IL [redacted] http://www.libertyvillechevrolet.com/ I recieved this December 1srtThey want me to buy another carWhat was originally wrong with the car, is still wrong! They have not fixed anything

Terrible experience Worst customer service, they listed a vehicle online, I called the dealership checked if the car still available Saira cust Servconfirm car still available made appointment, took break from job and went all the way to libertyville from chicago DT and sales guys simple denied that vehicle is not here first said it's sold than they don't have it here I checked online guess what car was still available and pictures were of the dealership, I asked if they have something in similar price they started making fun of my budget real pissed off left the dealership and called Chevrolet regional customer service made a complaint they were very helpful and sorryIn short I was out to buy the lost my business & trustThey are cheaters they doing a bait and switch business and robbing people

We can cancel the service contract and GAPThe amount would be $for the Service Contract and $for the GAP The refund would go to the bank as the products were financedA cancellation form needs to get signed by the customer

The paperwork that Mr [redacted] is referring to is the out of state license workWe did a dealer trade to get the vehicle and had to wait for the Manufacturer's Certificate of Orgin We have been funded by the bank so we will overnight the title work to the Wisconsin Department of Motor Vehicles and the plates will go directly to Mr [redacted] from Wisconsin

If I could give them negative stars I wouldFirst of all, they told me they would give me the extended warranty for free since they wouldn't budge on the price of my new truck...however a week after buying the vehicle I sat down and read thru all my paperwork...and in fact THEY CHARGED ME $2,for the warranty they said they would give me for freeThis is my first time buying such a high value car and wasn't aware of the fine print etcSecond they ran my credit with over a dozen banks ILLEGALLY might I add, I did NOT give them consent to run my credit that many timesIf they would've been HONEST with me and told me what they were doing, I would've called a family member to co-signSo now my credit just went into the hole because they again illegally ran my credit without my permissionIm making sure to leave this review everywhere online and social media I am beyond disgusted with the all around serviceNOT TO MENTION THEY DIDN'T EVEN DETAIL MY TRUCK! You would think paying $for a car they could at least clean it

Visiting Libertyville Chevrolet was like taking a child to a haunted house; in the daytime it looks pretty but at night; the monsters come out! Raymond [redacted] was our sales person, he calls himself "Magic Man", although I'm not sure whyWe came in with pre-approved financing and they assured us they could get us a lower rate...and after running our credit, they couldn'tRaymond processed out paperwork INCORRECTLY and when he couldn't figure it out, he just left it off, this was the reason why we had to go back and redo our documentsRaymond tossed around the "they don't like me because I'm a black man", like it was a Frisbee, he took advantage of the fact that we were also African-American and that too is a form of racism!! The vehicle we looked at needed some minor work done and we were informed that it would be ready the next daySo many errors: Day 2: When are you picking up your vehicle, Day 3: Your car is ready…on Day we were informed by our finance company that the documents were not correct: wrong name, and an excluded name Never, not one time did Libertyville ever call us and say there's a problem with your paperworkSo on Day we went back to the dealer again, keep in mind due to the traffic, it took us hours to get there; they put us in a room to redo the financing but my husband wanted to see the vehicle before we signedWe stood around for over two hours while they basically ignored us and Raymond attempted to look busy without doing anythingWhile we were waiting they were telling us "they're bringing the car around" and "it's being cleaned" or “it will be out in a minute", My husband went on a hunt and located the vehicle, NO WORK had been done, ZERO, ZILCH, NADAWe spoke with the Sales Manager Greg [redacted] who probably didn't know Raymond works for him! Every question we asked, his answer was “I don't know why they did that” All he needed was one finger up his nose to look like an irresponsible childHowever, he did manage to make a negative comment about the technicians who did not report to him, being incompetent and being paid $an hourLIES, LIES, AND MORE LIES, if I am ever asked about where to go for a vehicle, I will tell them where not to go and that's Libertyville Chevrolet [redacted] !!

We are willing to refund the $ The deposit was put on a [redacted] Please have her come in and see [redacted] the office manager for a refundShe may also call [redacted] at [redacted] THANK YOU

After reviewing the complaint Libertyville Chevrolet has mailed a check for $to the customer We also apologize

[redacted] came in on October 23rd with her Equinox with 111,miles and stated the check engine light was on and mentioned the fan motor runs constantly and the vehicle overheats The technician scanned the computer and found a fault code for a faulty thermostat and also noticed the thermostat was not engaging 9S(sticking) which he replacedThe technician bled the system and the light was off [redacted] picked up her car and drove it home on the same dayOn November (days later) with 111,(additional miles) [redacted] came in and stated her check engine light was on so we scanned for a code and found low coolant pressure code which was caused by an air pocket in the coolant system which caused the light to come onThis code was not present on the first visitWe feel the vehicle developed another issue in the time that lapsed As a good will gesture we bled the system and changed the oil at no charge We drove the car back to Valaria's home making sure the light was offWe didn't find any problems and the light stayed off On the November 3rd (miles were 111,757) [redacted] called us and stated the car was overheating (the check engine light was NOT on) so we towed it to the dealership at no chargeWe could never duplicate the overheating from the initial visit and we didn't find any code stored or present We let the car run for hours at a time for consecutive days and found a head gasket vacuum leak which is causing the air pocket not a liquid leakWe understand the frustration however this is an additional repair not related to the service repair October 23rd, We did fix the original check engine concernAs a good will gesture we are willing to discount the head gasket repair 10% The vehicle is years old and has 111,miles on the it The last time this vehicle was in for service at [redacted] Chevrolet was May with 42,miles on the vehicle If you need any additional information or have any concerns regarding this complaint please contact [redacted] , Service Manager [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Sincerely, [redacted]

Our service manager [redacted] spoke to the customer [redacted] told the customer that the part that the other person put on her vehicle looked usedWe put the part in a bag and put the part in her trunk We agreed with Mrs [redacted] to give her a check for $which is half of the service bill

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2014/03/21) */ Contact Name and Title: [redacted] Contact Phone: (XXX)XXX-XXXX Contact Email: ***@libchevy.com Hello, my name is [redacted] and I am the Director of Operations here at Libertyville Chevrolet First and foremost I would like to offer my sincere apologies to Mr [redacted] While I was not personally involved with this transaction, I can say that it seems as if a miscommunication is at the base of this unfortunate situationBefore I proceed, please know that none of these circumstances occurred as a result of any intentional purpose and/or action It appears that the vehicle that Mr [redacted] was interested in also had another prospective buyer working with another one of our sales manager at the same time Luis was dealing with Mr [redacted] 's inquiryIt is true that the owner of the dealership did have this vehicle in his possession at the time of Mr [redacted] 's interestUnfortunately, the other interested party was able to secure the sale of the vehicle before Mr [redacted] was able to I have personally attempted to reach out to Mr [redacted] on several occasions and have not had the opportunity to reach himNone of my phone calls were returned from Tuesday, March 18th, 2014, at 1:pm and 5:pm, and from Friday, March 21st, 2014, at 2:pm While I can certainly understand Mr [redacted] 's disappointment, it is going to be very difficult to resolve this situation without Mr [redacted] 's willingness to communicate with usWe have a few options, but considering that Mr [redacted] is interested in a NEW Chevrolet Tahoe, these vehicles are VERY limited in supplyWe have been able to locate a similar vehicle with similar miles as the originally requested vehicle from Mr [redacted] If we are able to secure this vehicle, we are willing to sell it to Mr [redacted] at the cost that was negotiated on his prior vehicle inquiryPlease note that since this is the only other vehicle we may have available to us per Mr [redacted] 's interest, time is of the essence I encourage Mr [redacted] to return my phone calls so we can review all the options we have available and hopefully resolve this matter to his satisfaction Thank you for your time, [redacted] Libertyville Chevrolet - Director of Operations Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (3000, 7, 2014/03/23) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I do not accept Libertyville Chevrolet's response for several reasons: As I described in my letter to Libertyville, the "prospective buyer" described in Mr [redacted] letter was actually the owner's "executive buddy." Those are not my words but the words of [redacted] a manager I had been dealing withHow convenient that a GE executive swooped in at the last minute and conveniently purchased a vehicle I had been trying to see for almost a week! Having been out of the country while MrRuffolo was trying to contact me, I am shocked by his responseIt indicates that he not only didn't follow up with the employees I listed in my letter but has completely overlooked the fact that I never even negotiated a price on the vehicle I was looking atThe complete disregard for truth and transparency within Libertyville Chevrolet has been ongoing which Mr [redacted] has conveniently corroborated As I stated in my letter, I took time off work and spent time away from my family to visit and inquire about the vehicle at their dealershipThis cost has again been overlooked by Libertyville, which at this point I'm not surprised Just so all parties are
