I received your email and would like to respond. I did remodeling work at *** *** *** *** ***, Ohio in 2012. She contacted me
on approximately 10/12/to tell me that her roof was leaking. On 10/14/I went there with the man that installed the roof to inspect and make an evaluation. We couldn't see any visible damage to the roof, chimney flashing, valley's, or vent stacks. However, we did find that someone other than ourselves had been on the roof and did do some type of work on it as there are areas that had been caulked after we had completed the work (photos on request). We then went inside to the second floor to see what damage had been done. There are two areas of carpeting that had been cut out and discarded and one section of carpet by the stair well that was wet. We looked inside the crawl areas to see if there were any wet spots or water damage but couldn't find any. There were no wet areas on the ceilings or walls. There were no water marks on the ceilings or walls as well. It wasn't raining that day so I told *** that we would come back on a day that was raining to hopefully finalize this complaint. I'm attaching the letter that I sent to *** in regards to what we did find, including her other complaints. I have photos of all of this and a video of the attic roof inspection. Her remark about my being "nasty" is not accurate. When we first met at her house on 10/14/to discuss this problem, I was under the belief that she had a year labor warranty. This is the same labor warranty I offer to all of my clients. Even with that belief I told her that I came there as a courtesy to her and to the law firm that hired me years ago and that I would repair the roof if I did something wrong. She left that part out. As it turns out, I gave her a year labor warranty and I intent to honor it if there is a labor related problem.

The water is now traveling down wall from the roof in the back part of my den. Mold is growing in the walls. jimmy has not offer to supply the materials that suppose to be under warranty, he refuses to do the work and he wrote it in his last letter he wrote that it was close. I am asking for a brand new roof and damages of my attic. I will proceed with further action.
