[redacted] received two treatments and one check on July They returned for their free finals on July Unfortunately, the [redacted] family did not have the guarantee because all family members were not checked within hours She was made aware of this by our technician in the Federal Way office Regardless, The ONLY correspondence we received from [redacted] was a phone call on August stating that her girls had lice again She sent a picture of an empty shell casingWE left her a message letting her know that it was nothing to worry about, but we would offer free checks for peace of mind We did not here anything back On August 30, she walked into our Federal Way office without an appointment stating that she needed treatments-remember we only saw four people We let her know that she never had the guarantee, but even if she did she was way past days That's when she said "I've been calling times a day for the past month and nobody returns my calls." First of all that's impossible because all phones are forwarded to one central number We are often answering phones until 11pm because they are always forwarded to me or one of my managers Second, on our message it states to email us if they have received this message It's there so we don't miss anyone's message I can assure you that no one else has had a problem getting through and we have been running our business for the past month Ms [redacted] was very threatening on the phone to my manager and to me, and I won't be bullied by someone who thinks the rules don't apply to them We go above and beyond at Lice Knowing You and quite honestly would have been more than willing to help Miss [redacted] had she not tried to bully her way through the process The saying you catch more flies with honey seems to apply here

First, a little history about Lice Knowing You. We were founded in Mercer Island, Washington in late 2007. Since that time, we have opened several offices throughout Washington, Oregon and now Arizona. We have treated and/or checked more than 50,clients and have never had a complaint filed against us with the Revdex.com. Our commitment to ethical billing practices, thorough lice treatments and lice education are the reason that we are considered one of the top Lice Removal Companies in the country. Our number one priority is customer service and we always welcome feedback, good or bad, because it helps us make our business better.
*** and *** *** were treated for head lice on February 27, in our *** location. *** *** was not present during their treatment, nor has he ever visited our Lice Knowing You *** location
I feel this complaint is not as much about Lice Knowing You as it is a husband being mad at his wife for her spending this much money on lice treatment. *** parting words to us when she left our clinic on February were " My husband is going to kill me."
Both our website and the paperwork that the client signs before treatment discuss our billing practices. Our rate is $per hour per person billed in minute increments. You are only charged for the time we are doing treatment and removal to the nearest minute mark. Other than the treatment time, we do not bill for time that a client's head is not being worked on. Mom filled out and signed all paperwork before treatment began. Upon checking both *** and ***, they were each given an estimate of 1.5-hours per treatment for each of them. Mom said that she wanted us to proceed with the treatment. *** took hours and *** took hours to treat, right around the estimate they were given. At no time were they told that the treatment would take an hour or less. This would have been impossible simply based on the amount of hair they both had and the level of their infestation. I think *** is confusing our hourly rate with what he believed would be the total cost of treatment. Again, he was never present in our clinic so we were not able to clarify if this in fact is what he believed
Clients are not forced to receive treatment at Lice Knowing You and we have plenty of clients who just want to be checked and do it themselves at home and plenty who only want to be combed for a certain amount of time because that's all they can afford. A check is just $and if a client wants to receive treatment, we waive the cost of that check. We are not extortionists and no one is required to receive treatment at our clinic. If we know ahead of time that money is an issue for the client, we try to work with them so that they can get the treatment they need. We do more than pro bono treatments a year for clients in need.
At no time has *** ever tried to contact Lice Knowing You to clarify or discuss these issues. As the CEO, I am a very reasonable person and am very approachable. I feel as though this is a case of trying to bully a company into getting a refund simply because he does not agree with the purchase his wife made.

Both our website and the paperwork that the client signs before treatment discuss our billing practices.  Our rate is $95 per hour per person billed in 15 minute increments.  You are only charged for the time we are doing treatment and removal to the nearest 15 minute mark.  Other than the treatment time, we do not bill for time that a client's head is not being worked on.  Mom filled out and signed all paperwork before treatment began.  Upon checking both [redacted] and [redacted], they were each given an estimate of 1.5-2 hours per treatment for each of them.  Mom said that she wanted us to proceed with the treatment.  [redacted] took 2 hours and [redacted] took 2.25 hours to treat, right around the estimate they were given.  At no time were they told that the treatment would take an hour or less.  This would have been impossible simply based on the amount of hair they both had and the level of their infestation.  I think [redacted] is confusing our hourly rate with what he believed would be the total cost of treatment.  Again, he was never present in our clinic so we were not able to clarify if this in fact is what he believed.

 

Clients are not forced to receive treatment at Lice Knowing You and we have plenty of clients who just want to be checked and do it themselves at home and plenty who only want to be combed for a certain amount of time because that's all they can afford.  A check is just $10 and if a client wants to receive treatment, we waive the cost of that check.   We are not extortionists and no one is required to receive treatment at our clinic.  If we know ahead of time that money is an issue for the client, we try to work with them so that they can get the treatment they need.  We do more than 150 pro bono treatments a year for clients in need. 

 

 At no time has [redacted] ever tried to contact Lice Knowing You to clarify or discuss these issues. As the CEO, I am a very reasonable person and am very approachable.  I feel as though this is a case of trying to bully a company into getting a refund simply because he does not agree with the purchase his wife made.
