Review: I wanted to get my nails done and just like any other day I went to a place I have heard about and decided to allow them to do so. I was told that my shellac nails with no manicure would be $20. That is all. I waited for 30+ minutes and the store was closing soon but I finally was able to get started. I immediately asked the employee if she has the glitter color nail polish showing her a nail that refered to what I was going for. The employee named [redacted] told me that she will just mix two things together to create that color and that was it. When I said ok I want the color she said ok. Me as a customer still assuming that I'm still spending $20 because I wasn't notified by her, the employee that it pups be an up charge for the color. Then as she started on my nails I them told her that one of my nails broke and I asked her if she could not file it too much because it will hurt & be irritated. She then told me that she can fix it by just putting a fake nail on it and it will be fine but she had to file it just a little so the nail won't pop off. I said ok that's fine. Again, me as the customer still assuming that I'm paying $20 because [redacted], the employee did not notify me of an up charge. We finish & I'm the last person there and they are closed. So I went to pay & the lady at the front desk said $40. I ask her what exactly am I being charged for? She said "didn't you get a manicure?" I said no. She goes and asks Johanna what am I being charged for 2 times & Johanna finally came out & said the fake nail and glitter was more so it came to be $28 for your nails. I said no it's suppose to be $20 she said I'm sorry it's $40. I paid $10 on my card and $30 in cash. They gave me no receipt. I had to rush to a meeting so I paid. I came back the next day's asking to get them redone or a refund and the 1st owner said yes. They then called someone else who also claimed to be the owner and I told her what I returned for, she got angry, cursed at me a told me to leave and never return.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of my $28 or in store credit to redo my nails as I first requested when I returned the next day to the nail shop.
