Review: I have been working with [redacted] to help me/coach me with my intuition. I am not happy with how things are progressing and expressed my concerns to her many times. I have only used half of my sessions with her and do not wish to continue because this coaching is not benefitting me. When I asked her for a refund, she got defensive, blamed me and said there was a no refund policy. This is also what she said to me when I told her she was not authorized to charge my card initially and would not refund my money and told me I had to do the coaching with her. Foolishly, I tried it and gave it a shot and have realized that [redacted] is a bit of a scam artist/quack. She is trying to use a contract from another program we talked about so she doesn't have to refund my money. I am not sure her business address is legitimate as many are listed.Desired Settlement: $1500

Customer’s Statement of the Problem:

I

have been working with [redacted] to help me/coach me with my

intuition. I am not happy with how things are progressing and expressed

my concerns to her many times. I have only used half of my sessions with

her and do not wish to continue because this coaching is not

benefitting me. When I asked her for a refund, she got defensive, blamed

me and said there was a no refund policy. This is also what she said to

me when I told her she was not authorized to charge my card initially

and would not refund my money and told me I had to do the coaching with

her. Foolishly, I tried it and gave it a shot and have realized that

[redacted] is a bit of a scam artist/quack. She is trying to use a contract

from another program we talked about so she doesn't have to refund my

money. I am not sure her business address is legitimate as many are

listed.

Dear Revdex.com of San Diego,

I have included the compliant of my client so I can address the issue that have arisen. If you have any further questions please feel free to contact me directly at: ###-###-####.

[redacted] notified me that she would be contacting you.

[redacted] began coaching with me after talking about doing an intensive weekend I offered at the time. I advised her to start with something smaller as she expressed that she wanted what I had to offer but was afraid. I want only the best for my clients and did not want her to invest more than she was comfortable with so I advised that she start with a session. I gave her a session for $200. She signed my standard client in-take form for the session and after our first session together, she agreed to the Miracle of U Program which is a series of coaching sessions every other week plus a CD series and workbook which I handed to her after our first session. This program is valued at $1500 which was explained to her. We booked our next session together during this time as well. Yes, understanding that she had agreed to this upgrade and I had fully explained it to her, I charged her credit card that she provided to me on after her consent. She said to go ahead and charge the card on file.

I would never charge someone's card unless they told me to.

I delievered what I said I would. This process has worked for many. Some have double and tripled their income but I do not guarentee this for anyone as results are up to them!

I have been in business for over ten years. I'm sorry that [redacted] did not have a good experience and was not willing to complete the process. The truth is the process of intuition requires that one go within to find the answers they are looking for and that nothing is outside of them. The challenge becomes when one is not willing to completly invest themselves in the program, trust and move forward with self-responsiblity for their results and experience. I can only deliever what I say I will.

I hope that this will help you better understand the situation, if there is anything else I can do to shine more light on it please do not hestitate to call me. A copy of the contract is included. Sorry it's hard to read because it's a scaned copy. Just enlarge it!

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

The communication was awhile ago and there seems to be a lot confusion/discrepancies; for instance [redacted] did not advise me to start with something smaller; she tried to push me into the more costly programs and I asked for the one session to get a sample session.

I also disagree with what [redacted] is saying about wanting the best for her clients as I only have witnessed her looking out for her own interests, which has a lot to do with money. She often came to the sessions not fully present, late, disorganized and without structure/plan/intention. She also takes a lot of restroom breaks and uses her phone during our sessions- not very professional. I even got an email from her once saying she was "orbiting the world in love" and couldn't make our appointment.

When I first contacted [redacted], we were talking about a doing an intensive weekend and the standard client in take form I signed was regarding that. The form was filled out very early on in our communication process and there were many changes to what we were doing through email and various phone conversations. She is now trying to hold this contract (in my eyes this contract is void because the weekend program we talked about was canceled) for the 'Miracle of You' program.

At our first session (which was filled with lots of chaos and disorganization), [redacted] had me do a few exercises which I did not feel or learn anything. From this, she told me I needed to do more training. Throughout our time together, she kept changing her mind about what I needed and how I should proceed. She never once explained to me what she had planned for me- only that it would be good for me and she was so excited for me. To reiterate, she never explained what the "miracle of you' program was and how it was going to help me. She told me she wanted $1500 but did not tell me she was going to charge my credit card. I NEVER GAVE HER CONSENT TO CHARGE MY CARD. After trying the program [redacted] promised would change my life, I am realizing she is not who she claims to be. Not only was this program useless/not beneficial to me, as mentioned above, she is not fully present, late, disorganized and comes to the sessions without structure/plan/intention.

I am only asking for $750 to be returned to me as I have only used 1/2 of my sessions. It would be nice to get all of it back since I have not received/learned/benefitted from any of it. [redacted] claims that I have not done the work but I have. I believe in alternative healing modalities and am studying to be a coach myself and can honestly say that I have not received anything or benefitted in any way from [redacted]. Furthermore, if I am paying for a service that I am not happy with it, there should be a way to work something out when the client is not happy. I don't know too many places/businesses that want all the money upfront and then won't be reasonable when the client is displeased. When I asked [redacted], "If you bought something you didn't like, wouldn't you like the option to return it?" She replied "not if it was worn." I responded "I'm only asking to return what was not worn." Then she replied "because I love you, I must hold you accountable to the commitment you made." I feel [redacted] is manipulative and takes advantage of trusting people like myself. I do not believe [redacted] is in alignment of how a coach who wants to help others should act. I do not feel she is acting with integrity and know she has had these problems many times in her past. I have spoken to many coaches regarding their businesses and they all said they would refund a client his/her money if he/she was not happy- this is what a good coach that truly wants to help others would do.
