Good afternoon,*** *** order, ***, was received on Wednesday, 02/28/2018. Orders are processed so that they will be shipped on the following business day. At the time of purchase, a pending charge is placed on the consumer’s credit or debit card account reserving the funds
until the product has shipped, and the charge posts to the customer’s credit or debit account within 3-business days. *** *** order had not yet shipped, so the order status had not changed from the “Awaiting Payment” stage on our website. On the morning 03/01/we received two voicemails from the evening before requesting that the order be canceled, so we coordinated with our distribution center to prevent the order from shipping, as it was being prepared on that date. The charges for the order were voided on that same day. *** *** also called and spoke to one of our representatives on 03/01/to confirm, and she was informed that it could take a few business days for the charge to be removed from her card, but that the order cancellation had already been processed. We also confirmed with our accounting team that the order has been correctly voided, and that *** *** will see the removal of the $charge within the coming business days if it has not already been completed. We received the consumer's email inquiry on 12/21/18 at 6:14pm, outside of office hours, inquiring about an order that was placed on our website. We responded via email to the consumer on the morning of 12/22/17 stating that we could not find the order in our fulfillment system. Therefore a...

technical error must have occurred. We suggested to the to consumer call into our customer service team to discuss the issue further so that we could find a solution. We notified the consumer that in the event they were charged for the order that they would be refunded when they called in. We have not received a follow-up call from the consumer. By calling in would we not only have been able to process a refund for the consumer but it is also our policy to offer discounts towards future purchases for the inconvenience. We would be more than happy to assist the consumer if they would like to reach out to us.
