Very disappointing - Stay away!!!
Inferior customer service. After trying to install this device on my own, I had to pay a plumber to install it and pay a plumber to change the filters. Now that filters have been changed, the purified water reflects 350 impurities when it should be closer to 3. In fact it shows the same levels on alkaline and acidic water filters. And it shows the same level of impurities when I just open my regular, unpurified water. Customer service often gets annoyed and even rude, especially Brian. It was one of the most disappointing experiences, costing me $3000. I agree with other consumers on this site: I would never purchase this product.

After a long wait for a small repair to the faucet and, getting it back. the machine sprung a leak. I phoned and, spoke with Ty the manager (that might be spelled Thai). Anyway Ty said just drop it off and, we'll fix it as fast as possible for you. When I dropped it off Ty said call me tomorrow. Well it was 12:13 when I dropped it off. I wasn't even half way home yet at 12:40 when I got a call from Ty. Ty said "it's fixed. You can come pick it up". WOW!!! Just WOW!!! Ty or, Thai you are the man. Thank you so very much for alleviating my frustration and, getting back off of the bottled water.

I love my life ionizer machine. The quality of the machine is great I have been using it for about 2 years and can not live without it. I have contacted LI a few times over the 2 years with questions or ordering filters and they have always been super helpful and a pleasure to deal with. I definitely would purchase another one from them if I needed it. I have the MXL-13.

I have had their top of the line unit for a year and it has “never” worked right. The acid spigot constantly drips (I was told this is normal?). Once you spend over $2,000 for the unit, there is no assistance unless you beg & beg for help. We ended up paying someone to install what was supposed to be “so easy anyone could do it”. They compensated with filters of equivalent value. I can’t complain there. What I will complain about is their lack of assistance, advise, and follow through. I cleaned the unit, checked the PH and we were NOT getting Alkaline water. Who knows for how long?? I was told to bring the unit in or send it in for cleaning. When I uninstalled my unit, I had step by step over the phone direction by their Advisor Justin. When I drove back to Carlsbad a week and a half later to pick up the unit, I opened my kitchen sink cabinet and had a HUGE flood. Justin neglected to tell me to shut off one more valve, and one of the 1/4” tubes was spurting water all that time. What a mess! So now I worry about mold and we all know what a health hazard that can be. The day I noticed the flood the owner Thai called after I sent him pics of the damage. He suggested I use heat as well as a fan to dry it, apologized for the flood, but said he could not say if his advisor did or did not give me correct information as he was not present. I assured him Justin did not tell me to shut off anything other than what I already had. Thai recommended that I use “their” RO unit instead of our current Culligan RO so we could possibly have our unit work better when we did get it re-installed after I could get the cabinet dried out and damaged wood replaced. We purchased a filter that was not given to us when we picked up the unit and that was never mailed to us. We had to beg for that. I had asked Thai to have Justin call me so I could explain what he didn’t tell me to do so NO ONE would have to go through this again. That call never came. I emailed Thai to no avail. I emailed him again and got a message from Justin that I must have had him confused with someone else. I told him I did not and refreshed his memory and lo and behold he remembered that I did indeed speak to him. I had asked Thai to send me his RO if that was going to help us get the Alkaline water we made this ginormous purchase for. Well, that never came either. I had to beg and beg. I emailed back and forth with Justin and FINALLY he said he was sending me a 3 filter system instead of the RO because they work better with the Alkaline unit. I tried to get an answer on WHY Thai would suggest HIS RO and then Justin recommended a 3 filter filtration instead. I FINALLY got the response that 90% of their customers use the 3 filter filtration because it works better with “flow”. So I go to take out my RO unit and re-install the Ionizer and the instructions that Justin sent me were incorrect. He said to call if I had difficulty and a tech would assist me over the phone. I did that this past Saturday and they said the techs only work Monday-Friday and they could have someone call me Monday. I said I needed someone that day because we had been without a kitchen sink for over a month and I work during the week and I needed assistance. The woman said she’d see what she could do to have someone call me. Well, you know how that went. I’m still waiting and its 3 days later. I did manage to get my RO uninstalled and the Alkaline unit and 3 filter filtration installed without their assistance, but guess what?? After paying $100 for the unit to be cleaned and serviced (only a year later mind you), plus gas back and forth 120 miles each way 2x, we STILL don’t have Alkaline water. After reading the manual, I lowered the “amperage” down to almost nothing and STILL the unit is NOT working right. The PH is 10+ on all 4 settings, an 8 on Purify, and our regular tap water is showing an 8 as well. If I had it to do over again I would NEVER have dealt with this company. I have a $2500 paperweight!!!

I agree with this consumer and then some. Very poor customer service. I had to pay a plumber to install it, and I had to pay a plumber to change the filters. Terrible service. Bad treatment and customer follow-up. There is a person named Camy and sends the wrong products to Mexico and on purpose. We have a paid order since May and we are in August. She doesn't know what she sells. It is not trained. And she is very rude to the people of another country.

1. Hector De la Mora is NOT our customer
2. He is the handyman who placed the wrong order for filters
3. Camie was nice enough to send the actual customer the correct filters at no charge
even though it was Hector who made the mistake
4. Camie asked Hector to dispose of the previous filters and he became angry and abusive to her
5. Camie then transferred Hector to Ricardo, our Technician Manger, and Hector was also rude to Ricardo.
6. As to the statement that Camie and Ricardo are rude to people from another country,
the fact is they are also of Mexican descent.

Life Ionizers treated this customer with respect and we provided excellent service by
sending the correct filters at no charge.

I purchased this product in September 27th, 2017. I told the rep that I would pay but did not need the product until mid 2018
because I was putting in new counters.
I installed the product on June 13th of 2018 with the help of *** (***@earthtrade.com) I continued to work with Mr *** in tech support and with several additional calls in June I got system working (The system took a little longer to install because my kitchen pipes were somewhat different then the average under sink pipes). We eventually got it working with another call on July 2nd 2018 10:54 AM.
I purchased this system based on Earthtrade Water advertisement (https://www.lifeionizers.com).
I also felt that this must be a good company since *** etc gave permission to Earthtrade to use their names. I assumed that anyone who allows their names to be used must have done their due diligence. Iwas wrong!
My system never worked properly, the ph levels never reached the 9, 10, 11 for any length of time nor did it reach the negative ORP. I called in early 2019 and talked to *** with my problem. He continued to work with me,I used ph drops as he instructed to do but we never got working to my or his satisfaction. In early March I talked to Mr *** (***[email protected] Supervisor) who gave me some additional changes but none of them improved the ph for any length of time. Since than I have talked to Thai Cabados (***), ***?, ***, all have told me that my order has been created, I should be patient, It' on a boat from Asia, stuck in the Ports, etc. ITs been since April 4th that they have told me these stories. I can send you e-mails to this effect, Ican send times, dates, phone numbers that shows I called ( these dates and times come from AT&T phone log.

Answer Q1- I believe them. Most business's test products before they are sent to the customer, that does not mean that all tested products work as stated. If that were true there would be no need for warranties. General Motors checks all cars but offers 36 month warranty; Similar guarantees are offered by every major company in America.
Answer Q2- The Company states "We sent it back to *** and he still stated it wasn’t giving pH and ORP", they sent the machine to me once, at the time of purchase. I have never sent the machine to them for repair. Please show medocumentation that the machine was sent to you by me for repair and that you the company then sent it back to me repaired. ===As for ORP- Since the ph level was never attained (by the use of ph drops, I made the assumption that ORP was probably not reaching its range; ( my information on ORP (oxidative reduction potential) came from Robert O. Young, PhD, The pH Miracle page 122-123: and Dr. Gerald Pollack and Structured Water Science, University of Washington professor of bioengineering.
As for ORP testing instruments and sensors costing $1100, I am sure that you are correct. However if you check Amazon the ph & ORP testers start at $25 and go up from there.

Please be patient due to our back orders. As I told you before that we usually exchange units that are over a year old but I was going to approve it for you. This is out of my hands and I am sorry for the delay process. The exchange should go out next order”. ***Or My conversation with with *** on May 24th, 3:47 PM who told me that my unit was on a ship and that it would go out in the next two weeks. These are in addition to conversations I had with ***, and Thai Cabados.

Reply Q1- THIS STATEMENT IS PREPROSPEROUS – A WARRANTY IS IN PLACE SO THAT DURING THE COURSE OF THE WARRANTY, IF SOMETHING HAPPENS, IT IS COVERED

Reply Q 2 – The machine was tested at the factory and then again at the warehouse and the pH and ORP were at the approved levels

ORP testing instruments. A $25 meter is a toy and does not give accurate results. That is why we use a laboratory-grade instrument and his machine tested fine

Q 3, 4 and 5 – Customer was sent a pre-paid Call Tag to return his unit for further testing and if not performing, we would send him a new Ionizer.

HE NEVER SENT THE UNIT IN.

Refund – the refund we are referring to was for filters he ordered. He is now thinking he paid twice for his machine, he only paid once on 9/27/2017 and is confused about getting a refund for a non-existent second payment.

Summary – since he never sent his machine back for testing, he is no longer eligible for an exchange.

I believe them. Most business's test products before they are sent to the customer, that does not mean that all tested products work as stated. Let me clarify
Reply Q1- Companies test there products, but because of transportation, possible part failure, overheating at the consumers home, etc, products may work perfectly at the company level, but through no one’s fault the product breaks or does not work as expected. That is why they have warranties. So I am in agreement No Company Sends out products that don’t work, and if I gave that impression, I apologize because that is was not my intent.

I never said that they didn’t test the machine. I’m sure Life Ionizers tested the Ionizer and when it left the warehouse the pH and ORP were at levels as specified.
But for whatever reason the Ionizer started to break down and the performance started to deviate.

Let’s be clear
On March 8th I placed an order for filters $367.80. I was told that the filters would be delivered in 3 weeks. I never received my filters; therefore, I started the refund process on May 8th with American Express (7 to 8 weeks after placing the initial order).

Dear Mr. RHC
Why would I not send the unit back! I'm holding on to a unit that does not work! why on Heavens earth would I put myself, the Revdex.com or life ionizers through this! The unit does not work! why would I not send it Back!!
I have nothing to gain from holding on to a broken unit that is sitting under my sink!
Again, I never sent anything back: because I was never sent any instructions!
We seem to be going around in circles:
I wonder if who ever is answering my questions has me mixed up with someone else?

Let me make this as clear as possible, I have no confidence in you or your company, I don't want to do business with you. You had an opportunity to take care of this problem in April. You chose to play hardball banking that I would go away. I ordered filters that I never received and had to go back to Am express to get my money back. Why would I trust you now. When you send your responses you don't even have the courage to put a name as the sender. I want my mony back with a restocking fee of 15 %. I'll even take less if you can garrentee me that you'll send the difference to St Judes hospital for kids. You are a terrible corporate citizen, maybe giving part of my moneyto them will set your company in the right direction when dealing with the public.

It is very suspicious that the stars on adverse claims are not showing. According to these reviews, there should be many more negative reviews!

The machine itself was life changing. I am scientifically and biologically inclined so I'm very familiar with water properties etc. I purchased an ORP meter (Oxidation-Reduction Potential) so that I can test the water periodically. I have had it for a few years now and it is still performing extremely well. As of the last test the ORP reading was around -600. This could have went down a bit had I left it standing in the water longer, but I got enough info for my liking and pulled it. I believe when I first got the machine, it was ~-600 to ~-700, for reference.

I believe I tested with pH strips once and everything checked out there as well. Since I have the ORP meter, continually testing the pH is kind of irrelevant, as if the water has a high ORP reading, it would have to be alkaline because there has to be free floating hydroxide molecules for the ORP to read as oxidizing.

In general, I haven't had any problems ordering filters until my very last order. Unfortunately was lied to a few times when chatting in, which was highly unexpected based on past service. Unfortunately in this case, the one filter I need is the one they have on backorder, which really sucks because it puts a halt on some of my activities (working out for example - as this is a water intensive process when refilling ~a gallon daily 5x a week). While the filters are apparently good for 100-200 gallons past when indicating needing to be replaced, I ordered these with around 200 liters showing remaining and now my machine is continually telling me to replace the filter, so trying to restrict my usage now so as not to burn through it.

Before purchasing, I first compared them to Enagic's Kangen machines, which are extremely overpriced due to the MLM component throughout.

Would give five stars if not for the recent tiffs and lying!

In short: Great machines, solid company, but give yourself ample time for ordering new filters lest you risk being caught with your pants down ??

The high ORP from your Life Ionizer is dependent upon the interaction between the water and the Platinum/Titanium plates in the electrolysis chamber. To keep the high ORP you can (and we recommend) clean the plates with the proprietary Citric Acid Cleaning Cartridges that we supply. These will naturally remove the mineral build-up on your plates and provide the high ORP and pH levels. I did check and your filter that was on back-order was delivered last week.

Thanks for the heads up! I do try to clean the machine regularly to keep it at peak performance. Unfortunately in this case - I have received EVERY filter for the machine EXCEPT for the Filter #1 (2) (which is what the machine keeps screaming at me to replace). Hopefully those two ship soon ?? Additionally, do you all no longer offer the shower filters?

I ordered a product on 10/5/18 paid in full that day. I was told it would ship in a week. it was delevered to my house on 11.1.18 I did not except the package I refused it . they receved it on 11.6/18 I have proof I was told I would get my money back in 10 to 14 days.
I have ask for updat on this with no repl back. it is now 15 days. I see a pattern here of not being honest.

This is not an instantaneous process.

The transaction has to go thru our credit card processor.Then it has to go thru their bank.

Then that bank contact the the bank your credit card processor uses.Then that bank contacts your credit card company.

We cannot control the time it takes your card company to post to your account.

I've been ordering from life ionizer for several years and with automatic delivery I never have to worry about changing my filter when necessary. Which saves me a ton of time and money from running out to the store to buy bottled water.

The customer service they provide is one of the best I've encountered. My health as well as my families health has benefited by switching to alkaline water. I no longer have sleepless nights due to acid reflux. My migraine headaches due to dehydration went from 1 a week to zero in a year, since my body is now properly hydrated.

I highly recommend switching to alkaline water with life ionizers, their staff will help you choose the right product to make an effortless transition for you and your family.

I purchased an ionizer from Life Ionizers several years ago and paid over 2000.00 for this product. The filter machine itself is very cheap and not at all worth that much money. The only reason I paid that much is because they have a lifetime warranty. My filter has not been actually alkalizing water for a long time, but when I initially called, I was told that the way I was testing the water wasn't trustworthy, so they told me I needed to purchase special drops from them to test the water. Well, I got the drops and they showed exactly the same PH as my strips had, and the PH was 7 even when the machine read that it should be 11. I called the tech support again, and they asked if I had been using the citrus cleaners on a regular basis, and I told them I had done that every time I changed the filters, which is what is advised. They then said that the plates might need to be cleaned and I should send in the machine to take advantage of the warranty. They sent a preauthorization form that stated that they didn't pay for shipping, but required me to give my credit card number. This seemed a bit suspicious so I asked if I could give them a credit card number over the phone when necessary, and that I also was willing to prepay for the return shipping ahead of time. The shipping one way was $40.00. A week later I received a call from the head of the repair department stating that my filter needed to be cleaned, but the fee was $99.00. I called back and stated that I had been told this should be covered under the warranty. He called back and said that now there is a rule that if you don't clean the filters once a year, the warranty is void. There was no explanation of what he meant by 'cleaning' and this is the first time anyone ever said anything about a limit on the warranty. I will have to spend another $40.00 to get it back, and are not willing to do anything without paying for it. They change the rules of the warranty and constantly lie and are deceptive.

We provide a lifetime warranty exactly as stated in the owner’s manual.

Filters must be changed yearly. This is in the manual and we send out email reminders monthly (she has been reminded over 80 times)

The customer went 4 years without changing filters. Officially, the warranty would be voided, but we did not do this. If filters are changed at least once a year and cleaning filters are used, a deep cleaning would not be needed. Since the machine was not maintained properly, a deep cleaning needed to be done.

I never received any email notices, so I am not sure where you are getting that information. You also do not know how much I used the filter, so it seems ridiculous that you now state that filters need to be changed monthly. On top of this, my sister purchased a filter, as well as filters, and she got so annoyed with not being able to get the filters out that she gave the machine, as well as all of her unused filters to me. Your 'lifetime warranty' is the biggest scam I have ever seen and if you were planning on charging me for a cleaning, then I should have been informed both that I needed to clean the filter, as well as the potential cost before I was instructed to send the filter under the guise that it was covered by the warranty. Youre company is utterly and completely a scam.

HelloWe provide a lifetime warranty on the parts for your sister’s machine as well as a 10 year warranty on labor. The filters are to be changed YEARLY, not monthly. We could tell by the condition of your machine that you had not been cleaning it. Total con job, stay as far away from these theives as possible. Go ahead and check my reviews I’ve not done a single one start review but these con artists don’t even deserve a one star review. Sent me a broken machine and I’ve been fighting with them for months to get a refund. They keep promising refunds, providing bogus PayPal transaction ids, etc etc the list goes on

On December 23, 2017, I agreed to purchase a water ionizer but changed my mind, called the company to cancel the order. They told me they would have to call the manufacturer to cancel the order but that they would issue me a refund. I never received the product so assumed they were able to cancel the order. On January 9, 2018 I received a return authorization form, signed it and returned it. I followed up a week later via email, but heard nothing back. Since then I've called and left several voicemails, emails, to inquire about my refund., but did not get a return call. After several weeks of leaving messages and emails, I called mid-February afternoon and got a voice - someone named Melissa in the accounting department. She stated she would have to check with accounting about my refund. I waiting a week but did not get a follow up call or email so resumed calling and leaving voicemails again. To date (March 2) I still am unable to get in touch with anyone and have not gotten my refund. I never received the product.

I did not receive a refund. Attached is a copy of my *** statement showing transactions December 7, 2017 through March 7, 2018. As you can see on 12/23/18, I was charged $2,497.00 for an ionizer I never received and there was NO REFUND issued at all. Your reference number does not exist.

Please do the right thing and issue my refund.

We did issue your refund through *** last month and I contacted *** and they emailed you directly. The issue appears to be that your credit card companyhas not issued the credit to your account or it could be on you current statement.

I ordered the Life Ionizer Alkaline Water unit and when I received it 3 weeks later and installed it leaked water and quit working immediately. I was told to send it back and they would replace it I did that and I received a replacement. However shortly afterward the unit blew My CFI wall plug and needed to be reset. Then It quit working. My desire is to receive a refund less 15% restocking fee. Their warranty for returns is 90 days for product sold in the USA.

Do to circumstances beyond My control, such as 15 to 21 Days Delivery time and an additional 14 Day replacement time I am eligible for a Refund less 15% Restocking Fee according to their return policy.
I Will Accept That.

Our notes indicate that the customer did not want to do trouble shooting over the phone, but wanted to send the unit in for inspection. For his convenience, a call tag was issued and our warranty center was awaiting the arrival of the unit. We offer a 75 day trial. With the order date set at 12/4/17, the unit would be out of the trial period, but we are willing to accept the return back for a refund according to the return provisions or we can replace the unit with a brand new one, if the customer is not satisfied. We apologize for any miscommunication and hope the resolutions offered will be satisfactory to the customer.

I love my life ionizer! My family and I have had one for almost ten years and it is still going strong. Several of my friends and family members have also purchased from them and they have all had very nice experiences with them. Will has been the best, he is so nice and friendly. I know they had some filter delays a couple months back, but I just ordered mine and got them within a week. Highly recommended!

On 4/27/2017 I called Life Ionizers and spoke to *** about buying the M9X Next Generation Life Ionizer. I gave My Visa Card info. and was
charged $1,997.00. I was told it would ship in a week . I waited 3 weeks before calling *** back to cancel the order. She said she would
give me a refund for the full amount since the order was not shipped as of yet. I was sent a Refund Authorization Form to sign from RightSignature.com.
I signed it and returned it on May 22 2017. I was emailed that the document was signed and is now complete. It is July 13, 2017 and no refund. I have all
supporting documents to back up my claim.
