Review: Frequently sales people from Direct Energy ring my doorbell at my private business, which is closed to the public. They interrupt my and my employees' workday despite the fact that it is clearly written on my door that we are "by appointment only" and accept "no solicitors." Additionally, they often represent themselves as being from [redacted], our energy supplier. The language they use is ambiguous, so that I know they are not from [redacted], but they often trick my young employees who come tell me that "someone from [redacted] needs to check our energy use." What they are actually trying to do is get me to switch energy suppliers to their company. When I point out the no solicitors sign, they insist they are not solicitors, but I don't think they understand the meaning of the word, because they are clearly selling something--their energy source.Desired Settlement: I want these people 1) to stop contacting me and my employees, and 2) stop representing themselves as being from a vendor with whom I do have a relationship in order to gain entrance to my business.

I find their practices unethical and reprehensible.

Review: Direct Energy has phoned my home on a daily basis, sometimes 4 and 5 times a day. They refuse to take me off their phone list and sometimes do not speak when I pick up the phone. This I believe is akin to harassment. I do not want their product and have never contacted them for any reason to inquire about their product. I do not know where they got my phone number and I am at a loss to stop the phone calls that interfere with my at home job and life. Please help.Desired Settlement: Stop calling me
