In 2017, Dr***, began a process to crown of my teethNot even a year passed and of them have already broken looseMuch time and money was spent (thousands out of my pocket) as well as thousands of Insurance coverage dollarsDr [redacted] spoke to the issue in that implants are the only way to correct the issueI just left the new doctors office and my new costs will start of me paying $plus after what my insurance provider coversThe falling out in simply weeks to follow the crowning was never addressed in any discussions we had before the crowning process began...ever! The portions of money I paid for the apparently wrong evaluation by suggesting crowns when implants should have been the obvious procedure to recommendX-rays were taken

I visited the Office in early December they never billed my insurance, Say they sent me bills and then send me letters threatening collections I visited the dental office on 12/1/for a cleaning, Xrays and gen check upI was told I needed to go for a root canal and while I was in NO PAIN I ended up getting a second opinion, ended up that I didn't even need a root canal at allWhen I visited the office they made copies of all of my insurance and other documentationIn late Jan I received a bill for $and it stated that I had a pending insurance claim of $I paid the bill and received nothing more until today 3/7/when I received an extremely threatening collections letterI called my dental Insurance company and they have never received a claim from Metro DentalcareI called Metro dentalcare and supposedly they sent the insurance claim to the insurance company using my SSN and not my policy informationIs that even legal to send my SSN around? I have no idea what is g

I had my teeth cleaned at Metro Dental in Sept and tried to pay for the service at the time Metro Dental in Cn Rapids did not want to accept my payment saying that it would mess up their records as my insurance would probably pay for it After receiving several statement from Metro indicating in the Patient Amount Due area the words "Pending Insurance" and when I called the office I was told not to worry that it sometimes takes insurance companies some time to pay In November I got a letter from my insurance company that they had turn down the claim and at the same time another statement from Metro Dental arrived, again indicating "Pending Insurance." My husband called Metro Dental in Cn Rapids and spoke with billing and asked for a current statement indicating how much was owed, and was told that they would do this right away Never happened! On December 22, I did finally get a proper statement and sent in payment The very next day after paying this bill

My dentist is great, however if you have a flex spending account, don't expect anyone at the office to understand how claims are processedThey demanded payment on the date of service, then once the EOB was processed, our flex spending account paid them again, nearly $1,The staff at the office were extremely rude, did not call when they said they would, and provided conflicting information which only added to frustrationHave yet to be paid

I was denied dental care (no X-rays no dental cleaning) when I did not agree with the recommendation of routine dental X-rays by a dentist at Metro Dentalcare, Richfield, MN locationSince I had not had a cavity in years and I had always been told by multiple dentists at Metro Dentalcare that my exams were fine (except for recession) I did not see the needThe discussion that ensued was condescending and insulting towards meThe reason I was given for the recommendation was that it would allow full evaluation of my oral health and that if they did not do the X-rays and later something was found it would come back on them in terms of liabilityI offered to sign a waiver but this was not allowedI asked to see the policy that dictated no X-rays no care but Metro Dentalcare has said that I do not have a right to view the policyI have since received copies of my dental records that go back to After combing through the records I was astounded to find that there have been multiple abfindings documented over the years which have never been discussed with meThese include abclinical attachment levels, abfraction, gum suppuration (pus), incipient caries, and bone lossIn addition I found that I have been diagnosed with gingivitis and periodontitis but these diagnosis have not been discussed with meMoreover, without treatment my periodontitis seems to resolve from one appointment to anotherWhen I went to another dentist (not associated with Metro Dentalcare) no findings on exam were consistent with gingivitis or periodontitisI have made repeated requests to Metro Dentalcare for a face to face meeting to try and resolve these and other discrepancies (phone calls, certified letters and emails) and just received a condescending, arrogant, paternalistic, and insulting letter from what I believe is their main office in Roseville, MNThe letter stated that I do not have the right to review their policy of refusal of care and review of my conflicting diagnoses are not within my rights as a patientI did present a formal compliant to the Minnesota Board of Dentistry but the case was closedUnfortunately the case was handled in a superficial and dismissive manner and did not make use of accurate documentationIn addition, I have found by reviewing my husbands dental records that we have been billed for X-rays that were never takenA complaint has been filed with the Minnesota Attorney Generals Office, the Minnesota Department of Commerce, fraud division, and Metlife Dental Insurance special investigations unitMy recommendations to anyone who receives care at this clinic is to ask for a copy of ALL of your dental records after each visit (they will only offer a one page note but each visits generates at least 4-pages of documentation) and review it carefully for inconsistencies and discrepanciesAlso pay close attention when you receive a billThe dental insurance companies do not ask for proof of service for routine X-rays and routine care so the bills can be coded inaccurately for services not rendered and the insurance company will not question itThat will be up to the consumerSadly I have learned this too lateMy other recommendation is that you try to seek routine dental care with a private dentistMetro Dentalcare is a huge conglomerate that has been dismissive and dishonestIt is hard to fight such a large protected company

I received dental care at Metro Dental Speciality care clinic in June to see a Maxillary Oral Surgeon Prior to attending the consult appointment I contacted my insurance to make sure the provider was in my network which was the case I also verified what diagnosis were included under my policy When I received my bill all costs were denied I called my insurance and was told that Metro Dental had submitted incorrect codes for the care received The billing staff told me if the dental staff resubmitted the the bill the insurance would pay a portion, that I did indeed have medical coverage for the care received I have spoken to the clinic manager and other staff at Metro Dental who told me that they understand they have a billing problem and are working on it I have shared all the recommendations from my insurance Blue Cross with the staff at Metro Dental So far no progressBlue Shield has requested additional information from the clinic as well which they have not recei

I scheduled an appointment 3/2/with Metro Dentalcare, Tuyet ***, DDSI have dental insurance through Delta DentalUpon oral examination, I was told my bill for a core buildup would be $and none of the services would be covered by my Delta Dental insuranceI processed a Visa debit card payment of $However, Dr***'s office processed a claim through Delta Dental upon my departure On 3/11/16, I received an Explanation of Benefits from Delta Dental indicating that 50% of the core buildup was covered by insuranceA Delta Dental payment of $was sent to cover the serviceWhen I contacted Metro Dentalcare office to ask that $previously paid by me and now covered by Delta Dental be returned to me, I was told "the $is on HOLD." There are no further appointments scheduled and there is absolutely no reason for Metro Dentalcare to hold and not refund my overpayment Since this money came out of my finances, it should not be held by Metro Denta
