Thank you for contacting us regarding this matter! Given the fact that Miss *** has signed a Hipaa release form, we feel we can discuss this case Unfortunately, the information this patient has presented to you is complete falsehoodMrs*** presented to our office for
some emergency treatment on a Friday after PM which is our closing time outside of business hours Given the fact that she was in discomfort, we agreed it was our ethical responsibility to stay after hours to treat her symptomsThe first part of her treatment was completed and future treatments were discussed and presented to herShe scheduled five appointments to continue treatmentHowever, continued to cancel these appointments without prior notice The policy of a hour cancellation notice was discussed with her by different members of our team including the doctor himselfWe waived of the missed appointments for her as a courtesy even though she did not extend us anyWe have included an email from her stating she understands these chargesHowever, after the fifth time that she canceled her 2-hour appointment, she was dismissed as a patientThis is when all the issues aroseShe has been harassing or practice through threatening phone calls and emails using foul language and inappropriate insults We have turned over her case to our attorney for follow up on the charges of harassment and defamation of characterWe are in the process of taking legal action against this individual We urge you to read all these emails to determine the extent of harassment we've been facing Dr*** is a phenomenal dentist who goes above and beyond for his patientsHowever, every practice has their protocols and guidelines under which they need to operate to be able to serve their patients to the best of their ability Unfortunately, Mrs*** is a disgruntled former patient who is using a social media platform to run her agenda which is to smear the reputation of a highly respected dentist We would be more than happy to discuss this further should there be any questions.thank you for the opportunity to respond to these allegations

I am rejecting this response because:
Regards,
[redacted]This is s complete fabrication of the actual events. I too am working with my attorney. I was extremely patient, polite and tried numerous times to work with them even though they tried to make me jump through hoops to get any money back. We put half  the cost of the dental implant on my husbands credit card which they said they would need him to send a signed authorization to use. I guess he forgot, they charged the card anyway and then told be they needed his authorization to issue a check. Makes no sense. It was only after over a month of them completely ignoring and rudly dismissing my questions about all of these charges that I had had enough of it. Another lie, I was sent a HIPPA ROI I have not signed or returned it to the office. So that is false. Also when I initially went to the office I was not in pain. Yes I needed dental work on a cracked tooth but it was not an emergency to do it right that second and had I been informed that I wS getting charged for an emergency fee and that they were staying late and I'd be charged for that too, I would have waited until the next day. I didn't even know until now they stayed Adt their regular hours. They never said anything and since have not been communicating with me to try and resolve any of my concerns. I have not been harassing them at all I just want simple answers to questions they clearly cannot legitimately anwser. If anything they have been insulting and condescending towards me. In reference to the missed appointment fees. I did notify them, although it was short notice due to events out of my control, it was not a no call no show. Also $999 is outrageous, so yes legally you have to have authorized documentation from the patient before applying a fee. They don't have anything and the only reason I wrote an email discussing the fees is because I thought I had signed something. Only once I went through all documents I realized it is not stated anywhere. Yes it was discussed after the fact with an employee but it's not as though I knew about the fees and unlisted policy beforehand. In my mind they completely ripped me off, stole money from me and then had the audacity to continually ignore my questions and respond with lies about having a central office, saying they ordered my implant (when the impressions were never made) ect.  I will attach some of our email correspondence

There seems to be some misunderstanding on Mr. [redacted] part. The amounts charged to Mr. [redacted] card were due to a portion of the treatment that was not covered by their insurance and the $50 charge was for a missed appointment fee. Mr. [redacted] son did not show up to a one hour appointment...

he had scheduled. Our policy clearly states the charge up to $199 for a missed appointment fee of which we only charged him $50 for not coming to the appointment. We will be more than happy to explain this to Mr. [redacted] one more time  if he would like to contact us directly.  We have a copy of our policy that was signed by his son. Please let us know if there any questions or if we can be of any further assistance.  Thank you
