Review: This is an Alert System to be used by the elderly to call for help if needed. My mother was wearing the device and it was set up properly. She fell in her home and needed help to get up. She used her alert system, but it failed. She knew she needed help or she would have spent the night on the floor of the bathroom. She managed to scoot and pull herself about 10 feet to her landline phone. When called by phone the business could not explain why the system was not working and could not get the system to work. They admitted the system failed and the call center admitted the last time they had received a signal from my mother was on June 30. The fall occured on October 13. The company assured me that they would send the part needed by Wednesday of the same week. She did not received the part until Saturday. Unable to depend on her alert system , she could not stay alone. We hired someone to stay with her until the part was received.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the months of August, September and October, because she had no service. I would like to be refunded for the cost of having a caretaker stay with my mother while the unit was not working. I would like a refund for the cell phone service I had to activate, to allow her to make calls for emergency service while the unit was down
