Lifeline Recovery L.L.C Reviews (1)

Review: My husband was a resident at the treatment facility. I gave them rent through my bank account and was told that I would be involved in his treatment. But I was never contacted or updated. I visited the facility at least 4 times. Every time I did, I was not greeted. In fact, I would stand in the entry for long periods (5-10 minutes) before anyone would ask what I wanted. Originally my husband was suppose to be on a 30 day blackout. But I saw no restrictions or boundaries set at all. My husband was given a cell phone under the conditions that it could only be used for job search during specific times of day. It was never taken away at the agreed upon times. In fact, he usually had it all night. My husband was found to have an inappropriate relationship with the house manager of the women's home next door. It was discovered later that the woman, [redacted], was known to be a bad influence. But she was allowed to have contact with the men in the home. She was fired, which I appreciate. But since she was the wife of one of the other managers, [redacted], it made things complicated and awkward for my husband's treatment. There is no way my husband could get adequate treatment in a facility where he was viewed as the enemy from the staff. There was no effort to try to get him somewhere else. They simply kicked him out, allowed him back in to sign paperwork stating that they would not be responsible if he was kicked out again, acted considerate to get a second check from me, then kicked him out again. The most disturbing thing is that once my husband was kicked out, the husband (Bill) called my personal cell phone at midnight and harassed me! When I contacted [redacted] Jackson, the same woman who assured me that her program would bend over backward for me and my family, she said, "Your husband isn't in the program anymore. I don't need to talk to you." I had just paid the second month in full. I was still a customer! And why was her staff harassing me when I was a victim too? This is horrible treatment of the communityDesired Settlement: I would like my 2 months of rent returned (2 x $500). My husband was not in their facility for half of that time. This treatment facility is trying to educate and rehabilitate people by acting like animals themselves?? No one should pay money for that. The need some serious education themselves. The need to be strong with the clients, no the family members paying to help their loved ones. And NO staff should be harassing family. Why did [redacted] have my number? I never gave it to him. HIPPA??

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: the business did not address my specific issues at all! And that is the basis for my complaint in the first place.
