Lifesigns Physical Examination Ctr.

I was between Primary Care Physicians so I called Life Signs prior to my initial visit to ask whether they could call in a 90 day mail order prescription for my blood pressure pills. Life Signs (Prevention Group) assured me repeatedly that they could. Two weeks after I left the appointment, I only received a 30 day supply of my meds. When I called to tell them they said that I would get another 30 days worth when the first supply runs out. That never happened. Today I read an email saying that my mail order prescription account was suspended because of this particular prescription. I called them to tell them what Life signs said about me getting the meds every thirty days they said I would have been charged full price($30) every thirty days. I told them I am not going to pay $1 per pill for any drug. They said it was Life Signs fault for calling in a 30 day prescription and not calling in a 90 day. When I called to tell the people at Life Signs of the oversight on their part the young lady told me that she would have a director call me back. I let her know that I had been without my meds for 2 months based on their error, then I thanked her and hung up. When I received a call back it was another young lady who was very defensive and argumentative who told me that she called the mail order company and they told her that my account was suspended because I was delinquent and thats why I never got my meds not because of them She also said that they werent going to call in a 90 day precript and that it was up to me to call them every 30 days. I told her I wasnt told that. She would not let me get a word in edgewise. Any attempt on my part was met with her talking over me and then finally asking if I had been without my pills for 60 days. I said yes. Then she asked did I want to have a stroke. This kind of rudeness is intolerable and I just wished her a good day and when I went to hang up the phone while she yelled that she called in some pills to tide me over until my next doctors appointment. I told her that I didnt want her to do anything for me. To make such a comment was going too far.
This is my first day back at work after the holidays. The email saying my account was suspended was sent after I had gone on vacation. The account was suspended and delinquent because they only sent 30 days worth of pills so why would I pay for 90? The mail order drug company apologized profusely, and credited me back for the 60 pills I didnt get and my account was no longer delinquent. Life Signs or Prevention Group did not apologize or do anything else to right their wrong. I am now writing letters to everyone else on the staff and with the Revdex.com (and telling anyone else who will listen) to make them aware of just how horrible my experience with Life Signs or Prevention Group was.
