Review: I had a man come to my house working for Lifespeed Technologies in Spokane. He was a tv/internet/phone company local guy. I decided to try switching to [redacted] from [redacted] and gave him my financial information to run a soft credit check. I told him that I had to talk to my husband who was at work and I would let him know if we were ok to go ahead or if we did not want to. He gave me his cell phone number and told me to just go ahead and text him with the information. When my husband got home he had additional questions regarding this so I texted the service guy. He did answer my question but then sent another text with a smiley face. My husband decided it felt off and we did not want to switch. I planned on calling in the morning to cancel the installation. At 7:30 pm he text me a picture of his dogs giving me their name and saying lol. I text him back that I felt that was unprofessional and to cancel my installation for tomorrow. I became very unsettled and creeped out by this. In the morning I went and cancelled my debit card that I had given him my information to run the credit check. I felt his behavior was strange and I was very uncomfortable with him having my financial information. I tried to call the company he works for and every number I could find on the internet was disconnected. I had the address so I decided to drive by and see if they had a sign with a new number. I drove by and it was a residential house with no sign stating it was a business. I then contacted [redacted] network and they did have all of my information and were able to tell me that Lifespeed technologies is an authorized dealer for them. They finally were able to get me a number for them. [redacted] cancelled my account. I then tried the number that they gave me and it was also disconnected. So this man did work for [redacted] because they do have my information but he also acted in an unprofessional manner and I am unable to contact anyone with the company to complain or make sure that my information is shredded.Desired Settlement: I would like to be able to talk to the person who owns the company and complain and be assured that my financial information is being shredded and to let them know how their employee is acting with the public.
