Review: On May 3, 2013 we signed an agreement with **. [redacted], Owner, to have our deck refaced with his product, a no-maintenance vinyl. He indicated on this agreement a start date of 6 to 8 weeks from date of contract, estimated completion 2-3 days. He requested half of the cost which was$6,700.00 be paid at time of May 3rd, 2013 visit, and unpaid balance of $6635 to be paid upon completion of the work/project. We waited all summer for the work to be done contacting **. [redacted] asking why no one showed. He stated they were behind and the color of material we chose was not being produced fast enough. He never initiated calls to keep us posted on status.It is now soon to be one year later and nothing has been done. We called and asked for a refund of our down payment but no satisfaction. I left a message stating I wanted our money back andhe never responded to it. He hasn't returned my husband's latest call. $6700 is a lot of money to just write off. The right thing to do since no work was ever done is to return our money!!Desired Settlement: We ask that our $6700.00 paid on May 3rd, 2013, be refunded to us.

Review: On January 19th 2014 the owner of this company drew up a contract for 10 new windows to be installed in approximately 6-8 weeks. As of this date nothing has been done. I emailed (3 times) the owner. The first two times he responded with excuses, and the 3rd time I have been ignored. I placed a $2300 deposit and the remainder was to have been paid on completion of work. I have been more than patient with this company. This is the first time out of the 3 times I have done business with this company that I have been dissatisfied with their service. I am on a fixed income and cannot afford to lose $2300. If I do not get results very shortly there will be legal action against them.Desired Settlement: 10 new windows installed prior to September 1, 2014. My $2300. returned.

Review: The work did not start until months after it was supposed to be started. Contract stated 4 to 5 days for completion but took months to finish. Had to keep calling contractor to keep getting them to show up to perform the work. Work to our deck was done by different installers. The work done was very poor craftsmanship.Problems with the railings, trim,fastners,vinyl decking, etc. The owner promised a lot of things that he never did.Currently there are many problems with our deck. I pointed out the errors to our deck and he stated he would send his best people to do the corrections. The owner never did. We tried to contact him via certified mail and phone. He is not responding.Desired Settlement: I would like to have all errors repaired as soon as possible. The work must be done by an experienced and certified deck installer.

Review: Company installed windows and doors. Assured me lifetime warranty; but when I called to have them fix my storm door could not establish contact through mail, phone, cell phone. Am now having to deal with a broken door instead of warranted door I pay for. I am a veteran's widow on a very fixed income and cannot afford to replace something that should have lasted me for the rest of my life. I cannot put the window back into the door and this creates a problem in the winter.Desired Settlement: I just want my door fixed so the cold air stays out and the warm air stays in. I do not think this is such an unreasonable request.

Review: I ordered Three Replacement Windows December 11 2013. I have tried with no success to contact the Company by phone. I have left my call back number on several occasions. When I purchased the windows in December The Company informed me that I would have the windows by early January. I have tried the cellphone and any other numbers. The purchase price of the windows was$600.00. I also contacted the window manufacture with no success.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund or the windows.

Review: Contract was signed to purchase and install vinyl railing and a new sliding glass door through Lifetime Choice Windows in May in a 4-6 week time frame. Railing was installed in July. Incorrect sliding glass door installed in September. Now 6 months after purchase date, owner has not returned calls for replacement/repair of vinyl railing which bent and replacement of the incorrect sliding door. Existing door is not properly sealed nor does it have the added safety feature of a foot lock which was included in the purchase. Verbal discussion months ago that our 50% paid balance for products/services/installation is now paid in full due to delay of products, giving us a $0 balance.Desired Settlement: Repair railing, properly install the correct sliding door with proper seal and foot lock and documentation of $0 balance on our account.

Review: I made a contract with Lifetime Choice Windows on 10-20-13, and I paid the full $10000 in advance ( which I now know was bad practice). The windows were to be installed 5-7 weeks from the time of the signing. That time elapsed and **. [redacted], the owner told me he was running behind. I accepted this and we assured me the windows would be in for the holidays. Through most of December I was unable to reach [redacted], and left messages when his voicemail box was able to accept them. He finally answered and continued to push the job back until I cancelled the contract in the begninning of February, and required a full refund of my money. [redacted] wrote me a post dated check on 2-12, for 2-21-14. I went to cash the check today and put this ordeal behind me, and the check was bad. I cannot replace the windows in my home until this money is received, and with the poor condition of them, my heating bills have been astounding.Desired Settlement: Since his check will not currently be accepted. I would like my full $10,000 refund in cash. I will continue to check with the bank about the check until there is a resolution.

Review: On 7/31/13, first interaction with [redacted], owner of Life Choice Windows and Life Choice Deck FitterReceived bid for our job (installation of deck fitter vinyl cover on deck, new deck railing and deck gatesThe total bid was $11,He requested half of the contract price up front ($5,500)We obliged and gave him a check for that amountThe job was to be started in weeks after the bid....beginning of September Would take to days to completeHe never called us and the date of our job passedHe said that he had not received our materials due to the color we orderedI called back in October, asking when the job would be completed and he said soonI called again at the end of October, and he pushed the date back againIn November, I called to cancel the contract and followed up with sending the cancelled copy of the contract on 11/23/After many phone calls, he kept saying over and over that we were priority and he would get our monies returnedWe have gone through [redacted] for two months, still no moniesToday, February 26, we filed a civil claim at the District Magistrates office in [redacted]A constable will be delivering a letter to him shortlyWhile at the District Magistrates Office, we learned that he, [redacted], owner of the company has had other civil claims filed against him in [redacted] COunty..one for $1,and other for $4,He is taking peoples monies and not doing the workHis license number is 059062.Desired Settlement: Return of our deposit of $5,plus any fines and for thepain he has caused us due to the loss of this money
