I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me as long as the business is accurate with whom they are dealing withWhat I mean is, neither myself or my wife had fillings as they stated in their responseWe both had a cleaning and full X-raysI understand paying a copay, but never have myself or my wife paid a copay for any services while being a patient at that office and our insurances did not changeAs long as our bills are clear, as we should not pay for the changes they made in their ownership and billing practices without our knowledge, then the resolution is satisfactory

I looked into this patients account for you to see what was going on. As it shows in the patients account the dental cleanings we did for the patients were in fact paid at a 100% by the insurance company.  The patients balance is coming from the patient’s dental fillings that were...

completed.  When patients have insurance it is up to the patient to pay their copay to the dental office and then the insurance will pay what they are responsible for.  This patient did not pay anything out of pocket like they should have per their insurance policy.  Due to the fact that we did not have a documented financial agreement with this patient we have written off the balance for these patient.  Any future treatment the patient needs to understand that it is an insurance estimate only. It is the patients responsibility to understand their own insurance and we will file it for them as a courtesy, but they are responsible for the balance if insurance doesn’t pay their bill in full. Please let me know if you have any questions Thank you, Tracy P[redacted]Director of Operations
