I appreciate Mrs Marlene F* response how ever we have provided proof that she initialed she understood her garage door and operator were separate components and we worked on her door not operator

There is a fine line between the truth and what this man, the owner of the company , Lifetime Garage doors has stated incorrectlyI have done business with Casa Grande Door for many years and because of his excellent service, his company has grown and is very busy in Casa Grande, as a result I was unable to wait until he could come to San Tan ValleyThe garage door was not moving up or down and when the technician worked on it I was busy with a client, he said it was complete, so I signed and initialed his paperwork and gave him my credit cardAs he was leaving I pushed the automatic opener and it was not working as he saidI hollered after him as he was leaving and he decided that we needed two new eyes, which he put onThe door at that point still did not workThe technician then went to the opener at the wall and held down the button, which made the door partially move, he held the button down, (in his words ) "I'm trying to force the door to open and close"After that did not work, he looked at the operator and said it was fried and I needed a new one, also, that I could go to *** *** and buy one a lot cheaper there, he said, I could keep the new eyes he put onI told him, " I don't really need them because new electric eyes come with the new operatorReynold Stienke was a very angry man to try and talk to, he also thinks he is very clever in the way he uses the word "witch" in reference to my nameThe only reason I decided to even take my time and write to the Revdex.com is because I don't want somebody else to get taken advantage of like I did

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Upon receiving the response from [redacted] (Lifetime Garage Door) I am not in agreement with their response for many reasons.  First of all, only 2 different techs came out to my house to view the garage door, not three as they claim.  Secondly, they only came out to my house 4 times not 7 times as they claim.  I have indicated in the past to the manager [redacted]) I believe that is who the manager is.  Now another person is responding other than who I spoke with.   I would like to bring someone else out to check the problem, as I feel they did not properly diagnose correctly.  And of course, he indicated he would not pay for me to do this.  Now the person responding to this complaint's solution is to send out a company of their choosing.  No, the company that will come out to my home will be of my choosing.  I am the customer - I will make the decision.  In his response and when the tech came out, he indicated by removing the paint because of the hot summer months, the door will not adhere therefore; problem resolved.  No - the problem is not resolved, now that the temps have cooled down dramatically.  I still have a garage door that stalls upon opening.  Obviously, this business does not know how to properly diagnose the problem on a house that is only 3 years old and I am already having the spring replaced.  This doesn't sound correct.  I think they charged me and installed an item I perhaps did not need - to create a greater cost than what I actually needed.

I appreciate Mrs Marlene F[redacted] response how ever we have provided proof that she initialed she understood her garage door and operator were 2 separate components and we worked on her door not operator.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Before your response to my Revdex.com complaint I received a phone call apologizing and offering to fix the problem for free. I can't just leave my garage door open all night so I had already gotten it fixed. I then look on Revdex.com to see you making up more stuff and changing your story. So either your company is 2 faced or is not communicating with itself properly because the things the lady says to me over the phone and the things your techs/online states are very different.

The first picture was taken while your investigative tech was at my home (I used his ladder to take the picture). As you can clearly see the bolt is in the bracket (not on top of or in the lip of the garage where it could fall off, so that statement you provided is false). The picture also shows how the bolt does not go through the hole of the spring. I have time and date of this picture taken.

The second picture shows how the bracket has both holes to properly mount the bracket. (the investigative tech stated that your company recommended that I replace that bracket because it was missing a hole to attach the spring) You have changed your story by stating that I tampered with the bracket and removed the bolt and placed it on the the garage where it would have fallen off if the tech had left it there. This is false ((see pic one)), but you still state that you recommended that I replace this bracket. So now that you no longer recommend replacing this bracket because of the missing hole. What is your cause for recommendation, as the bracket has no damage done to it and serves no purpose other than mounting the spring to. You NEVER recommended I replace the bracket. I did no short cuts. The only option I was given by your company was to either put 1 spring on the garage like its had for the 5+ years I have had it, or upgrade to a 2 spring setup.

All you have done so far is motivate me by calling me a liar and defiling my character. Believe me I don't "like" having to fix my garage on an extremely busy day. I would never take "shortcuts" when it comes to my garage. I had a broken garage about 4 years ago and it caused my family to be the victim of a home invasion in the middle of the day with my sister grandma and 2 year old cousin in my house. That garage will never go unfixed and left open all day. Your company is responsible for the safety of peoples homes and to go through all this and ruin your relationship with a customer over a $120 that is obviously at the fault of your tech is despicable.

If this can not be handled over Revdex.com I WILL go to court. I no longer just want the money. I want a apology and admittance of your faults and a promise your company will never pull something like this again. You put peoples safety and personal items at risk by leaving them hanging and screwing them over.

Regards,

What an amazing company! I felt that the customer service was very accommodating and always went above and beyond what was expected. The service men would actually stop working to answer any of my questions and gave very helpful suggestions. And the best part, I couldn't believe the price....very, very affordable. I would recommend Lifetime Garage Doors to anyone! I am a very satisfied customer.

There is a fine line between the truth and what this man, the owner of the company , Lifetime Garage doors has stated incorrectly. I have done business with Casa Grande Door for many years and because of his excellent service, his company has grown and is very busy in Casa Grande, as a result I was unable to wait until he could come to San Tan Valley.
The garage door was not moving up or down and when the technician worked on it I was busy with a client, he said it was complete, so I signed and initialed his paperwork and gave him my credit card. As he was leaving I pushed the automatic opener and it was not working as he said. I hollered after him as he was leaving and he decided that we needed two new eyes, which he put on. The door at that point still did not work. The technician then went to the opener at the wall and held down the button, which made the door partially move, he held the button down, (in his words ) "I'm trying to force the door to open and close". After that did not work, he looked at the operator and said it was fried and I needed a new one, also, that I could go to [redacted] and buy one a lot cheaper there, he said, I could keep the new eyes he put on. I told him, " I don't really need them because new electric eyes come with the new operator.
Reynold Stienke was a very angry man to try and talk to, he also thinks he is very clever in the way he uses the word "witch" in reference to my name. The only reason I decided to even take my time and write to the Revdex.com is because I don't want somebody else to get taken advantage of like I did.

Lifetime Garage Doors stands behind all there work and warranties as you can see from what other customers are saying. Mr [redacted] called up today we immediately dispatched a technician when the technician arrived and inspected the door he notice there was one of the bolts sitting on top of the garage...

door the other in the spring mounting it to the anchor plate now this door has been working for months and after a technician finish a job they will operate the door a few times to verify it is working correctly and in this process it is impossible for that bolt to remain on the lip of the door why door is operating therefor this door was tampered with prior to are technicians arrival and probably by home owner Mr [redacted] who stated he likes to fix things himself and has an automobile in his garage completely disassembled and was as well when 1st tech arrived. we offered to fix the door for $119 the torsion tube was bad and so was anchor plate Mr [redacted] declined the spring we installed on door in the past was not broken this was a new issue that could have been avoided if customer would have made proper repairs the 1st time we were out instead of try to cut corners. We also have an invoice with his signature on it and his initials by the parts that were recommended to be replaced the 1st time. again Lifetime Garage Doors stands behind there warranty 100%

On 3-17-16 Marlene F[redacted] called Lifetime Garage Doors stating her garage door was not working we then dispatched a technician who had diagnosed the issue as a hung door and then proceeded to explain to Marlene there would be a labor charge of $150 witch Marlene agreed to pay after technician...

My conclusion is service purchased by Marlene you complete and done so accurately and decline any refund or further services to Marlene F[redacted].
