He approached me (door to door sales) and I agreed to purchase maintenance service on door....
he then convinced me to purchase and have him install (10) new rollers.
He used Dishonest Business practices - showing worn garage door parts that are not from my door to convince me to have him install new parts (rollers).
I saw him make the switch, but wanted the new rollers in any case.
He was Very high priced. Charged $35 for the maintenance and $170 for the rollers.
He probably only worked 30 minutes.
I priced the same rollers at Home Depot -entire bag of 10 rollers is around $20.
He Did not have enough rollers to complete the job.......he lacked (2).
He Promised to return by 10 am following morning. (3-24-20)
He Invoiced for the entire amount and was paid for the entire job.
At 10 am the next day, he did not show, and I called him at 10:30 am. No answer but he called me back and He explained he had forgotten about coming, and would come at noon or maybe earlier.
I called at 1 pm when he was again a no show. No answer or response.
I text messaged him at 1:30 pm asking when he would be coming. No response.
I called and left a voice message at 2pm telling him I was irritated and asked him to call me.
No returned call or response.
I am still left with an incomplete job, that I paid way too much for.
I stayed home so I would be home when he came to get this taken care.
I didn't even dare go into my basement, because my doorbell isn't working, so I wanted to
be upstairs with my door open so I could see him when he came.
