Hello,This is ***’s *** son , my Father gave me authorization to write the complaint and respond to anything regarding Mr*** and his Company Life Touch Consultants, due to my Father has a learning disability where he cannot read and write , so there is no way my Father can write an email that’s why he gives me authorization to write and respond As to Ms***’s allegations that Mr*** was referred to my father as a housewares consultant is UNTRUE!!! All this started when we lost to foreclosure( we were still there when we met Mr*** we had a few weeks to vacate property) my previous property at *** ** *** ** * *** ** due to a fraud which we are handling now and that is another issueMy uncle goes to a restaurant in Long Beach that is called Antojitos Mexicanos at *** *** ** *** *** ** *** and my Uncle and the owner of the restaurant started having a conversation and my uncle mentioned to the owner what I was going through with the property on Arbutus she told him that she had A Real Estate Agent (Mr***) that can help my father with this issue, she said Mr*** was helping her purchase a property The first day we met Mr*** was at the property on Arbutus he met with me, my Father , my Mother and my Oldest sister *** and we explained to him the situation of the Arbutus Property , Mr*** said he would look into the issue and see if there was anything he can do to help us get back the propertyMr*** said to us if he couldn’t help us save the house he can assist us on purchasing a new property, we told him that we had a few friend cosigners that can help us qualify for a new property, that same day after the meeting he went to my sisters ***’s house in Torrance to pick up our cosigners taxes, bank statements etc., to pre-qualify us for a loan A few days after our meeting he had he mentioned to my father that he sold housewares and water filters and that If my Father purchased one it will help him improve his credit score for the purchase of the new house So he took his word and trusted him , My Father did not mention anything about the filter to me or my sister A few days after that Mr*** told my Father he needed a check for $2000,to open Escrow for the new purchase of the house, which was weird to my father because we didn’t have a set property that we wanted to make an offerMy Father and all of us thought Mr*** was loyal and will not do anything abto us since he knew the heartbreak we were going of losing our house of more than yearsOn July 8,Mr*** went to the Arbutus property to pick up the $2,check my parents were still hesitant about giving him the check so my father asked him who do we make the check to Mr*** told them that he will fill it out just have my mother sign it , so he did my father does not know how to read so it was pointless to look at the check, my father told him he needed a copy of that check Mr*** refused and said I will provide a copy later, My Father said NO!!! I need a copy now since my Father needed proof of the check so they went to a store and made a copyA few days later my Father mentioned to me and my sister *** that he had gave him the check for $2,its for escrow, we said we don’t even have a property and that MR*** had filled it out we were worried because we did not have a property in mind and we have been taken advantage before, Immediately my sister called him and text him and no response, we have a few text messages when Mr*** communicates with myself and My sister we are working with cell phone provider to give us all text messages conversations between us and Mr., *** so for his wife to say that Mr*** never dealt with me and my sister is UNTRUE When he finally contacted my sister he will give her the runaround and to believe in him everything was fineSince my Father believed in him they kept house searching, I did not agree because I had a bad feeling about all this , Mr*** will take my parents and my sister house hunting till they finally liked a property on Barron St, In Compton we put an offer for that property it was accepted, one night we they went to see the property to see how the neighborhood was at night, that night Mr*** handed the filter to my sister in her hands since my father had no home, filter is still at my sisters garage in box because it’s useless to them Why would my father want to buy a filter if he was basically homeless!!!!! He just agreed because Mr*** told him it will help his credit score to purchase new home So if I really wanted to purchase the filter he would of paid it in full not got financed, that check was not a RESERVED check or for the Filter it was for Escrow, Mr*** made out that check to his company without my father’s Authorization!!! My father stopped making payments for the filter because I needed answers from Mr*** and of course I will get the runaroundA few days later he asked my father and sister for $2,to open Escrow for the property on Barron St .My sister asked him where is the other $he had no answer ,I told him if you have the $In escrow that my father gave you on July 8,than there should be a total of $in Escrow he even went behind our backs and asked one of our co-borrowers for $after we told him not toWe wanted to cancel the purchase because we knew something was wrong , he will ignore all calls, texts never wanted to give us copies of any documentsThan he takes off to Chicago for Vacation and leaves us without giving explanations!!! The Purchase fell out of Escrow we waited for him to return from vacation to get our $back from Escrow he gave us the run aroundFinally my sister *** did research contacted the listing Real Estate Agent and Escrow we received the check for only $ , *** contacted Mr*** immediately to ask him about the remaining $and he told her he will call on Monday and ask but they had already told *** only $were depositedWe can go on and on about Mr*** all my Father wants is his money back , we talk to the filter finance Company to explain the situation they said my Father was cleared on the filter, We have the un used filter we wish to return it and get our full amount back *** contacted the Broker that is now in the building where Mr*** use to work at and told *** that he use to work there but he left because they had a fallout, the Broker tried to help us and contacted Mr*** a few times and he told her he will contact us , but nothing!!! Than the Broker contacted Mrs*** and told her since we didn’t hear from them we were going to proceed with legal action, Mrs*** contacted the Broker and told her to tell *** that she will send a check to us, she did but it didn’t have funds a few weeks later the Broker contacted *** and told her Mrs*** had contacted her to please tell me to wait on the check because they were waiting on some money, just gave us the runaroundAll we want is this matter to be resolved My father is an honest man and will never do anything to hurt peopleMrs*** is not correct MR*** did deal with us (his children) myself and *** NEVER met Mrs***!!!All of a sudden he didn’t want to talk to us!!!!He even had the owner of the restaurant call my parents to find out what we were doing against himHe took month’s to return our and co-borrowers documentsHe was also going to help my friend purchase a house , but my friend called us and said he offered them a filter as well he did to my father and asked them for $deposit before they even had a house I said no don’t give him nothing and don’t buy a filter, Mr*** went to their house but my friends turned him awayIf needed I can get their info Attached are copies of checks with no fundsCheck he made out to company without my parents’ permissionReal Estate card with Mr***’s name, and other supported documentsHopefully this will be over soon !!!! we don’t have time for people like this very sad, I wonder if there is more people they have done this to!!! We want to move on

filed to [redacted]. I am [redacted], his wife. To begin, [redacted] came to this client as a homegoods salesman, specifically with a water filter. When [redacted] arrived with [redacted] he sold a water filter in the month of July. Mr. [redacted] did indeed receive the water filter and even sent a payment to [redacted] (the finance company). Why would he send a payment if he didn't have the merchandise? If you want to verify this you could call [redacted] at ###-###-#### and the account number is [redacted]. The down payment that was put on the contract was of $155.41 of which he did not give. We let it slide because there was a reserve check for $2000.00 . They say that they never received the merchandise but they did because as mentioned before the client would not have sent a payment if they didn't have it. These are people who are used to not paying for their things. Some news came to us that Mr. [redacted] happens to be behind on his mortgage. If he is behind on paying where he lives what importance would he give to pay for a water filter? If it comes to point where the client does not pay for a product than money comes out of my pocket, which it did. We were forced to take out money from the reserve check mentioned before. We took out the money that was supposedly given as a down payment and the balance that was owed to [redacted] (again you can call to verify). Furthermore, we verified Mr. [redacted] that we would take out money from the reserves and he AGREED.  In addition, Mr. [redacted] got his children involved in the situation and his children have been sending rude text messaging with insults and things of the like (we have kept all those text messages). We never did business with Mr. [redacted]'s children, we did business with Mr. [redacted]. That being said his children have no business talking to us. The client also claims that he has had no communication with [redacted] which is obviously untrue since we have all the text messages that have been sent to us and [redacted] has spoken with him on the phone.In regards to the real estate ordeal, it's true we don't sell houses. We simply referred them to a real estate firm because obviously there needs for housing would be met there. They are apparently running into some issues but that has nothing to do with us. The client claims that [redacted] doesn't have a "license" when they are running a business without a business license AND he doesn't pay taxes. He's paints a bad picture of us and makes himself look like he's doing everything right, when he isn't. I would like to add that the address given to you guys IS NOT where he lives. You can verify his address when you call [redacted] (finance company). The only decent thing that Mr. [redacted] has done was to call [redacted] and tell him that he would pay his down payment. We would like to end this as soon as possible because we are tired of dealing with the immaturity of this client and we would like to focus our energies on more important things. Best regards, [redacted]'s wifePS: just fyi the letter that was supposedly written to you guys from Mr. [redacted] is actually his son's contact info. We did business with Mr. [redacted], not his son so it would make sense if you had his contact info not his son's.
