Lifeway Homes Reviews (3)

Lifeway homes intends to finish this contract The customer has a husband that has been working out of town and with holidays and the husband only being home on Sundays, we have had an abamount of time spent to complete this delivery But, with the customer requesting that we do not send back the contractor who did the set up, I am working to have another company come to complete the work We will contact the customer direct and let them know the exact date when then new contractor will be there to finish the last 3-items As for her concern that her a/c unit be repossessed from the air conditioning company, the bill has been paid Since the a/c contractor is her brother in law, I highly doubt that it would be repossessed and since he has day terms on his billing, this was not a delinquent billRegardless, we will contact the customer and finish the items needed.Thank you,Mike [redacted]

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2016/01/19) */
Lifeway Homes intends to work on the Home for this family. Lifeway has been to the home many times to do repairs and has fixed many items in the home. The statement that "we haven't fixed anything" is not true. We do not build the homes, we...

only deliver and set up homes that are built by manufacturing companies. If we do not have proper parts, it becomes difficult to finish some repairs. The home has trim that has been discontinued by the factory and we have had a hard time matching the trim in several areas. The customer will be contacted and notified as to the plan to repair the remaining issues.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (2000, 9, 2016/01/19) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
Yes, Lifeway has been out to my home several times to make repairs but the repairs have been incomplete. Workers were sent out to replace molding and caused more damage. They put a hole in the wall removing the existing mold , then patched the hole ( did not sand or repaint the area ) and then installed the new molding. They cut the carpet in several places to install the new molding . Left the job incomplete . Was to return in 2 weeks this was in July 2015. Lifeway removed the entire molding on the door frame leading into the Master bath, leaving open frame work and cold air coming into my house this was also in July. It is still that way .
Yes , I was contacted , after I phoned the Corp office in Oklahoma asking about the Binding Arbitration Provision attached to my contract. I then emailed a list of Issue to Jim [redacted] , in turn a representative from their Minot office phoned my husband asking for the list of issues. I emailed it to Michelle [redacted] on Jan 10th . On Jan 13th I emailed her again asking if you received the list of issues.
In response Michelle emailed back on Jan 14th " yes, I received the list and I have forward to Mike, I believe he is coming this way in the next week or so and I will touch base with him again on it . Thank you "
Someone did call my Husband to maybe come out this past weekend to go over things. .
Again nothing definite

Lifeway homes intends to finish this contract.  The customer has a husband that has been working out of town and with 2 holidays and the husband only being home on Sundays, we have had an abnormal amount of time spent to complete this delivery.  But, with the customer requesting that we do...

not send  back the contractor who did the set up, I am working to have another company come to complete the work.  We will contact the customer direct and let them know the exact date when then new contractor will be there to finish the last 3-4 items.  As for her concern that her a/c unit be repossessed from the air conditioning company, the bill has been paid.  Since the a/c contractor is her brother in law, I highly doubt that it would be repossessed and since he has 30 day terms on his billing, this was not a delinquent bill. Regardless, we will contact the customer and finish the items needed.Thank you,Mike [redacted]
