Review: Tractor was purchased from Liffco brand new in 2011. Was told it can mow lawns on hills. Had to be repaired after purchase in summer of 2010 for disc drive since it could no longer go up hill. Barely made it in 2012 and had to bring back for same problem in June 2013. Still waiting over 2 weeks for part to be delivered to Liffco to repair unit. I called after 1 week and was told part was backordered by one employee, called 2 days later and another employee told me part can be shipped priority since was sitting warehouse in California, another in Troy NY, now it won't come in until next week, blah, blah, blah. First of all, machine is not made for hills- wrong information on their part to make sale. All I needed was to be told and I would have upgraded to another unit- no problem Second, I was never contacted about status of machine being repaired. Had to call myself each time to get bad news Third, son of owner exclaimed that it would be no problem getting unit repaired in 1 week Fourth, after finally talking to owner, [redacted], I was told that they were really behind in repairs and that commercial operators equipment took priority over residential even those customers who purchased equipment there. This was after I had to go through the entire story with him. I was shopping around trying to decide on a snowblower - single versus larger 2 stage. The worker, Darryl, lined up 3 so I could see the size difference wasn't as much as I had thought. This was a concern for storage. He further explained and showed each type and didn't push either over another, just the facts and his opinion and experience. I bought the snowblower and he was even able to arrange delivery the same day. Very friendly and knowledgable, not the usual pushy salesman type.
