Review: I had solar system installed by this company. [redacted] came into my home with his sales pitch on the savings I would have. On top of him telling me that we would save monthly on our electrical bill, he added, I would be getting a $7,776 Federal Tax credit given, was not true, just a sales pitched used.The System specifications consist of 6,480 kW Dc system,24 solar World module(s), 24 Enphase Energy inverter,10,611 kWh of solar electricity production in year 1. Solar share of electricity usage in first year: 63.16% for the cost of $25,920,which was paid in cash.Last years Redding Electrical Utility bill were coming in low so I assumed the solar was working. Then I received a bill in July for $1,568.07. I called to see why the bill was so high for I was paying my monthly bill. I called Redding Electric and spoke with [redacted] and he explained that the solar panels are not producing enough energy therefore, I owed that much. He also went along to say that EMT piping should have been used to give me long time use, not PVC as this solar company used. No monitor was installed anywhere in my home to keep track of the solar rays coming into the panels, as promised. I also had problems getting the panels turned on. May 26 the panels were installed, my check of $20,000 was cashed on June 6 yet my panels were not turned on. It took them 9 days to get back to me.I have called [redacted] three times asking why the solar panels are not producing the energy as promised. He returned my call to say he would be down this area and would stop by to go over the utility bills wattage, that was last week,8/4/15. He never showed up, nor has called back.My husband has Dementia and I am a senior living on a fixed income. Had I leased this product instead of paying cash, I would have had all [redacted] specified in his contract, and maybe the tax credit,but it seems he has moved on and does not care about my problem, nor their dishonesty.Desired Settlement: They fix the problem by installing the right materials that will give me the energy savings that I was promised to have.

I submitted a complaint regarding the above business this pass Mondayand the owner of the business made contact with me on Tuesday to tell me he was coming to my home on Wednesday to take care of the problem. We both spoke with [redacted] at Redding Electric Utilities and he explained to me that the problem may be an electrical leak somewhere inside my home, and may not be the solar panels. [redacted] is providing the monitor (that should have been given when installed), so I can keep track of the solar panel energy levels and if any default is going on with the panels. So I submit this email to let you know the owner [redacted] has come forward and is rectifying the situation. My complaint is no longer a complaint.
